	You guys, I really don't think that encouraging the game threads to do better will help the forum at all. What the forum really needs is less game threads and more discussions. All that game threads tend to do is allow members to not express themselves or put much thought into their posts instead they simply just vote or answer a question and such to gain more posts while discussion threads add lots of great discussion between members to keep the forum alive. But if you wanted to just go with the other part of your nice idea for members to come up with Shinigami's that they have drawn then they can post them in the Death Note Fanart thread. Where I can bet they would receive some nice reviews on how they were drawn and what not. So for now I just think that the forum can do without these game threads and do with more discussion threads. 	I'm replying from my cell-- So I can't go into a lot of detail. I would be happy to add a part to the Fanart thread where you can request art for an original character. ;D I decided against making the character creation thread, since it would be viewed as a gaming thread. But that doesn't mean we can't combine it with the fanart thread-- It would promote more activity. What I think would be acceptable is for you to produce an extensive character profile, and the participating artists can attempt to create a design-- of course, you'd also have to explain how they tie into Death Note and whatnot... Just describing a random character would be off-topic. XP If it's acceptable, I'll create a few examples to go off of. ^__^ I just want the fanart thread to have more life.... 	Look guys an entire list of more than 30 Discussion Threads sadly only a few of them are very active. I'm off today because I tired myself out and slept most of this morning so I'll get around to doing the index and posting in the discussion threads today. It'd be nice if you guys could do the same.. The forum doesn't need game thrads now or in the future. Game threads really might as well have Spam written all over them. The posts aren't ever thought out or detailed. The posts posted in game threads are just a disguised attempt at raising your post count. What the forum needs are active discussion threads. 	Never ending stories are terrible for forums, it makes the people participating seem immature and discourages members from joining the community here. I hope for the forum's sake that it doesn't get posted. I wouldn't mind seeing a Graphic Request thread, but we already have the Anime Forum's request thread which is busier. Actually, you can also request graphics in the Pictures thread, not just ask if someone can find a picture of a character. Unfortunately, most of the graphics artists active in the forum have...not been here much recently (Lei... )... luffyluffy, I think we should wait until the discussion threads are more active! If you'd noticed, we've dropped to 43^rd in rank of PPD, where previously we were at 17. I'm not saying that's the best way to judge a forum's quality...but it's mostly the game threads getting posts. So, please, please reply to some of the discussion threads, instead of just waiting for your 30 minutes to be up for the Hurt and Heal. There's still plenty of possible discussion left in them. 	Well, here goes my sad attempt to start a thread that has never been created before.... Has this been created? Scrapbook thread I'm kinda thinking that each member does 1 page of the scrapbook (or more if you want) and it has to relate to Death Note. The first couple of pages should be about a character (Ex: Misa) and just make a scrapbook looking graphics image with GIMP or Paint or whatever you guys use. 	That sounds like kinda a cool idea, but it would need to be developed. As well...a scrapbook of information (see below) might be more beneficial to the forum. =3 As for the Summary Thread, which I've renamed the Series Index and Information Thread...Exams got in the way. But I will finish it; in fact, most of it is done. I'm just waiting those character profiles for Light, Misa, and Sidoh (from Nebula), and L and Watari (Lei), before I start the coding.
