Pass Rush

I have found a good way. Run a 4-4 defense, and have the two outside linebackers rush between the defensive tackles and ends. Have the defensive ends rush to the outside and the offensive tackle will follow him and you usually will have a clear shot at the QB.

what i do is i run a dime defense so that every reciever is covered and i take the ROLB and kill the QB cause all he can do if i don't get him is throw an incomplete pass

I run a 3-4 man lock or cover two and take the left inside LB back a few steps before the play is ran then I burst him up the middle, He rarely gets a sack but disrupts the whole Oline of the opposing team and usually my DT gets a sack.

Don't listen to ANYONE ELSE!! They forgot to mention one thing. The statistics of your blitzer is also important as are the statistics of the Offensive Lineman. If you got Terrel SUgs blitzing some nobody, then sure, you'll get the QB. Believe it or not, stats play a huge part in NCAA Football. As for formations, I suggest using a Dime formation, corner blitz, then coverage audible to bump and run to bring the corners in tighter on the coverage. If your corners are fast, they'll get the QB or get him to throw it away most of time. RECRUIT FAST CORNERS FOR THIS SOLE PURPOSE!!
