I'm going to go and get this game later this morning, and although certain it's going to be a sprint ahead of PES, I'm a little worried that you have all encountered bugs, the invisible player one in particular.

I know it's really quite early, what with the game only being released, but has anyone got any word on EA releasing a patch/update/whatever it's called these days?

If not, how good were EA with their post launch support for FIFA? Did they release an update at all? Was it any good? How long did it take for it to come?

Just so we can get idea of things to come, for UEFA 2008 (I'm a converted PES fan and this is my first FIFA game since "FIFA 95 on the Sega Megadrive")

Dont know about the update....

Players only are invisible (in my experience) when they come on as a sub.....and i hear its fixed if you pause the game then unpause it so i dont think you have much to worry about.

It's annoying how Games are Released these days riddled with Bugs, I dont mean a few that are un-noticable, we're talking about serious flaws in Gameplay.

Developers seem to think they can release a Game & not test it properly as if they find a problem they can solve it by releasing a patch. - In the days before the Internet what would they have done then?

Plus what about people who dont have their PS3 hooked up to the internet?

I've not encountered the invisible player bug yet and I've been playing the game for almost a week now.

That invisible thing happened to me yesterday. I was running with the ball through on goal and it looked as if my player just tripped over the ball. I was thinking wtf but luckily there was another player behind to pick up the ball. So again I ran in the same direction and it happened again but then I remembered earlier on here somebody mentioned the bug so yeah, that's what it was.
