Browsing the intarwebs i ran across something called 3Dmark Vantage. Which is apparently a benchmark program to determine how good your pc is for gaming. At YouGamers, they have a program called VirtualMark which is a java applet based on 3Dmark vantage and they have a whole list of different games on the market which you can compare your system to the recommended systems of for each of these games. All it requires is a Java Applet download and you're good to go.

And once the applet has loaded you can either scroll through the list of games or automatically check your Mass Effect score by clicking the mass Effect link at the top of the page.
