Now I'm doing OK at 800m and 1500m, but how is everyone doing the 100m, 200m and 400m and hurdles events? -------------------

I've tried timing the start. It is generally 4.5 - 5 seconds from the starter saying set to the gun going off and it takes roughly 2 seconds for the bar to move all the way to red. It will take some tweaking but is the only way I can see for an effective start

At least with the starts I know there's room for improvement, but how can my button bashing technique not be correct?! -------------------

I'm a waggler i'm afraid. Put the analogue stick onto the base of your middle finger at the top of the palm and move your hand from side to side as fast as you possibly can. I get good speed. Only event I can't get is the 100m and hurdles due to my poor starting

Im finding it hard to do both o and x and waggle the stick in the short distance running events, the 800m and 1500m are really easy. ------------------- ![]() Credit to Natman4

I'm the same. I can't get the hang of the waggle, and I'm embarrassingly off the pace in the short distance running events. -------------------

R3 left & right as fast as you can, I find it far easier than X & O. ------------------- In the year of our Lord 1314, patriots of Scotland, starving and outnumbered, charged the fields at Bannockburn. They fought like warrior poets. They fought like Scotsmen. And won their freedom.

My best on the 100M so far is 10.67, I've only done it about 10 times, though. ------------------- FM SOCIAL FORUM

quote UnderatedI've got it down to 10.77, lol. Think I've mastered the waggle though, put the palm of your hand over R3 and move from side to side, just need to get my timing right for the start. ------------------- In the year of our Lord 1314, patriots of Scotland, starving and outnumbered, charged the fields at Bannockburn. Looks like I'm gonna have to step up my training regime to get my waggle technique perfected before the Neolympics -------------------
