Just got done reading an article on 1UP where theres some info on this game, not sure whether its new or not but it claims that the single player campaign mode is running in a rough state and is "finished". Obviously theres still a long way to go before this game as a whole is anywhere near finished but if this is true then its great news and hopefully will we see this game released this year.

Heres what the article says:

This is largely due to a new initiative from the developer that has them focusing on building the gameplay first and then adding art assets and balance tweaks later. wow already done? man that sucks for people like me who dont have online so now we'll have to wait an extra 6-9 months just for multiplayer. Oh well. I suppose it's not that bad. But still an extra 8 months or so???

Yep, I was expecting a Fall 08 release anyhow, as I've heard told that they don't make a habit of pushing releases back, and they still managed to deliver good games...Not bad ^_~

Yeah really I mean Naighty Dog seems like they have just been sitting around. Insomniac is also pretty good at not delaying games.

Something that suprises me is the fact that insomniac has made what, 2 online games? They have so little experiance and they are making multiplayer history.

I believe sleep does not exist in a studio as godly as Insoniac. That is, unless they are Chuck Norris...

I think it's because they wanted to try something new and they did a very good job at it. Uncharted became a blow up success with over a million sales with a sequel getting started and possibly a movie. I never was interested in the Jak games but ,like you said, it would be good if they switch between the franchises. The point is that people shouldn't talk trash about Naughty Dog! They make cool games!

That's good, hope everything is good and they wont have to delay it.
