Right...

I made a big song and dance about this game when I first got it after being impressed by the demo, but I put PES in my machine today for the first time since and I have to say, I think I was wrong.

Perhaps because I am crap at this game (UEFA), but my old flame seduced me all over again.

Hell, I even played online and had the lag, warts and all, but it was still fun.

I know PES has a ridculous amount of things wrong with it, and UEFA is so polished, nice frame rate, the players move well... but it's infuriating (spelling?) and really, really hard.

I think I'm going to have to buy Mrs PES some real nice dinner to accept me back into her life.

This game beats PES2008 by a mile but dosen't beat PES6 or PES4. Those 2 games were football on a console at its finest.

As they are old gen now though then UEFA 2008 is the only decent next gen football game available at the moment imo. Come October that may change.

I'd suggest playing Euro 2008 on a lower difficulty level then?

I've sold my copy of PES since buying Euro 2008. I had no qualms over that, as Euro 2008 is a far better game.

UEFA is for sure a good game and it beats PES 2008 ( but that isn't so hard, boy does that game disappoint me .. )
I loved to play PES 6 that beated every FIFA game.

But for now i'm gone wait and see what the new PES will bring ( it isn't coming out in Oct, because they will give us a steady game, thats a good thing )otherwise i'll go play FIFA for a year or so..

month after release n im still liking this game.. apart the bugs. its definatly the best footie game out at the moment

I stopped playing this game for about a month, infact I didn't play my PS3 for that time. However played it again last night and it's still good, won the Euros with Italy.

I'm back into loving this game and have left Mrs PES in the brothel.
