After playing the game for about a month I'd say this is one of the things I really take issue with.

I'm currently at the beginning of a EURO 2008 campaign with Scotland on Legendary difficulty. With four qualifying games gone, I'm sitting top of the group after gaining maximum points and not conceding a single goal. Yet for some reason, the game seems to be treating my players like they are performing badly because already half of my squad have had there attributes dramatically reduced. For example, James McFadden's overall rating has gone down from 79 to 75 and Kris Boyd's from 75 to 69.

I also noticed something similar on an old Germany game where despite winning the competition the only two players who's overall stat went up rather than down were Robert Enke and Kevin Kuranyi.

So with the way things are going, by the time I've finished with this save all of my starting eleven will be on about 60. I have to say this feature really ruins what otherwise is a very good mode.

Yeah, i've noticed exactly the same, it seems to be impossible to keep Morale at even a steady rate.

Aye this is one of the main things in the campaign which is annoying.

I think it is a glitch, and I dont think there is a patch or any solution to it.
