Actually, I am the opposite of you. I hyave 57% complete, but I only did the first to Agency missions needed to save and a couple of faction missions I think were also necessary. I have collected about half the faction items (Skulls, drug Drops, and black boxes) and done 39 of the race challenges (because the other faction items and challenges are NOT on my map yet) and I have completed 310 bases/settlements to 100%. I am going to finish the settlements then do my Strongholds, which should unlock all the faction items on my map as well as the rest of the races.

Man, this is one seriously long game!

There are a total of 168 including civilian, military, off shore oil rigs and boat yards (both of them are actually military as well). Also you should not have to do them over and over again. Once you complete any one base/settlement, it will forever have a green check mark through its icon on your map and radar.

You know, at first, Harcore can seem very overwhelming, but oddly enough, NOT on missions. Where hardcore feels very hard is when you are doing base takeovers to try to complete one of the over a hundred military bases (airports, bases, boatyards, etc.) to 100%. That can bge very frustrating when you first start out. Again, though, I don't think that the Agency, Stronghold, or Faction missions will present much problem in terms of beating the game. Even the bases you take over on harcore begin to feel easier as you get better.

Yep, I totally hear you. I have some serious issues with this game, but none of them are with the free-roaming, gameplay, or the exploration factor.

Yeah that is one of my favorite aspects as well. The beached whale was cool, particularly finding the resource package in it, which you have to eviscerate the whale in order to collect!

Yeah, they do. The reason is that there was a glitch in the game where one of the 104 vehicles called the Leisuere Liner never appeared so the trophy/achievemnent was blocked.
