Why?

Do people not realize that they only had 8 months to work on Call of duty 3?

I'm pretty sure Infinty ward would not have been able to have made COD4 the way it is now if it had 8 months.

Also, what some people seem to forget is that Treyarch were also the one who did Call of duty 2: The Big Red One. I don't know what people thought of that but I thought that was a brilliant game with a brilliant story line.

And one final thing, COD: WAW is not just any WW2 game, it's actually going to be about the Pacific, which hasn't been really done properly. Yet someone people moan and complain as if they've played tons of WW2 games based in the pacific

I personally didn't think COD 3 was that bad...

8 months is still a pretty good bit of time for developing considering they had every resource Infinity Ward had for Call of Duty 2..

And FYI, WAW isn't pure Pacific Theatre, it has a good deal of the Russian part of the great war in it as well.

Yes, it has the battle for Berlin if I'm correct, and other major Russian battles.

I'll give Teryarch a chance....but I understand why alot of people won't.


See way back before I was born my granddaddy bought a Chrysler for the first time......piece of junk...cost more to fix it up than to buy it.

So to this day on he don't mess with Chrysler...Dodge...or Jeep..just to be safe.

so now I stay away from white girls....now I'm not suggesting all caucasian fems are that way....but why risk it when I'm perfectly safe and comfortable with something tried and true

That's why...even thought tech has progressed...my granddaddy sticks with his trusted Fords and Chevy's.

I stick to non-caucasian dating...

and most gamers will stick to the safe reliable satisfaction of GoW and MGS and IW-made COD

Even if the game is set in the pacific, the guns are most likely going to be very similar to the ones in CoD 1, 2, and 3.

Treyarch really should be given the chance. What many people don't know is that Big Red One, CoD:3 and World at War all had a very limited production time. CoD:4 took about 3 years, and World at War's production time is about 8 months. In my opinion, 4 was shit, but I won't get into that here.
