	Log in to remove this sponsored message Oh hey, my first thread in PokéFiction. Anyway, I've decided to do a Nuzlocke run in a hacked copy of Pokémon White. Hacked?!? Yes, hacked. In what way? Oh, there are different wild Pokémon on a majority of the routes within the game. I never got very far in this hacked version, so I only know little more than the next guy on what'll show up. How was it hacked? Well, I'm here to provide a blog, not on how to break a game. 'Kay? :3 Since the original file was Japanese, all nicknames are limited to five characters in length. I will probably name my monsters after members, more than likely followers. Spheal with it. Rules: Catch the first Pokémon I find on each route and promptly nickname it. Species rule: If an encounter is a Pokémon I have already caught, I may ignore it for a "new" catch. A Pokémon faints, it goes to the Graveyard. Hopefully this won't fill up very fast. If all Pokémon are sent to the Graveyard or if I'm defeated, it's Game Over. Healing items picked up in the overworld may be used, but only in battle (edit: including Revives. Forgot to clarify :L). Otherwise, no healing items. Pokémon Centers may be used. Shinies can be caught, but must be boxed until post-game. Rules are subject to change. _{Note: I may or may not follow these rules before Striaton Gym. Oh look, a tab that says "ABC" Hmmm... five characters. Ump45. Yeah, that works. "Nice to meet you Ump45! This is Cheren... and Bianca..." Yeah, don't care. "I'll be seeing you soon!" Just gimme my Pokémon already... -Nuvema Town- Ah, a nice little village. Professor Juniper heads into my house, and I'm presented with a choice from Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott. Tepig, 'cause only one person told me what to pick. Ump45 obtained Tepig! Bianca chose Snivy. Cheren chose Oshawott. Duh. Battle time with Bianca. Yaaaay. Time to spam the hell out of Tackle. :> Snivy is fast, but Tepig hits harder. Good. Snivy gets a critical hit. Fark. Tepig goes first, and knocks out Snivy. Woot Cheren heals our Pokémon, and now it's his turn. "Oshawott, I'll show them your power!" quote ump45master Yaaaay. Tepig gets the first hit, does more damage. Yet again, good. Tepig takes down Oshawott quickly, thank God. These first battles are the worst. Oh yay, my room's trashed. Everyone moves downstairs, and I take the time to save and check Tepig's nature, 'cause I'm curious. Serious. Neutral nature. Could be worse, I guess. I go downstairs to get my Xtransceiver, which I can never spell right, and venture outside. A few Woobats fly around. Shame they couldn't put this feature in other places in the game, it's pretty cool. I do the annoying task(s) needed to get my Pokédex, and my adventure begins. 	This is definitely going to be an interesting run-through, I can tell already. x3 ump45master Are the wild Pokémon randomized so that each wild Pokémon is replaced by another, and it stays the same in each area where that Pokémon is found, or is it randomized so that every route has different Pokémon? ------------------- "I'm a lone wolf assassin. 	Sigma There are Pokémon that replace the normal encounters for each route. Like, say Purrloin, Pidove, Lillipup, and Patrat all inhabit one route on a normal game. In this game, it may be Pidgey, Shellos, Wingull, and Growlithe, for example, and will always be set that way. If that makes since... haha. Having a hard time explaining it. 	ump45master yeah that makes sense, I had a Pokémon Emerald R-m and it was randomized so that every routes Pokémon were replaced. For example, if a route had zigzagoon and wurmple, and another route did as well, they could be replace with charmander and pidgey on one, the Ho-oh and celebi on the other. 	Part 1 - The Adventure Begins Cliché title is cliché. Anyway, taking my first steps onto Route 1 was... gay. Yeah, definitely gay. Back in the lab, Cheren was being a know-it-all... annoyance, I'll call it. Tbh, I'm not a big fan of early game Cheren. Or Bianca, but Cheren bothers me more. Oh, I also got my Pokédex and Nick'd Tepig to Jason, 'cause Chaos Team was who suggested Tepig. Surprise! Back to Route 1. Juniper shows how to catch the oh-so-powerful Patrat, and I gained my first PokéBalls! Woooo! Time to explore the tall grasses of Route 1! "By the way, Pokémon appear in grassy areas." Shut up, Cheren. I walk into the grass, scuffle around a little bit, and... it's a ~~boy~~ Taillow! Newly caught Sigma (first on notif list ) looks promising, love Swellow. I go to check its stats. Modest. sigh Well, it's in-game, how bad could it be? Time to grind/discover. I'm curious to see what else is on Route 1, and Jason and Sigma need to grow/earn EXP. Patrat (Jason learned Ember here ), Hoothoot, Sentret, Pidgey, and Bidoof. Large variety imo, though I'd only use a few of these, ever. Honestly, if the first encounter was a Bidoof, he would've been boxed forever. Do. Not. Want. After Ember ran low on PP, I walked on to the next town. "How many Pokémon did'ya get?" Ack! Bianca, you scared me. Leave me be. "Two Pokémon, huh? We all tied!" Tied? Wha- Oh, right. The "contest." Well, I could only catch one, so... Xtransceiver rings. GAAAAWWWWD. Early game is so boring. D: Tutorials, tutorials, tutorials. So, I finally healed up and got some Balls (herher), and left the Pokémon Center. Something's going on? Oh, I should probably go back to Route 1 and grind some more. Oh hey, Lillipup, Rattata, and Zigzagoon. More pogamans Enough grinding _{I got bored} Time to take on N and his Purrloin... but I forgot to switch underleveled Sigma with Jason. Faaark Sigma almost held his own though, surprisingly, but I switched him out before Purrloin hax'd him. Now that that's out of the way, off to Route 2. Running Shoes. YES. Headed out into the grass to catch my Pokémon for the Route. ... Pansear. FFFFFFUUUUUUUUU- I really dislike these things. What's even worse is, it's the same type as Jason. sigh I caught him and named him Liter, like lighter, not the metric measurement. On my way to box him, I encountered a Shinx. Soooo... I'm going to close this part now as I'm getting a little angry/tired.
