What position do you play on captain your country?

I'm thinking of starting as a left back, but it might be a tad boring. Most probably gonna go for left midfield.

I'm guessing most people will go for centre midfield or striker?

Im a left (attacking) midfielder, so thts where I play in the game as well... its pretty cool to stay in position and stuff... waiting on the edge of the box for the ball instead of tryin to go up front and try to head every cross

I chose LMF but when I was actually captain I switched so that I was on the wing that is closest to me, my goal count is amazing lol. I have actually finished it once now.

Im a SS on my game. I keep on making deadly runs it to the box which has helped me get 8 goals in 3 matches.

Depends on what team i am.

In this game i dont really choose what position i want to play in, i just choose which player i feel like being.

i havent done a captain your country campaign yet but wen i do ill probably be CM or CF

I put myself as a LAM, but because Joe Cole is competing for captaincy he always gets in there so I'm forced to play CM. Now that I'm captain though, I could put myself on the left but I prefer it in the centre anyway

Hmmm, I didn't start a CYC yet, might make myself a DM because Ireland don't have a great midfield and its my favourite position in real life too!

I started as a LAM, but I'm playing wide on the right for Wales atm.

I do find it a bit daft that you can select where you play and stuff.

What happens if you substitute yourself btw?!

If you're on about Captain Your Country then you can't substitute yourself or the other 3 players you're competing against.
