Oh, I didn't realize that. I assumed you could progeam the coordinates into your PDA. Still, it is a great way of marking the map off with coordinates. So are you saying that all the collectibles and parts listed as "get in such and such mission" can also be found outside the mission in free roam before I even do the mission?

By the way, here is a potentially dumb question about the challenges: Is it worth waiting to do the challenges until you have upgraded all your respective vehicles by collecting all the "parts?" For things like getting better times, I am thinking.

Cool! Another couple of hours and I will be diving into this game.

On a somewhat sad side note, many of my other unopened games are angry, frustrated and sad. Several of the games are filing a class-action suit against me for abandonment. In the suit (naming me as the only defendant) they are alleging that I am skipping over them to play a game that I just got from Amazon last night and have been doing this habitually, in some cases, for years. Some of the games feel cheated by my feckless and reckless abandon, having been in my collection for much longer than the games I am playing. Several of my unopened games are years old!

I gave verbal apologies to MGS4, Uncharted 2, and several others that have been in my collection for only a month or more. They were far more forgiving, and gave me a one year extension to start playing them and a moratorium of interest payable to them. I was able to settle out of court with most of my games, but the truth is that some of my PS3 and 360 launch titles that have never been opened simply insist on going to trial. I think Just Cause was the last straw.

I heard amazing things about MGS4, and Mnmfan (who knows me pretty well) highly recommended the game for me. Ii will definitely play both of them at some point. lol

lol Good point, but I will eventually dive into it. Looklike a great game, but not sure why Mnmfan recommended it to me based on what you are saying about hour long cut scenes. Youch!

Can I skip past all of them? PLEASE SAY YES!!

Sounds like I will be giving this onoe away to my buddy who is an MGS fan. I have never played an MGS game and I neither want to watch hours and hours of cut scenes nor bother with a game that is going to be 6-7 hours long.

Well, I am definitely starting to warm to the game. The problem is that even with all the issues I have with it, and all the times I roll my eyes at the game, there is just WAY too much in this game to love for me to just toss it on a shelf. I ended up playing it for about 6 hours until just a few minutes ago, and as maddeningly annoying as certain things are (too many things, to be honest) the good outweighs the bad, and I am just going to have to get used to the things I hate in the game, and hopefully stop hating them quite so much lol.

Btw, I noticed that you closed the "Is there mutliplayer thread". Just wanted to mention, some modders are working on a multiplayer mod for the PC version. That alone might be worth buying the PC version although I already have the PS3 version!

Well, I now have 50%, and I'm seriously getting bored of this game, especially now that I only have settlements to complete and items to find- I've done all except a few of the challenges. I think its time to shelve this game for a while, then come back to it so that I can fun with it again.
