Well, I think the Qiao's are worth some discussion, they've proved pretty interesting characters since they came into the series.

But, the crucial question is, do you have a favourite?

Aside from their outfits, I have always much preferred Xiao Qiao. I didn't really mind Da Qiao until DW5XL in which she was incredibly annoying.
I prefer Xiao in every way, I think her personality is better, she's always been more like able to me, and i much prefer her attacks. Her charge attack is pretty useless but her Musou is far better than Da Qiao's. I think she's also a little more developed, character wise. Her relationship with Zhou You is also far more convincing than Sun Ce's and Da Qiao's, though generally i like the way they tend to act as a 4 person group, that was a nice touch.
That said, I feel Xiao was way under used in Warriors orochi, she was quite an insignificant part of the Sengoku story, her character should have been put to much better use. There were no levels were she was essential and only fleeting references were made to her marriage and sisterly relationships. I really hope she's used more in the second game, as her move set is actually one of the best.

I value both of them fairly highly in WO - both movesets seem to work fairly well. Personality wise I do prefer Da Qiao, the serious for me is more appealing that the downright silly really Xiao Qiao is much more fun though and certainly is well developed in the personality front unlike Da Qiao who needs a bit of work. I like the way they work as a four person group as well - one of the best gangs out there in my opinion. Both the Qiao's also make me like Zhou Yu/Sun ce a bit more than I would usually too. I have however prefered Da Qiao by far in all of the dynasty warrior games where the combo string actually plays a significant part - and Da Qiao's SSSSSS etc is one that I love - she would easily be in my top 10 in DW5 but she's another person who doesn't seem to have improved that much in the transition to WO whilst I feel that Xiao Qiao has.
Niether of them played much of a part in WO but then again, not that many characters did...it would be nice to see everyone playing a more major role in this game

I must also add though that although I do like them as playable characters, I would have liked to see other people who were of more significance to Wu in their playable place...Cheng Pu + Ding Feng for example?

they're cute characters, but i really don't like da qiao in terms of moveset, xiao qiao wins there too.

Yup I started off with Da Qiao, making me then want to try out Sun Ce and Xiao Qiao - she certainly promoted them for me, although I wouldn't go quite so far as saying that I adore them I'm not a fan of Zhou Yu in DW/WO really...not liking his moveset and his appearance very much - personality wise though he's alrite I absolutely love everything about him in Dynasty tactics though! I would like to see him looking more like he does on there. Back to Xiao Qiao, it's her being in Zhou Yu's storyline that makes him bareable to play as IMO.
Hmm yeah with Da Qiao being "the more important one" you'd think they would have worked on giving her a personality first...but then they seem to love a bit of the completely unknown - Xing Cai It is a bit annoying when all of the women run around being sickly innocent and thick...As for strong though, I think Zhu Rong and Ginchiyo would be the best examples although Ginchiyo is almost verging on manly Zhen Ji and No just seem a bit...up themselves...thinking they're the best because they're rich and married to powerful men - or not in the case of Zhen Ji Add on the fact that I find both of their movesets awful - probably only worsted by Xing Cai and Zhang Jiao - brings my evaluation of them to be very low...I just really don't like them - sorry

I'm not really a Qiao player but since i bought WO for the PSP i have learned to respect all characters, especially the Qiaos. I would say i prefer Xiao Qiao because i dont like how Da Qiao is presented as a bit of a bimbo.

I like Xiao, kinda mad though I like characters no one else prefers sorta, but Xiao is just a badass. From personality down to her fighting style.


I am starting to like Da more too, I like her seriousness.

Da was better in Dw5 and WO but in XL she was just so horribly irritating that it put me right off her. She had, Imo, gone from being a rather bland but affable character in the other games to very annoying XD

I agree about Zhu Rong, she is far better than the sweet and innocent women, though i Can't say I agree on Zhen and Noh, though i think what you said is more true of Noh than Zhen Ji. She was portrayed in the game as fairly independent prior to meeting Cao Pi. I think she is far better than all the sweet childish characters or the non existent Xing Cai. Though she is portrayed as a lot nastier in the game than in history, the reverse of Cao Pi. Plus a lot of the males are all ambitious arrogant and stuck up , why not the women

Back to the Xiao's I do feel they have quite well developed move set, the upside of their slightly weak persona, and their relationship with Ce and Zhou You really added a nice plot point to the game. I do enjoy using them, particulaly Xiao. I have always preferred Da's outfit and the design of her weapon which differs slightly.

Yup I think I prefered Da Qiao in all the games so far except XL - the group of four thing worked well in XL and with her being the least fun of that little group she fitted in least well, almost spoiling the positive outgoing aura that the other three let out Xiao wasn't in WO enough and there's no way that she would fight for Nobunaga when she knew where Zhou Yu was so the relationship was missed out there, lowering my rating of her...although her moveset worked well

Zhu Rong rules! I stand by what I said about Noh but yah I suppose Zhen Ji wasn't that bad - it's more the fact that she's married to Cao Pi that annoys me with her (other than her moveset ) I quite liked her before Cao Pi came along, especially in DW4 where she almost had a sorta thing going with Cao Ren She was actually nice there - I prefer that coupling by far although it certainly shouldn't have happened...but then niether should Xing Cai have happened - yup anyone is better than her It would be nice to see a bit more woman-power Zhu Rong does it well, ordering Meng Huo around the whole time - I'd like to see more of that

Is it ok if I said I hate them both Equally? Because its true... They both suck... But if i had to choose one over the other... It would be Da Qiao cos of Sun Ce and Sun Ce pwns while Zhou Yu sucks >.> IMO! (Don't want noone bitchin about that..)

Everyone's entitled to an opinion In a certain aspect I agree with you - the fact that they fight with fans is perhaps pretty but also ridiculous - Sun Ce is almost as bad in that kind of way too though. But overlooking that, I think both of them fight alrite

Some people fuaght with Fans in history of course they were metal.


Mitsunari also has a fan in SW and he owns.


Many people don't like the twins I didn't like em at first neither.

Yup metal fans would be fine but the Qiao's are made out of paper or something
