Fight Pad |
![]() Just wondering if anyone who owns a fight pad; is it easy to perform dash cancels, focus cancels, harder ultras like guile or vega? I have a normal controller now and I can't seem to do Balrogs ultra after the headbutt setup. Just wondering if it's easier on a fight pad. Or is it just better to get an arcade stick? Thanks.

I have the exact pad and it's great. Commands are a lot easier for me to do because the D pad doesn't have a space in the middle like PS3. It's reasonably priced, too bad it doesn't have a USB charge.

I saw that pad the other day at Game Crazy it looks sick, I would've bought it if I hadn't already gotten the Ken ps3 sticker thingy that goes on the outside of the ps3.

I picked up the Blanka one last month (it was either that or Chun-li ><). I haven't really used it much apart from the occasional MvC2 matches. It's definitely way better than the 360 controller and you'll see an instant improvement in your gameplay, but the issue with it is how long will it hold up? Apparently, its durability is shit.

I hear using USB sega saturn controllers are considered the best fight pads.

Doesn't matter.
You can get a Hori EX2 for 30 bucks on Ebay if you get lucky. ------------------- ![]()

my friend got this, i honestly expected the 6 face button layout to be easier but i got too used to the ps3 layout,
but the worst thing ( which is a shame ) about the pad is the dpad, its nowhere near as flexible as the ps3 dpad ------------------- ![]() !|!|!|.unzip your own flesh

Wat. The PS3 D-pad has that space in the middle, makes it awkward. The Fightpad's D-pad is like a mix of the analog's smoothness and the D-pad

quote McClubbinWhen it comes down to beat em ups like Street Fighter, all controllers' durability are shit. Maybe except the fightsticks but even then, more "passionate" can still turn them to scrap. ------------------- ![]()
