Really, the key point behind the lack of support from Daisy and me about game threads is that when a forum is pretty much all game threads (or supported only by game threads), you could say it's pretty much all spam. Also, what member would sign up if they wanted to discuss Death Note and found that they couldn't, they would likely leave. Game threads are sometimes fun but it's not what new members come for. =)

Game threads are alright, as long as there's a good deal of discussion going on, and there's loads of great threads which still have loads of discussion value which no one has touched in a while in the last few pages from when things started because they've been pushed down by game threads. If you guys want to get more stuff in here there also needs to be discussion to support it.

Just a heads up-- I'm FINALLY out of school, so I will be focusing more time onto the forum. ^_-

FRP needs for me to hold it's hand though, as there are a number of people breaking the rules. So I advise, to anyone who might participate in that forum... pleeeease follow the rules. XD _{I want to revel in the Death Note forum too! X3}

Just as Epic said-- There are currently two Death Note RP's in the Feature Role Play forum. One that's run by Lei (For those of you who don't like to write really, really, really long entries, I don't recommend joining Lei's RP. She doesn't wanna sound mean, but it's her baby, and she only wants people who will write with the utmost quality. ) And.... another one, that I'm not participating in, but doing anything to it out of spite would be an abuse of authority. XP ( )

Although.... The other one might be a little too.... far-fetched for DN's standards.

So we have two very different RP's, and unfortunately, I can't allow any more than that... because that also breaks the rules. ((FRP has so many rules... I'm happy, and I'm even happier when people actually follow them, though. ))

Hummmmm.... If in the future, we still don't get a mod... I dunno. XD I believe the Harvest Moon forums received permission to create a role-play before they were appointed a mod. (Saig! )

Still, unless we have people who will absolutely follow a certain standard, and not get angry when you tell them that they messed up or need to fix something... It probably will not work. ^ ^;

((Other than that, Do we have any other thoughts on a graphics request thread? I would be happy to oversee it, as I have stated. It might not be a serious discussion thread, but.... There are a number of people who might want a specific kind of avatar or banner. ))

How about a Death Note Fanfiction thread? Or a Death Note character(main)thread?

I think people should be able to make a fanfantic by now. It may help to get some activity here.

There's a lot of things I think that can be done which really haven't been at the moment. I'm surprised that a forum which has sprung to life from one of the active threads in Anime has actually fallen silent.

- Death Note for newbies, create a guide of useful jargon and information to how things in this movie/anime works.
- Go back to the Anime forum and keep up concurrent discussion there. Something comes up which is interesting, post a thread here on it.
- Bump up old threads, there's only three pages and some threads got, like, one or two posts and were then forgotten.
- Alternate media discussion if possible. If it's in book form and the like with differences, there's got to be some discussion you can bring to the forum.

If we do a fanfiction contest can I run it? I believe I requested that and it was granted...

Edit: HEY! Dont use one of the stories that I'm most proud of as cannon fodder aganst me alright?! NOT EVERY STORY IS GOING TO BE SHOUNEN-AI!! GOT I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE DO THAT!!

Why does it have to be a contest? What if someone just wanted to make a fanfanctic, but then get in last? They may feel bad about it.
