Hi, I'm FluffySk1lls (you may call me Phil, no big deal), and I am doing a Nuzlocke's Challenge through Emerald.
1. Only catch one (1) Pokémon per new area (No catching Pokémon in cities using fishing rods or surfing either.)
2. If a Pokémon dies, it MUST be released, no exceptions.
3. If I run out of Pokémon in the party AND PC Boxes, game over.
4. Duplicates Clause - If I meet an already captured Pokémon in a new area as a first encounter, it is not counted. This clause will work for up to 3 encounters. After a third duplicate, I will not earn a Pokémon from that area.
--Example for clause..Say I caught a Zigzagoon in Route 101, and I run into another in Route 103. That Zigzagoon will not count as my first encounter in that area. If I encounter another Zigzagoon again, same thing. If I encounter a third straight Zigzagoon (not unlikely either haha) then I am not allowed to catch a Pokémon in that route.
(In the case that I previously own a Pokémon, it faints, and I encounter that Pokémon in a different route or area, then I am allowed to re-acquire that Pokémon. However, it will count as my first encounter, barring me from catching anything else in the route or area.)
5. No item usage outside of battle, only in-battles.
6. No "Legendaries" are allowed to be captured (shouldn't be an issue in Emerald.) This includes the three Regi's as well.
7. I am forced to give a nickname to all Pokémon I acquire (whether via capture or acquisition of other means (Fossils are allowed, trades with NPC's are NOT.)
8. No trading between games, not even for trading evolutions (I couldn't do so anyways, no Ruby/Sapphire/HG/SS/FR/LG .)

May 7, 12 at 3:37pm ^re: Hide Yo Kidz, Hide Yo Wife! Phil's Nuzlocke of Emerald
WARNING! This blog may contain words that describe scenes that may be disturbing for our younger audience.
Update 1: A Tale of Two Normans
"Hmmm, oh, what time is it?! Midnight?!"
*insert boring monologue of
"Are you a boy, or a girl?"
Um, I'm pretty sure Phil is a boy's name, so yeah...
"And your name is?" Seriously bro? Phil...
Hey Birch, what's that laser you got there? Omaigawd!@!@I'm shrinking.
*soon after shrinking stuff is finished*
It's dark, I'm surrounded inside this room. Where am I? This room is moving...am I in a truck? Are they taking me to the looney-bin...? Hold on, the room stopped...the door's opened, and it's dark?
"Hi Phil, sorry you had to ride with our belongings" says Mom. Seriosly, you took me and threw me in the truck? Fuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!
"The movers are finishing putting stuff up, check your room and set your clock." What the hell are these clown things doing in the house? These damn animals, I can't watch TV in my living room, can't get to the fridge, ugh. Guess setting a clock is better than nothing.
*Sets clock to 11:55 PM*
"Oh hey honey, check your desk, make sure everything's there." Yeah, sure thing, I'll check my desk to see the obvious: a notebook that says to save your adventure often lolol.
I walk downstairs, and Mom stops me at the stairs. "OMG Phil, check out the TV, hurry up, OMG, Dad is on the TV, OMG HURRY UP PHIL GRCGFYRKJGJTRHVJTRHB!@!@!11" I get to the TV, only to see the female reporter wink cutely towards my father.
Are you kidding me? He's having an affair, and Mom thinks he's "devoted" to her. How pathetic.
"Oh, you just missed him. Maybe later. Anyways, one of Dad's friends, Professor Birch lives here, why don't you go meet him?" I run out after she mentions Birch, and go over to the neighbor's house.
"Oh, you must be the new neighbor. We have a daughter your age, she might be upstairs.." I guess I can get some action while Dad's getting some hehe, why not? I walk upstairs. Yadda yadda, looks exactly like my room, if she's creeping me, I'm not afraid to pull out the backhand..Oh, what's this. A Pokéball, eh? Don't mind if I do!
"Hey, what are you doing?" What do you think I'm doing, I'm in your room, taking your Pokémanz, then we'll make a fire and make sweet love, you down cutie? "Oh, you're the neighbor, I'm May." I don't care what your name is, let's get down . *She sits at the PC, messing with her Pokédex entries* Fuuuu, I am not gonna get some if she keeps stiffing me like that! Let's check out the lab.
K, where the hell is Birch. Maybe this scientist guy knows. "The Professor is out in Route 101 doing field work." Thanks, peace out dawg.
*Walks toward the route* "I heard screams and yelping, but I'm too scared to go out, maybe you can?" says some brat girl. Shut up, let me handle this. I walk in the route, and low and behold, Birch is busy getting his rear chewed off by a Zigzagoon. What a newb lol.
"Help! You there! Go in my bag! There's three Pokéballs!" Siiick, I get three freebies, eh? "No, take one, they are mine!" ...Fine. I see this one with "Treecko" written on it, I take it out, it looks like the little gecko in the Geico commercials . Why not? So I release it, and get into an insta-battle with some nooby Zigzagoon. Later broseph.
Treecko pounds him into oblivion, and Birch gets his hiney back. "Thanks for saving me! You're Phil? Oh right, the neighbor, Norman's son. Meet me back at the Lab." K, let's go, you're not touching me when I get there though, just sayin'.
*move to Lab*
"Ah, thanks for saving me. I'll give you that Pokémon, so you can go out on a journey! Want to nickname that Treecko?" You bet I do, guy! "Gordon" (like Michael Douglas's character in Wall Street ^^) is my boy! He tells me to see May in Route 103 to "show me how to be a Pokémon Trainer." I hope he meant that in a different way, hehehe (dirty mind alert).
So, I run through Littleroot, and grind up a level or two ( to 7) on nooby Zigzagoons, so May's Torchic won't destroy me with Peck.
I walk up to her, and shock here, making another Pokédex entry about Route 103, she needs something in her life (wink wink .) She sees me, and wants to battle, seriously? I thought you were going to show me something else .
So Gordon beats the weak bird down (realized it didn't have Peck, so win) and we hop those hedges down home. You don't need to remind me of hedges May, I've done this like 637548765 times .
We get to the Lab, May beats me (damn teleporting woman .) Birch learns that I beat May, he's impressed somehow, and May seems pretty jealous that a bro beat her. Birch gives me a Pokédex, I don't need it, I'm not gonna enter squat in mine unlike your damn daughter. May gives me some Pokéballs (I've got a couple for you too .) But yeah, I walk out, and Mom cuts me off before I get out of town.."Here's some Running Shoes honey, they are awesome." Sweet, thanks Ma, gonna want these so I can beat May in a foot race again lol.
Route 101, first encounter is..Omgwtfhaxbswtfisthis!@!@ Oh, a Zigzagoon lol. Gordon plays smart, weakens him down, and I catch the sneaky brown raccoon thing. Named him Zygi, because he likes dem zigzags . Walk into Odale Town, I notice a lady sitting by the Pokécenter, and chat her up, get a free Potion, then go back to the Pokécenter. I'm stealing ur Potionz, u mad lady?!
I venture back into Route 103, where I battled that shawty (May .) I'm hoping I get something awesome in the grass as a third partner in crime. Screen goes nuts for the Pokémon, and it's...a Poochyena. Meh, why not? I let Gordon beat it down for a bit, throw a ball, and it's mine . Named her Sheba, she looks exactly like my dog IRL, and it's a pretty close comparison to any other Poké. I leave again, healing once more at Odale's Pokécenter, then talking with the dude who was blocking Route 102 before. "I was researching footprints of a rare Pokémon...But it turns out they were my own." Aw, sorry you had to be an idiot and block my path...NOT. Suck it, and hae fun being stuck in an almost useless town.
In Route 102, I'm once again looking to add to the Beef Squad, and this little lilypad comes crawling out. Lotad, eh, not a bad Poké, so sure. Sheba took some hits to the lilypad thing and I eventually catch it. She's named Lois, really dunno why, just because. I decide to grind up the crew, as Gordon's level 8 already while everyone else is 2, 3, or 4. By the time I finish, Gordon's at 10, and the remaining Squad is 5. I finally get to fighting weak Youngsters with their Poochyenas and Zigzagoons, and Zygi, Sheba, and Lois take turns switch-training with Gordon. Gordon takes them down like Gordon Gecko wrecks Charlie Sheen in the original movie, and everybody happy .
Petalberg City, at last. I walk into the Gym to confront Norm about his damn scandalous affair with that reporter woman. Right before I open my mouth, some pale goon walks in like he wants porridge.
"I'm Wally, and I've come to get a Pokémon, sir." Kid, shut up, get out, and catch one, you're interrupting a family affair. Dad tells me to help this loser out, and little do I know, he gets some awesome-looking Ralts thing on his team, yet I get squat, squat, squat, and Gordon.
I take him back, he leaves, then I try to confront this a-hole of a Dad about his affair. "Son, we'll talk when you get four badges. Go to Rustboro for your first." You're rejecting your son over Badges? What a low-life, I hope your flirt cheats on you now, you scumbag!
I storm out, and begin to exit, when some professional badass-looking guy stops me. He said he's Scott, and he's on the lookout for awesome Trainers, seems like a cool guy, as long as he's not into freaky pedo stuff.
I walk out into Route 104, long-awaiting training Lois, and first creature that comes out, a Wingull, so I switch out to Gordon to put a smack on him, weaken the neeb, then catch him. Wally's his name, because I hope by the time he's a boss, he destroys that goon's team all by himself.
So, finally after getting that issue over with, I get back to training Lois. Wurmple shows up, ready to become EXP for Lois. of course, Lois only has Astonish, which holds up to its name, because it's "astonishing" how weak the attack is. Flinch works for a couple times, but I take a gamble at 4hp for Lois, while Wurmple is in the yellow in HP. I keep Lois out to get the killshot, but Wurmple only just entered the red, when this villainous worm lands a critical hit on Lois from 4 to 0.
Spoiler:WARNING: Anger Rage Inside!
FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUU YOU STUPID WORM, ALREADY KILLING MY TEAM SO QUICKLY!@!@!GY4RGFYT5KFYGYUT5YFUGT5!@@!@!@!@
So, Lois dies, I switch to Gordon, rid the worm of its life, then immediately head to the PC in Petalburg, and release my old pal Lois (RIP: Lv 4-6 .)
In anger of this, I decide to beat down on the remaining Youngster and Fisherman on the route, lol'ing as the fisherman couldn't do anything with his awesome Magikarp. Bro, protip: Magikarp sucks until 15, and even then, it still sucks until 20, when it turns badass as hell. I heal up after Zygi downs the Youngster's Zigzagoon, while Wally drops some Water Guns on the
I entered Petalburg Woods, again, rushing to find the next member of the team following Lois' death. Coincidentally, I encountered a Wurmple, the damned demise of Lois, and thought, "Better than nothing." Sheba whittled down the health, and I threw a Pokéball, but to my anger, this little jerk didn't go in. FUUUUUU. Threw another, and it finally was captured. She was named "Wendy" because it fit her, a ginger out for vengeance on having the bad apple tag in the team. I put Wendy at the top of the list, and continue through the woods, beating down the weak Bug users who think they are so awesome for using Bugs (Tip: They suck, they are losers.)
Around the middle of the woods, I run into some Devon researcher who is looking for a Shroomish. Guy, I don't even know where the damn thing is, and you ask me? GL. Suddenly, some voice from the shadows shows up. "I've been waiting for you, but you've been in here for so long, so I followed you in." Some goofball in blue comes up and the researcher crawls behind me in fear. This guy's a loser, dude, why are you hiding behind me? Turns out, he had some goods that the "Team Aqua" fool wanted, so I defend him with Wendy. A nice use of Poison Sting and Tackle helped me out a fair bit, but Wendy got low, so Zygi came in for mop-up duty. Wendy grew to level 7, and became the first to evolve. :coolshades:
So Wendy became a Cascoon, and the crew continued on. A few more runs through the bushes, a few more victims of the Beef Squad, and finally, the exit was in sight. I walk out, and, oh. I'm still outside of a town, dammit. I loot all the berries off the trees and don't replant them, like a boss. I decided then to finish off these goons and head to Rustboro. Rich Boy Winston, of course, was first on the hitlist left, and, like Lady Cindy, has a weak Zigzagoon with a Full Restore. Seriously you snobs, why not buy like a level 25 Pidgeotto or something, haul ass with it? Anyways, Sheba and Wally down it, and I walk straight, and this Lass comes out with some stupid Shroomish and Lotad. Wendy drops both of them with Poison Stings, and no damage is done to the Squad. Twins Gia and Mia had their Lotad/Seedot combo, while I had Gordon (lv 10) and Wendy (lv 7) out for beatdowns. Gordon used a couple Leers while the Seedot used Bide, Wendy shot some Poison Stings at Lotad, and one at Seedot when Biding. That damn Seedot nearly dropped Wendy in one-hit, so I played it safe next time around, only using stat-reducers, and finished the rascal then. I finally arrived at Rustboro, skipping over Fisherman Ivan on my way (because Magikarps can wait lolol.) Which was when I ended the progress for the time being.
Next entry will be up in a couple days, guaranteed.
PS: I have played this game numerous times, so if you're wondering why I say some things I do, just remember this .
Sk1llsEdit: Title is something to catch the eye, lots of people know the Bed Intruder song . Also, I'm out for vengeance that Norman is getting action on the side of my mother .

Ah, a Nuzlocke! I hope you stay here in PokéFiction and continue to update and play. We welcome you to the forum with open arms. But, I do have one question, why is the title part of the Bed Intruder song?
May 8, 12 at 9:24pm ^re: Hide Yo Kidz, Hide Yo Wife! Phil's Nuzlocke of Emerald
WARNING: This post features a newly caught Pokémon with a sexual reference and history pun in one. Also includes sexual humor, and at times, anger spouts. BEWARE!
Update 2: Wild Abra used Teleport!
After arriving at Rustboro City, our hero decides to take a quick rest at the Pokécenter, as his team of misfits are reeling from the arduous journey into town. After a quick healing session, the crew decided to investigate the next Route (Route 116) and see if I could acquire the final member of the current team. With that, I run into the grass, expecting the ordinary Poochyena noob to come out and annoy me, maybe come out twice in a row.
Suddenly, wild Pokémon alert, a damn Abra comes out. Given my luck on the run, I have NO Pokémon who can put a status affliction on the damn thing, and I throw a desperation Great Ball at him (courtesy of Devon Researcher's failure of holding onto the Devon Goods the first time). Of course, the bastard breaks out, and used the most irritating move an early-level Pokémon can learn (Teleport, Fuuuuuu!!@!@!).
Well, due to that being my first encounter of an Abra, I automatically LOSE the ability to catch a Poké in 116, so I start training the crew. By the time I finish off the bro's on Route 116 (Youngster Joey and his beastin' Machop, sup dawg, and the rest of the 116 failures), Gordon's at an impressive Lv 13, ready to beat down the competition inside Rustboro's Gym.
I waltz my way in there, and let Wally down the
I reach Roxanne *cues The Police - Roxanne. Gordon shuts down the hilltoppers, and Nosepass nearly gave Gordon touble, but Tackle didn't cut it. She gives me a badge (I would say give me something else, but she's a bit too young for my tastes ).
I exit the Gym, walk up north a bit, and watch some freak in blue sprint down the road towards Route 116, with the same idiot Devon Researcher trailing a mile back. I heal up at the Center, then chat it up with this goon.
"Oh, it's you! You're the Trainer that helped me in Petalberg Woods!" Yeah dummy, lemme guess, you lost your goods again?
Spoiler:Terrible Joke IncomingAnyways, I say why not, I roll through to Rusturf Tunnel, not running into anymore Abras, and as I'm about to enter the cave, I see some old geezer hanging out, whining his bird was taken.
I bet Hellen Keller could get away with your damn goods you dummy...
I realize that he had a Wingull, so I offer my own to him, he just looks at me like I'm retarded, and asks me to chase down the goon and get his Poké back for him. Bro, I've got an awesome Wingull with Water Gun AND Supersonic, he trolls all day, take mine you idiot!
But I go in, I run into a Whismur before I get to the thief, and I let Sheba take him down to health. This guy's whittled down to the yellow, and I throw my Poké, first try works, and I nickname this tank "Cornell", as this Poké is a singing mofo like Chris Cornell.
So, I don't even bother going to the Center, I just switch Sheba with Zygi, and let Zygi destroy the pathetic Aqua member's Poochyena. The guy gets all ragemode mad and calls "HAX!" He throws the Poké at me, as well as the Goods, and the old geezer walks in, cheeks red as cherries, and says he owes me. You know you owe me big dawg, I fetched your damn thing for you, I'd like an awesome reward.*cough Gyrados cough*
I come back to Rustboro, trying not to draw attention, and the damn Devon Researcher is standing right at the entrance, waiting for me. Bro, who said I was going to give you the Goods? Maybe I want deez goods for myself, they sound pretty awesome, so I'll keep them. The guy threatened to call the Policia, so I oblige, give him his package, and he tells me to come with him. This guy's a freak, wanting me to follow him, wants me to find his package, pedo much?
I go into this huge ass building, and next thing I know, I'm talking to the President of Devon Corp. Good, maybe I can convince the Prez to fire that moron, he doesn't deserve a job after losing the same package TWICE! Tisk tisk.. But he's somewhat hiring me to send a letter to some Steven guy in Dewford Town, as well as deliver those Goods to Captain Stern in Slateport City. Dude, I'm not doing free favors for strangers, so no thanks. He then offers to give me
I go back to the Center to heal the crew, and head south, about to exit the city, when some shawty shows up. I told her I can give her an exhilarating finish (if you know what I mean ahaha), but she wanted to fight Pokémans, so I did.
Torchic was no match for Wally, and her weakling Lotad went down by the newly-evolved Wendy (an awesome tankmode Dustox) via Poison Sting (lol, super effective, yet hits so damn low for being STAB ).
She loses, offers to stroke it for me, but I tell her I'm too busy delivering goods to others.
I run south of Rustboro, remember to fight Fisherman Ivan and his fantastic team of Magikarps that totally pwn errthing. I then chat it up with Lass Haley, Rich Boy Winston, and Lady Cindy to register them in my PokéNav, so I can beat them down later on down the road.
I finally make it to Briney's cottage. He's got a boat outside, so I expect this cheap old man to give me a ride to Dewford. He's praising me for my deeds, and I'm asking him for a ride to Dewford. So he says ok, we hop in the boat, he speeds off, and on the way, some scumbag calls me. "Phil, it's your dad, Norman. I'm having sex with the reporter again. I heard you got a PokéNav, so lemme register you so I can annoy the hell out of you. K, your mother doesn't know about Gabby, does she? Later bro." Scumbag, you don't see me being a toolbag like that, he barely acknowledged Mom, what a douche...
I was wondering where the Poké Coast Guard was to arrest Briney for speeding, but they weren't there. I headed to the Dewford Hall, but they are talking about "Bored School", which is some dumb phrase some hipster outside the building came up with. Really dumb phrase, so I came up with my own. I suggested to him "Sturdy Board", and the hipster acts like he's known it before it was cool. Damn hipsters, gotta be raining on your parade. I walk back in the Hall, and the whole building is talking about "Sturdy Board" (XD) and some little girl has "Sturdy Board" merchandise. I told her to gimme all the stuff, but she started crying.
I gave it back, walked out, and headed towards Granite Cave. However, I realized that there is a Route between Dewford and Granite Cave, so I talk to my fishing bro, who gives me an Old Rod.
I fish, hoping to Arceus for a lv 19 Magikarp, but Arceus rained on my parade, giving me a Tentacool @ lv 7. I catch it, name the bro "Theodore", and left his broke ass in the box.
I battle the Fishermen on the route, walk in the cave, and talk to the Hiker in there.
"Oh, some Steven dude ran through here, you're gonna need Flash. Fortunately, I have it here for you, but you need Dewford's Badge to use it outside of the Gym." Hey Sasquatch, I don't need Flash, I did this before, I'll do it again.
I run toward the ladder, and a Poké comes up. I thought I would get the unfortunate luck of finding Abra again, and I nearly ran, until I saw it was a Zubat.
I whittled his health down, caught him, and nicknamed him "Zoolander" (I should have made it "Zulander" lol bad pun) and he rots in the Box for a while.
I walk down the ladder, run to the next one, and Aron comes out of nowhere. I have Zygi headbutt the thing into a near coma, then throw my Balls (unnecessary, but necessary lol) at it. Caught the pro, named him "A-Rock", referencing one of the Beastie Boys (no, not the one that died). He also joins the Box that rocks, and I chase down Steven through the caves.
I finally get there, and genius here says that he hopes to see me as the Pokémon League Champion. Don't Jynx me Bro!@!@ Now I'm gonna die at Brawly thanks to you genius.
I run through the numerous Makuhitas and Zubats in the cave, withdraw Zoolander, and start grinding the gang up to around Lv 13. I'm mainly using three main guys against Brawly's neebs, being Wendy (Dustox), Wally (Wingull), and Zoolander (Zubat).
All three reach 13, Zubat knows no quality move to use against Brawly (minus the hideous "Astonish"), so Wendy and Wally take down Brawly's trio of a-hats.
Wally plowed through the first two with no problem, then I switched Wendy in for a 4x resistance vs Brawly's Makuhita. The damn thing nearly dropped me with Reversal, but Wendy stays in the yellow, and downs
He gives me the (currently useless) Bulk Up TM, and I walk out, heal up, and chat it up with Briney, tell him to speed all the way to Slateport.
He speeds there, and the Coast Guard sees him, just doesn't do anything, and we arrive.
I fight the first Tuber kid I see, and it's a damn Wingull that confuses Zygi, then Zygi decides to beat himself up. I pull him, let Cornell (holding a Silk Scarf, which boosts Normal moves) trash the pest with Uproar, and hurry around the corner to sneak into town without running into any Trainers.
I heal up, notice a long line of Team Aqua goons wanting to go into the Museum, then go back down to the Route to finish off the rest of the weaklings.
Zygi's Headbutt + Cornell's Uproar + Wendy's Confusion = destruction of the remaining Trainers.
However, note this, Zoolander's patheticness reached a whole new level when he had trouble dispatching one (1) Lv 11 Azurill. He was at half health, I pulled him, told him he sucked, and let Gordon down the last Azurill in two Pounds.
I clean out the Trainer House on the beach, get my six-pack of cola, and head to Stern's Shipyard to look for the guy.
Some chubster says he's in the Museum (What a coincidence, there's like 45465488 Aqua Grunts outside of there!) I leave the shipyard, and oddly, the line to the Museum is gone. Did they teleport off to their base or something?
So I walk in, and all I see is an Aqua circle-jerk going on. I talk to the first Grunt there, he flips out as if he wants to battle me, but gives me a TM, then runs out the door as fast as possible. Thanks bro, see you in hell .
I walk upstairs, look at the exhibits, then look at the SS Anne model Stern is looking at, then talk to this jerk. He's cocky and says, "Of course, I'm Stern", then a couple bums walk in from Aqua's little party, and they challenge me.
Cornell wanted to take down some Carvanha, so I gave him the green-light to Uproar the Grunts, and he finishes them with no problem.
Those two bums start crying to themselves, then some punk with a gay pirate suit walks in between them, bashing the two Grunts for sucking so badly.
I thought this guy could be a cool dude that thinks straight, but then he went off on me for beating his two noobs. Listen, if your Grunts didn't suck so badly, you would have your package, then would take over the world, blame your terrible team, man. He tells me not to interfere with his business, or else. Sounds pretty bad, are you gonna turn me into a gay pirate too? Lolol.
Archie leaves, and Stern takes his goods, gives me nothing, then walks away. Thanks, appreciate the reward. No wonder why you're called Stern, you sure do live up to your name.
I exit the Museum, and the pedophile Scott shows up, and tells me he saw me scare the living hell out of Team Aqua, and wants to register me in his
I knew where he would be next, so I walk towards the Battle Tent, and sure enough, he walks out as if he knew I was going there.
I head north into the next Route, and search for something new. Poochyena, killed, already got one, then a Gulpin comes out. Yippie, another Poké weak to Psychic on my team. I name her "Boobonic" (nice history name and sexual name at that, double whammy). She heads to the Box, so I drop off Zoolander (cause he sucks a big one) and Wally (for a little), then withdraw Wally again, because he's my training bro and I need an answer to May's sexy ass soon.
I withdraw A-Rock, put him at the head of the party, and use him in double battles against the Plus/Minus lovers with Gordon. We down them, A-Rock learns Metal Claw (fook yeah) and Gordon turns into a dinosaur looking thing (Grovyle).
I head into the Trick Master's house, cause he's a cool dude, and take his first challenge. I beat the pulp out of Shroomish, two Zigzagoons, and whatever the other girl had, and enter "Trick Master is fabulous" as the code. He gets all jelly that I beat his puzzle.
He was definitely jelly, so he gave me a Rare Candy as a reward, then teleported out. What a damn boss, I want to be a boss like him someday. I leave, then kill the trainers on Route 103 (The area west of Trick Master's house), then finish up my playing there.
Play Time: 7 hours, 40 mins.
Current Pokémon that are part of the game (including Boxed) will be uupdated in the first post.
Changes from first update:
-Cascoon -> Dustox (Lv 15)- Name = Wendy
-Treecko -> Grovyle (Lv 16)- Name = Gordon
Next update will be whenever I decide to continue playing (probably tomorrow or Thursday).
PS: Post if you'd like to be on Notification list, or PM, doesn't matter to me. C&C Appreciated on the Blog .

WARNING! I DON'T KNOW WHY THIS IS HERE! THERE MIGHT BE SWEARING AND STUFF, SO IF THE YOUNGER AUDIENCE HAS ISSUES, KEEP THEM AWAY
Without further ado, I bring you...
Update 3: We're In This Together!
After beating the Trick Master in his own game for his first house, I decided it might be a good idea to grind my crew up a little bit before I hook up with dat hoe May. So, a good amount of levels to some members, mainly Wally, Wendy, and Gordon, and the crew is in the 15-18 range, ready to beat down sexy May and her team of losers.
She starts out with the oddball choice of Wingull, so I immediately switch from getting a whooping with Wendy to handing out a beating with Zygi. A Headbutt or two later, Zygi downs the rat with wings, and Lombre is the next piece of
Wally wanted to bring this
By the time Combusken died, May was unzipping my pants. I told her, "Woman please, I've beaten you, and now you wanna do it? I'm having too much fun beating down on you. Get lost, dawg." She runs away, and I head back to Slateport to rest up, then journey back to finish the trainers on the underpass.
Mauville City, what can I say? By far one of the silliest excuses of a "city" in the game. All there is is a casino, a PokéCenter, a sad excuse for a Gym, and a PokéMart. Oh, and that Rock Smash dude. Anyways, I notice that loser Wally who thinks he's hot
Wally's all hardcore and stuff, saying he's ready to beat Gym Leaders. Pfft, if you were ready to beat Gym Leaders, you wouldn't have needed MY help to get your damn Ralts, fool. So his uncle tells him he's not ready, and pretty much lets me let him down easy. My Wally used one Wing Attack, and down the small Psychic blunder goes.
Wally realized he lost, then gets all depressed and cuts himself. Good, he's outta my skin now. Then his uncle thanks me for beating Wally. NP bro, just dial me up when you need a hitman .
Anyways, after beating that scum, I decide to clean out the Gym (bar Wattson) and do so with a bit of ease. Some Youngster taught his Zigzagoon Thunderbolt. Really, does that Zigzagoon face that many Water and Flying types? I guess it can't beat a Gyrados, so that's why lol. I beat them down, and leading the team in the dismantling is a surprise contender.
Ad-Rock was only Lv 13 when we last checked in, however, his use of Headbutt and his good defensive typing made him a good choice for the trainers pre-Wattson. I realized that Wattson has his lowest Poké at 20, so I decide to further expand my grinding, mainly of Ad-Rock.
Many pathetic Trainers running from Route 117, Route 118, and Route 111 later, Ad-Rock is at a team-leading 25 (pretty impressive for a little guy) and has learned a very beneficial move in Take Down. Luckily for me, Ad-Rock's ability is Rock Head, so he loses no HP from the recoil moves (Can you say...TANK?) Unfortunately, while in the process, I ran in the grass of Route 117, encountered an Illumise, but Ad-Rock dropped him, so no Poké allowed there .
But even then, I still feared that Ad-Rock wouldn't be able to carry me throughout the whole Wattson battle, with the main spot scaring me being that damn Manectric. With this in mind, I went back to the Underpass to continue grinding, in specific, four main members of the crew.
Last we saw of Wendy, she was poisoning May's Lombre, and giving it the unfortunate ending of Gust + Poison & Poison Sting. After a short while of Gulpins and some Plusle/Minum, Wendy was now Lv 21, sporting two great additions to her moveset: Protect and Moonlight.
Gordon was also in the mix of leveling, seeing as he is the starter and pretty much the backbone of the whole team. He went from a modest Lv 17 to a fair Lv 22, no new moves unfortunately.
Zygi is yet again another member who was lacking from the May battle onwards. Due to this, I decided Zygi earned his stripes (haha, pun not intended, really) and I allowed him to beat down on any opposing Electrike, Plusle/Minum, Gulpin, Poochyena, and his favorite...Wingull!
One wild Pokémon that I didn't mention that Zygi killed was Oddish, and there's a quality reason for that. I faced the very unfortunate decision of whether to break my Nuzlocke rule of only catching one Poké per area. The main reason why I would catch an Oddish?
Spoiler:Why get dat Oddish??
Wild Oddish Appeared! *Cue Stars around the body*
So yes, I had a decision. It was either to keep true to the Nuz, or break it for a Shiny. I chose to keep the Nuz, sorry Oddish, you still suck, even if you are shiny.
A few Headbutts, and the shiny died, and I continued onwards with training. Soon, Zygi evolved into a Linoone (No need to change names now, you hater.) With this, I trained him another level, figuring that he might get Mud Sport while I face Wattson. I eventually stopped training him at Lv 21. A quality gain in 6 levels.
Finally, the last growing member was the loudest, of course, it has to be Cornell. Last we heard, he was Uproaring the Aqua Grunts and their Cravanha with great efficiency. Again, following the same formula that succeeded with Zygi, eventually, Cornell became even louder, and evolved into a Loudred. I stopped his grinding at Lv 20, a 4 level gain.
Now, I felt that the crew was ready for Wattson's psychotic madness. Knowing this freak had a Voltorb going first, I put Zygi on the line first, letting him take down the Pokéball in two Headbutts.
Keeping with the flinching streak, Zygi stayed out for round 2 against an Electrike, a common foe of his in the grinding at the Underpass. He nearly 1-hit the green moon-dog, yet got paralyzed. Fortunately, I knew that damn dog had Static, and gae Zygi a Chesto pre-battle. Two Headbutts later, Zygi downed the dog, as well as becoming paralyzed yet again.
Magneton was the next troll, and it was a pain of one. I let Zygi stay out for one more hit, and he made sure Rock Smash would do something, barely popping the Steel-typed scrap into the yellow. Magneton returned the favor with a generous Shock Wave, nearly dropping Zygi on the spot, but sparing 7hp.
Wendy's turn was next, and unfortunately, Wendy wasn't too efficient here, as Steel >>>>> Psychic and Flying, so it was a bit of a waste. Sorry Wendy . I used that opportunity to give Zygi one of several Soda Pops to get him back up to plenty of health. She lived, with about 17hp, as I switched to Gordon.
Gordon, fortunately, had an attack, which is more than I can say about some other members *cough*Wendy*cough*(<3 You Wendy<3). Gordon hit the steel turd with a couple Pursuits before being down to around 20hp. Now, time for the man of the hour...
Ad-Rock Appears! Ad-Rock's main goal of the whole battle was to take down this steel wrecking ball before it got out of control. The part that scared me was switching in, as Wattson must have predicted it.
"Foe Magneton used Thunder Wave!"
"Ad-Rock is Paralyzed! It may not be able to attack!"
Two of my most hated words in Pokémon...Thunder Wave...
Ad-Rock's day wasn't getting easier either, with the turd using Supersonic, setting up a potential Parafusion + Shock Wave nuance combo. However, thanks to the Trainer House in Slateport selling cheap Pop, I bought 15 of them just for this fight alone .
Healed up Ad-Rock, and soon enough, he started Mud-Slapping the oblivion out of the floating trash. Soon, Wattson used his last Super Potion on the turd, and Ad-Rock had finished him in another two Mud-Slaps. Finally, the real game is on.
Manectric vs Zygi. Speed vs Speed. Shock Wave hit Zygi, he kept going, even when he was paralyzed. Zygi used Headbutt, landed a Crit, made Manectric use its berry, then used another Headbutt, but was paralyzed.
Soda Pop, drink up Zygs. He did, Shock Wave again, then another Shock Wave after I commanded for a Headbutt. The demon was in the deep yellow. Quick Attacks came now, drink another soda Zyg. Again, Quick Attack came, and soon enough, Zygi had the obvious advantage in the fight.
The blue and yellow dog hit the ground cold.
We won the battle, and I was relieved as ever. I was worried that Zyg was going to freeze up and screw up the game, but he stuck it through, and he's one of my key boys for that reason.
Wattson cried tears of joy, gave me Shock Wave, and let me use
Party Team, Moves, and Levels As of Now!
Zygi Lv 22
Gordon Lv 22
Wally (Did not participate in Gym Battle at all) Lv 18
Cornell Lv 20
Ad-Rock Lv 25
Wendy Lv 21
That's all for now, I'll probably post another tomorrow or possibly tonight again.
Sk1llsEdit: Edited in a mini-comic. It's my first, so it's not amazing, but it gets the job done.

May 11, 12 at 10:46pm ^re: Hide Yo Kidz, Hide Yo Wife! Phil's Nuzlocke of Emerald
Guess I'll triple-post .
So the old fart gives me the badge and Shock Wave, something that won't be used for the time being, but regardless. Time to get the hell out of this city.
Zygi, being the champ he is, used Hulk Smash to destroy some boulders, and one of the first things I see are the
Previously, on Nuzlocke... Phil was forced into the moving van to "keep the valuables safe" by his mother. Norman winks at the TV Reporter, Gabby, and this infuriates Phil, because he knows Norman is having an affair with the reporter. To further infuriate Phil, Wally, a kid who went to Norman to catch a Pokémon, was pretty much handed a Ralts (pretty decent Psychic option IMO), while Phil had to work for his Pokémon. All this rage has built up inside Phil. Until now.
Phil has currently beaten three Gym Leaders (Roxanne, Brawly, and Wattson), as well as beaten additional challenges by opponents such as May (three times) and Wally (once, one-hit KO by Wally, the Wingull).
What holds next for our adventurer out for vengeance? Join us in...
Update 4: A Fireside Chat!
It's her, the vile woman that tainted my mind, my eyes, my soul, my family. I'll show her, I'll show them all! "Oh, you look like a strong Trainer, do you mind having a battle with us? Roll the cameras!"
Ad-Rock was a mean Lv 26, while his partner for the battle was Cornell, a Silk Scarfing powerhouse at Lv 20. Magnemite and Whismur were lined up for the devil's team. Ad-Rock mowed down the pesky magnet with a single Mud-Slap, while Cornell let the Whismur barely survive in the red from a resulting Pound. Cornell finished the job a round later, ending the "good battle" that the evil woman described the battle as.
Anger. All I have is anger driving me. Nothing else fuels me like anger.
"Do you want to be interviewed?" Phil looked at the reporter with eyes as red as a ruby. "Give me the mic, you wretched creature!" Phil screamed. The reporter threw it at him, and that only fueled Phil's rage even further. "Norm, I'm coming for you. You cannot escape the truth! I'll tell Mom what you really did to their relationship. I'm going to beat Flannery, then you're next. Be prepared. Phil out!"
The reporter asked for one last word to describe the scene. Phil gave her one word that has been in his mind the entire journey. Anger... he thought. "Anger." She jumped back, as the ruby red eyes glared at her.
"Erm, that was Phil, one of the Featured Trainers on Route 111. The battle was intense, and Phil's description on the battle was "Anger. Thanks, have a nice day Trainers!" She finished the sentence nervously. She looked the direction Phil was previously at, and only a trail of tears were left.
He threw away the marriage for that floosy
A Roselia-owning Picnicker and a Numel-owning Camper later, he was on the cusp of the Cable Car station, when some red spacemen-like men ran by and blocked the entrance. They spoke some jibberish, referencing Meteor Falls, a Meteorite, and a plan on Mount Chimney. I opted to take the only route available; Fiery Path.
Again, new area meant new Poké, and as I was leaving, I stuck around for a muscular, human-like creature; Machop. Wally again cuts down the health, this time with a Water Gun, and a Pokéball got him. He was named "Arnold", as he will resemble a finely-fit muscular body that has the same name *cough*schwartzenegger*cough* Sorry, I have a bad cold .
Anyways, upon exit of the route, Wally was determined to keep growing, after getting shunned in the previous Gym Battle for his very inefficient typing. Flannery's Fire-type team wouldn't stand a match for Wally's determination soon enough. With that, Wally would beat a Slugma immediately upon exit of the Fiery Path, then evolve into a lethal tanking machine in Pelliper, as well as picking up a new move in Protect.
Hmm, this Route looks familiar...Hey, this is where my grandmother lives! Just a Cut by Zygi away, and into Granny's house we go.
"Oh, why hello Phil, you've gotten bigger! Oh, you have Pokémon too? Why don't you rest for tea and cookies for a bit?" I gladly obliged, sharing the details of my current journey. "You know, your father cares for you, but he cannot know what's going on in your head. Speak your mind once you get there. But for you, remember, it's what you come from that makes you stronger. Don't use this as your only motivation, use this as an attainable goal, then you can use it as a pedestal for further greatness. Oh, you've finished the cookies! I'm afraid you're gonna have to leave, as these cookies can't be made with you here. It's a secret recipe!"
I sadly walked out of the house, but continued to think about the words Grandma told me. It's what you come from that makes you stronger... Can this "anger" be a motivational tool to reach greater heights? Can I go higher than just Norm? I continued to walk northwest, finally reaching an ash-filled Route 113.
I ran through the grey grass, hoping to find an exhilarating find to boost my team, possibly a Spinda, maybe even an awesome Skarmory.
Oh, a Slugma..Ok, fine . Wally threw a Wing Attack its way, and kept it in the red, while I threw a Pokéball at the red slug. Capture again. I wanted to name it "Skeeter" for some odd reason, but it was a she, so "Skeetette" fit it alright. We continued down the route, stopping in the Ash-Blower's house to pick up a free Soot Sack. I finished up the remaining Ninja Boys, Picnickers, and Parasol Ladies, and made my way into a cozy little town, Fallarbor Town.
I assembled my current team as night fell. "Guys, what is my destiny? Why am I doing this? Is it all for revenge? All against Norman, what am I doing?" Minutes of silence passed, and Phil nearly gave up when suddenly, he heard a deep, beautiful voice, as if Morgan Freeman were narrating his every action.
"We've come to the conclusion, Phil. You're not only stopping at Norman. You're not doing this for revenge. You're not doing this for a lost cause. You're doing this for you. You are destined for greatness, and we'd like to join you in your destiny. Please, don't give up. Please."
Phil, stunned by the convincing speech, turned around to find Cornell, the Loudred, was looking him eye for eye. Phil's eyes started welling with tears, and Cornell hugged him gently. "Thank you guys. I won't let you down. We're in this together, if you go down, I go down just as hard." Cornell grunted deeply, calling over the rest of the team.
"Phil," a gentle, peaceful female voice called, "You're the only human I can fully trust. You've raised me from my youth. You've watched my rapid growth. You're the only one who can understand my emotions. I'll do whatever it takes to help you reach your destiny." It was Wendy, the lone female of the active team. Phil gently petted the moth's feelers.
"Phil, you've given me hope," called a squeaky voice, "That I can become as great as you. Please, don't give up on us." It was Ad-Rock, and Phil patted his tiny back.
"Yo, if you give up man," a weasel-like voice said, "Then where are we goin'? Dawg, y'know we've been loyal, you earned our 'spect. We trust you, dawg." Zygi stepped forward, petting his soft silky fur against Phil's leg.
"Hey, you've been my partner for quite some time," a crackled voice called. "You might not have trusted me last Gym, but you're instilling so much into me now, that it's impossible not to feel trust in you." Wally (The Pelliper) flapped towards Phil, nudging him slightly with the dull end of his beak.
"Phil, Phil, Phil. You know me. You have been there with me this entire journey. I've seen the rise of us, I've seen the fall of Lois, I thought you were going to give up after that. You didn't. In fact, you pulled us even stronger since. You've earned my trust after the first Gym, and have the utmost respect of mine." Gordon sneaked forward, and all the Pokémon now were in a "group hug"-esque moment. Yes, the hug happened, and Phil felt re-invigored.
This is part 1 of 2, I'll post the second part tomorrow (from Fallarbor to Flannery's battle).

As noted, Part 2 (Fallarbor Town -> Flannery's Gym).
Update 5: A Fiery Finish!
Dawn rises on a new day. A day that looks promising for Phil, after last night's emotional intervention with his active party. All the Pokémon agreed pleasantly to return to their balls, and Phil set out on Route 114. A flimsy Fisherman and some weak Picnickers, and Wally was rolling through the opposition.
Phil, as customary, looked inside the wild grass for yet another member. He was very surprised when the first Poké to appear from the trenches was a relative of an old friend...a Lotad.
Rules state that Phil must either catch the Lotad, faint the creature, or run. However, if he does not capture it, and chooses the latter two options, it results in the forfeit of acquiring a Pokémon in the region. Catching it would be as if he never caught it, so it would also forfeit acquiring another Poké in the route.
Wally was swapped out after the sight of a Lotad, and instead, Gordon was sent out to weaken. A Pursuit later, and Lotad was weak enough. "Louis" was soon captured, and is a distant cousin of Phil's *currently* only fainted partner, Lois.
Phil and the crew continued on, anxious to reach Meteor Falls, where rumor has it, Team Magma has requested a meteorite for their operations. Some weak Hikers, Kindlers, and Picnickers later, the team reached it's destination.
Walking inside, it was a beautiful sight to witness. Crashing waterfalls, not too dark, beauty at its finest. And then, I stepped in the middle of hell. As I walked toward the center, a group of characters similar to the red spacemen seen before were harassing a scientist over a Meteorite. Just as these characters began to confront me, the adorable crew in blue came out of the other entrance of Meteor Falls. Archie's thugs helped "somewhat" trap them. However, a nice shove by a few of the thugs, and the spacemen escaped. Archie told me that these spacemen are "Team Magma", who sound like Team Aqua, just for land instead of the sea. Archie's pirates soon left, as had I.
Walking back through Route 115, I faced some simple challengers, one of which featured two somewhat rare Pokémon, Zangoose and Seviper. Neither of them were challenges for the greatness of Wally and Ad-Rock, as the duo sweeped through the remaining foes. Finally, a few ledges separated us from our return to Rustboro City.
We took a stop at the Center, healed up, and set out for the newly-cleared Rusturf Tunnel. Right before I arrived, the Researcher whose help was required numerous times was sitting at the entrance looking for me. He gave me a Repeat Ball, unfortunately, useless for me now that Louis was caught. I continued through the tunnel.
Previously, there was a small crevice inside the tunnel I left unexamined. I crept further through the bright tunnel, to emerge...in between routes? I found some Maniac who lost his glasses, so I figured, me being the nice guy I am, I would find his shades. Instead, I found some BlackGlasses (Dark-type boost), offered them to him, and he rejects and leaves. Score .
I exit the Rusturf Tunnel out to Verdanturf Town, and head to Mauville, then take the somewhat boring bike ride north to the Cable Cars. The spacemen...they left...could they be up on Mt. Chimney? Let's do itttt!
So I chat with the receptionist, we hit it off, she tells me what's going on. "Some people im red spacesuits went up the Cars to Mt Chimney with some giant rock. They said they would wake some Pokémon up." I thanked her, gave her some cab fare, and went on my way up the mountain.
When I got there, it was a mess of Aqua vs Magma, and one fight featured 3 Magma Grunts facing Team Aqua's Archie. Archie seemed to be handling it well, so I moved on to beat down a couple smaller grunts with Gordon, then defeated the Admin just as easily. After we fought, the Admin mentioned some leader, and I investigated the machine this "leader" was operating. He didn't seem to be paying attention, as I walked in front of the machine, somewhat past his face, so he's zoning out I guess. I listened to him talk after investigating the machine that stocked the Meteorite they stole from Meteor Falls, and it only took him about 5 minutes to finally realize I was behind him the whole time. He then challenged me, after learning that Archie ratted me out.
His Mightyena was a pain to deal with, nearly knocking Gordon out in a short bit of time. I switched Gordon, and let Ad-Rock finish off the vile beast, while Wally took down a future foe in Camerupt and a minor menace in Golbat.
Once over, Maxie took his crew elsewhere, and Archie appeared to kind of thank me. However, I still think he's as shady as Maxie. He soon left, and I made my way down Jagged Pass, killing off the remaining trainers separating me from Lavaridge Town.
I was anxious to reach the Center, as Gordon was dangerously low on health. Immediately after, it was Wally time at the Lavaridge Gym.
Wally, looking fit as ever at Lv 27, was tearing through all the trainers (bar one Trainer and his Kecleon) with a simple Water Gun, and killed a Meditite that used Fire Punch with relative ease. I re-stocked his Water Gun PP, and headed back to finish off Flannery. The Numel was no issue, and the Slugma was nearly even less of an issue, until it held on by a sliver of health to use Light Screen. That's when things got really interesting. First, I brought out Zygi to put a flinch or two on the Camerupt, until Zygi got damaged a fair bit. I swapped Wally back in, only to have the cursed camel use Attract on the pelican. it was a bit of a pain to finish off, but once I did, it was down to her Torkoal. This was even more of a challenge, when I sent out Wendy to waste a PP of Overheat vs Wendy's useful Protect. I did so, then re-swapped Wally in to waste another Overheat. Soon after, I was rolling a bit smooth, got the turtle under half, when the unfortunate fire mess used Attract on the pelican. This created a huge issue after Wally got paralyzed from a coincidental Body Slam. Fortunately, my stock of Soda Pops from the Wattson challenge remained somewhat high (about 13) and I kept a constant use of them handy, when finally, after I used my final Soda, Flannery's turtle ran out of BOTH Overheat and Body Slam PP, giving me an almost free win. Wally fought through the nuances of attraction and paralysis to finally finish off the creature, and I had earned the fourth badge.
I soon exited the Gym, to receive a pleasant surprise from a very aroused female acquintance, May. She gave me some Goggles to see in the desert, and I ran through, finding some odd tower while I was there. Again, being a first encounter, I acquired a new partner in Sandshrew, named him "Blades", then climbing through the "mirage" Tower to find two fossils. I chose the Claw Fossil, and when I did, the Tower began collapsing, as I watched the Root Fossil fall into the sandy catacombs of the desert.
What's next? I asked myself. I looked at the Trainer Card, and I saw that there was only one Gym on this half of the Map I haven't been to...Petalburg Gym, home of my conniving father.
OOC: I already progressed past this in-game, I'll post it tomorrow, or whenever someone else would like it .

May 16, 12 at 3:17pm ^re: Hide Yo Kidz, Hide Yo Wife! Phil's Nuzlocke of Emerald
Apologies to my "anonymous readers", I have been a bit busy with finals and schoolwork, as well as having a sorta "writer's block" for this, so I haven't been posting for some time. I'm finally over it all, so here is the long-awaited episode of Phil vs Norman!
Update 6: Fighting For a Cause...
Phil's father was the next Leader, which made his mind play games on him. No remorse, beat his team with no remorse. Make sure he's sorry for cheating on his wife, make him feel pain. Not just Pokémon pain, but real, physical pain. Phil then went to the PC box in the nearby Pokécenter in Fallarbor, and deposited one key member of his team. Cornell would sadly leave the team for a temporary time at the moment, as Phil was prepared to run through the gauntlet of Route 114 to Rustboro City, to revive the Claw Fossil for a new team member.
*5 minutes of riding through caves, grass, and ledges later*
At last, Phil arrived at Rustboro, and went directly to the Devon Corporation's second floor, to find a researcher who was steadily working on a device to resurrect Pokémon from fossils. Phil volunteered his own fossil, and was glad to hear the operation was a success, with Anorith being the resulting Pokémon. "Armando" would be the new team member who will replace the somewhat popular choice of Cornell.
Armando was at Lv 20 upon resurrection, so Phil chose to grind him up to a respectable level to achieve a moderate amount of success against the Normal-typed Gym his father ran. Soon, after numerous catches of Magikarp and Goldeen (Thanks Old Rod ), Armando had a valuable move in Metal Claw, as well as a respectable level in Lv 26, a very key ability in Battle Armor (Blocks critical hits) and a reasonably well 58 Attack stat. It was finally time to go back and take down the fortress housing his motivation.
Phil talked to the Gym attendant, who explained what the multitude of doors were for in the Gym. He explained that after one door was opened, there would be a Trainer excelling in such a talent (Accuracy, OHKO, etc.) Once said Trainer was defeated, another set of doors would unlock, showing an additional tier of opponents. This cycle continues until the door to the Gym leader was revealed.
Phil thanked the man, then continued into the "Confusion" room, revealing a trainer excelling in the pathetic use of Spinda. Zygi would be my backbone on this trainer, as he would flinch the weak rabbit in the red, and after a third Headbutt (Trainer used a Hyper Potion before my second), the weak ecuse of a Normal-type was defeated. Next came the Strength room, where Ad-Rock's display of defense would shine through. It really did, as Ad-Rock's multiple layers of resistance to Normal paid off against a Zangoose and its Slash. Numerous rooms later, through varying use of Ad-Rock, Zygi, and even Wally found his way into one room, all that stood between Phil and a badge was Norman.
After the defeat of those Trainers, Phil thought it'd be a brilliant idea to heal pre-Norman, as he knew it would be a difficult fight. He planned for Zygi to come out first against a Teeter-Dancing Spinda, hopefully flinch it, force Norm to use a Hyper Potion, Headbutt it twice more, and put it to its end. Next, he would plot to use Wally and his useful Protect to stall Norm's Slaking. He even gave Wally a Leppa Berry in case the PP for Protect ran out. he figured with the use of a Hyper Potion on the giant Slaking, that Protect would be whittled down to near nil in terms of PP. Once the giant was slayed, he planned up use Ad-Rock as much as possible, and if Ad-Rock was nearing fainting, to switch with Armando's semi-resistance to Normal attacks.
Little did Phil know, his plan wouldn't be perfect...
as Phil entered the Leader's room, he caught a glimpse of Norman and Gabby, the reporter. It seemed as though Norm had sneaked out part of Phil's roster from Gabby, which could possibly ruin Phil's entire plot. Phil interrupted the couple as soon as he entered, and confronted Norm on his scandalous ways.
"You said you wouldn't do this again, not in another region, not in another city or town, not ever again. Why? Why did you do this to us again? You betrayed Mom! You betrayed me! It's over Norm, and I will reveal it to Mom once I win."
"Tch..." Norm responded hastily. "You think that you're hot
The battle was on. Spinda vs Zygi.
"Headbutt, Zygs!" The brown and white ferret responded quickly with a vicious stab of its skull to the gut of the red and white rabbit.
"Spinda, Teeter Dance now!" Norm demanded, as the Spinda looked as if it would flinch. However, the bunny jumped up, and did a dizzying dance that left Zygi's eyes in a tissy.
Norm quickly fed his Spinda a Hyper Potion, which really ticked Phil off, yelling "Wimp!" "Son," Norm said, "It's a part of the game. Face it."
"Zygi, another Headbutt!" Phil yelled, as the ferret looked like it was near hitting itself. The ferret responded mightily with another vicious blow to the gut.
Once more, Phil commanded for a final Headbutt, which surprisingly went his way. 3 hits, 3 Headbutts, no damage to Zygi.
Now was the pain, as the cursed Slaking came out to play. Phil responded by withdrawing Zygi and sending out Wally, for what he saw would be the longest duel yet.
Phil fought through the Slaking and Norm's use of a Hyper Potion with his planned Protect + Water Gun plan. It succeeded to perfection, as Facade was useless, Protect's PP was restored after Norman threw in the Hyper Potion, and Water Gun accomplished the job easily.
Vigoroth was next, which led Phil to withdraw Wally and send out Ad-Rock for a fierce war of offense vs defense. In the end, Phil's little head-knocker succeeded in clocking the orangatang, and lastly came Norman's little ferret of a Linoone vs Ad-Rock.
Phil thought it ended up perfectly, but it almost went into disaster, as the Linoone sent a sharp Headbutt at the eye of Ad-Rock, nearly fainting the creature, leaving it with a scary 7HP. Instead, Phil opted to swap Ad-Rock with Armando to seal the deal with a Metal Claw.
"It's all over, do you regret your infidelity now you scumbag?" Phil screamed.
Norman chuckled. "What infidelity?"
Phil paused, with a blank look on his face.
"Your mother and I divorced when you arrived at Littleroot, don't you see? She had you ride in the back of the truck because she didn't want you to see her in pain. She wanted you to go over to the neighbor's to hide her self-wallow."
Phil was in abhor. "This whole time...You weren't even married? You were single? My whole journey was to stop that..." Phil's mind faded away, as Wally's father Walton rushed in.
"Norman! Just who I wanted to see! Oh! Excellent! Phil, I need to see you instantly! Now! Come! Sorry Norman, you can have him back! This is urgent!"
All the while Walton talked wonders about young Wally's health, Phil was staring into oblivion, just thinking of how his journey's plan had gone to hell for him. This whole journey..It's pointless now. Mom knew, Dad knew, Gabby knew, everyone probably knew...Except me. I need to release my team, tell them the journey was pointless... Walton continued his chatter, then handed Phil the bright blue disc for teaching Pokémon how to Surf. "Thanks Walton, I promise Wally won't be hurt."
Later on, following his retrieval of items from the Gym, Phil camped out at the Pokécenter in Petalburg, and went upstairs, to the normal meeting room with his team.
"Guys, this whole journey was a pointless dead-end. I'm releasing you all-"
"PHIL, you WILL NOT release your Pokémon! No!"
It was Norman, who heard the chatter from the mounted phone downstairs.
"You've come this far, just alone on the assumption that I was cheating on your mother? How amazing, yet you are going to give up because this assumption ended up being false? Now, that's not amazing, that's juvenile."
"You're destined for greater things," called out a strong voice. Gordon walked up, and it surprised both Phil and Norman. "Norman, you've raised an excellent young man in Phil, and Phil, you've raised an excellent friend in me. Remember when someone close to us said you're destined for greater things? That was Cornell. He was right. I think we can go all the way to the top."
"Yes, yes you can, Phil," Norman added. "Just because your original motivation has ended once finding out the facts, doesn't mean your whole journey you've taken has to end with it. Keep on going, your next challenge is Winona in Fortree City. She's a good bit stronger than I am, but I have faith you can beat her."
And so it was destiny.
Next update will probably be tomorrow or Friday.
I'd also like some input, whether this invisible audience likes the "comedic" portion of this, including, but not limited to the striked cussing, sexual innuendos, and such. Or do you prefer the drama, the storyline that I've been sticking with for a good two or three episodes. Please, if you want your voice to be heard, send me a PM or post here.

Update 7: Rock 'N Shock
Following the defeat of Norman, the acquisition of Surf, and the intricate conversation post-battle, I was ready to continue through to the next area. But first, someone was in need of help: Wattson, the old guy with annoying Electric-types. He was in dire need of a hero to shut off his generators on this "New Mauville" area. I honestly thought Why don't you ride on a Linoone that you probably own that has Surf and Shock Wave, then shut it off yoursellf, geezer. But after thinking that, I figured I'd score a free Electrip-type Pokémon from it. So I gladly accepted the situation.
Surfing over, I got nothing but annoying Tentacool, plus, it was a repeat of the route, so no big deal. Finally, after 5 seconds of surfing, we made it to a small Rocket-like hideout. Was Wattson plotting world domination? Probably, that crazy old guy!
I walked in, ran halfway to the second floor switch and a Voltorb appears (Dammit, wanted Magnemite). Regardless, I sent out Gordon, used Leaf Blade to kill off a good chunk of HP, then caught the PokéBall in a Pokéball[/xzibit moment]. I nicknamed him "The Hammer", because when the little demon drops, it's on a mission from hell, main target being evil Flying and Water-types.
I further continued through the small evil hideout, collected the goodies I could find, then stepped on the giant red floor switch, which killed the power. Pretty pathetic system for world domination IMO, anyone could disarm it, even Magikarp !
I exited, finished running & killing Voltorbs disguised as items, then left to get my free Thunderbolt TM.. Guess ending a bad world-domination plan has its perks.
Anyways, I cross the river from Mauville to some other route, and I face the reporter and cameraman again. I tell them "Rock-Hard" as their one-liner, laugh into the camera, yell "Trollolololol!" and run into the grassy area...Until some guy hops a ledge and interrupts me. Oh, it's Steven, he's a bro. He's impressed I made it this far, as am I, then flies off on his Pokémon like a boss, just to make me very jelly.
I run north into the grass of Route 118, I find a wild Electrike, I do the same old, same old, weaken the turd, throw a Pokéball, and he became mine. "Dr. Shocks" is now in my PC box, but I'll possibly remove it for Winona.
I fight a bunch of loser Bug Catchers in this "Mimic Circle" in Route 119, deceiving their terrible plan of trolling me, but one of these noobs almost one-shot Ad-Rock with a Bubblebeam, which pissed me off quite a bit. I swapped to Dustox, then game over for the damn Surskit. I finished the rest of the Bug Catchers, go back to Mauville, heal up, come back to the ugly route (someone needs to mow that grass, seriously), then fought and killed the two Pokémon Rangers by the bridge. I finish those show-offs off, get a free Berry, continue onward. I get a new Pokémon, it's an Oddish lmao (not a shiny), I catch her, call her "Wildflower", she's such a wild child in my box, and we continue on.
I continue on the route, killing wannabe Ninjas and Bird lovers, then as I'm about to cross a bridge, the adorable sex icon May shows up. She wants to battle, and I agree. Gordon vs Wailmer, Gordon dishes out a simple Leaf Blade, slicing and dicing the semi-large whale into sushi for everyone. Breeloom (I believe) vs Wendy, Wendy gets the free 4x advantage by way of Gust, eliminating the giant boxing plant. Finally, the damn Combusken vs Wally, and Wally does a Surf, and the fire bird is drenched in waste water from Wally. Match over, May wants to make babies with me.
I walked in, saw some short kid, told him I'll take care of some pirates, healed on the bed, then let Gordon loose on the Aqua crew. Poochyena? take a Fury Cutter or two! Carvanha? Take a Fury Cutter, then an extra side of Absorb for free HP's for Gordon! Other choices? Leaf Blade you get with a possible addition of Quick Attack!
By the time I'm done, I finish up the annoying mobsters, I kill the Admin's Mightyena and Golbat, and a lookout Grunt blasts in, telling Archie that Team Magma was spotted heading to Mt. Pyre. Funny, I thought they were supposed to block the bridge...Guess they aren't that great as blockades lmao.
The scientists thank me, give me Castform, I name her "Thermama" because she's weather-related and a cutie. I hit the bed on the first floor once more, and continue across the bridge.
I beat down a few of the loser Ninjas and Bird people, then head into Fortree City.
Pretty amazing town, all trees and stuff, I'm pretty jealous of it. I head towards the Gym, but something's blocking it, so I can't get there yet. I decide to advance even further through to Route 120, only to find the damn reporter and cameraman once more. This time, their Magneton and Loudred were a bit more a challenge, both at Lv 30. Eventually, Gordon and Ad-Rock dispatch the duo, I gave them the one-liner of "Surprise", and walk away. As I attempt to cross the bridge to another area, I spotted Steven zoning out, in his own epic little world.
He tells me he has a scope that reveals "invisible" Pokémon, and he wanted to show me it. I accept, and I forgot, but it was my first encounter of the route . Hi Keckleon, I weaken it, as it's better than nothing, catch it with the PokéBall once more (This damn ball will fail more than once some day lol), and nickname her "Camille", like a female-named chameleon. Steven gives me the scope, and I go around, fighting the remaining Keckleons that are around the area, including the one blocking Fortree Gym. I withdraw The Hammer, deposit Wendy (Sorry, you are extremely useless in this Gym) and start grinding him up, starting with the goons in Route 119, mainly, that dumb wannabe Ninja disguised as a tree. Koffing comes out, and i expect a Selfdestruct to ruin my life completely. I swap out The Hammer for Ad-Rock, get only a Tackle, then proceed to try to kill it. The damn thing finally selfdestructs, then I bring The Hammer back. Another *bleep*ing Koffing. These things suck when they have Levitate . I once more swap in Ad-Rock, let him take another nearly-harmless Selfdestruct, and heal again. Then, I go back to the Fortree Gym, let The Hammer take out some birds with backup ready from Wally and Ad-Rock. I let Ad-Rock assist a few times as well, because he was on the verge of evolving (finally) into a Lairon. he did on a Swablu, then I let The Hammer take some more solo Swablu's, assisting when needed. Anyways, that's as far as I've gotten for now.
If people want to know the levels and moves of the team & box, feel free to ask, and I'll post in either the first post, an edit, or in the next episode. Thanks anonymous readers!

Update 8: Do You Believe in Miracles?
After realizing the potential threat Winona’s team (Specifically, the EQ Altaria), I decided to grind up the two Electric-types ASAP, before I received a whooping and lost crucial members. Since I had a whole new route to discover, I figured why not use that chance to train my team while eliminating future Trainers? I did so, defeating Bird Trainers, Cool Trainers, Poké Breeders, Poké Fans, and duos.
By the time I finished sweeping teams with the shocking (pun intended) duo of Dr. Shocks (now a Manectric, @ Lv 30, about one good Poké kill from 31) and The Hammer (now an Electrode, @ Lv 31). I also defeated the attractive lust May at the Lilycove Poké Mall, in which she
By this time, all of the previous Trainers had been defeated, and I was face-to-face with one of the most strenuous battles I may face in the entire game.
To begin, I sent out Dr. Shocks, ready and prepared to defile the Swablu that was sent out. Dr. Shocks used a Spark, and to my disappointment, it did not OHKO the tiny rat bird. In response, the Swablu pulled out a wild card move I never expected to be used:
This 1v1 was timed therefore. Winona used a Hyper Potion to heal her kamikaze Swablu, while I chose to let Dr. Shocks let out another Spark, this time doing the same damage, putting the bird in the red. Both members dropped to 2 on Perish Count.
Quick Attack. No more Swablu. Dr. Shocks leveled to 31, learned Roar, replacing Leer. Do I swap? Do I let Dr. Shocks take the fall? Do I let Dr. Shocks Roar out the Altaria?
Zygi is the swap, the demon of my nightmares, Lv 33 Altaria is the opposition. This was going to be crucial.
Zygi struck first with a Headbutt. ¼ health down, Altaria flinches. A dream scenario.
Zygi struck again with the Headbutt, so close to the Red Zone, the demon uses its Oran Berry. It also used Dragon Dance. This is now a serious issue…
Hyper Potion…*bleep*…Zygi uses Headbutt, ¼ down again.
Altaria uses EQ, Zygi’s nearly down ½ HP. Shit… Zygi hits with Headbutt, the rat is down to 1/3 HP.
Altaria blasts another EQ, this time, it’s serious. Zygi holds on by 12HP.
Altaria Fainted. HOLY SHIT!@!@!@!BHGDGHKGBVHGHBVJJADHVKJ!@!@!@!
Next was Skarmory, you’re up Hammer.
The Hammer struck first, one Spark, OHKO. No More Skarm. Things are looking up quickly.
Tropius was next. Hammer strikes again with Spark, paralysis, about 1/5 damage done to the dinosaur.
It was only charging an attack of doom.
Sonicboom, now! Down to under half.
Solarbeam hits. 42/80HP left of Hammer.
Spark again! No luck, still in the yellow. It charges up once more.
Another Spark. Still not dead. Solarbeam hits. Hammer is at a shocking 6/80HP left.
Dino down. One left. Who’s the choice, Phil?
The choice was Dr. Shocks.
In my mind, I never knew how Perish Song and its count worked. So, I assumed if I was at 1 following finishing off the Swablu, I would have one shot to down the Pelliper. If it used Protect, bye-bye Dr. Shocks.
I took the risk anyways. I clicked the button nervously, barely looking at the GBA screen (seriously, no joking here).
Pelliper used Protect. Dr. Shocks’ attack was unsuccessful. I knew it was over for my newly-made friend.
He survived. Apparently, if you switch before Perish Count ends completely, the count is removed.
I was relieved. Stupidly relieved. So relieved that I frantically clicked the “A” button on Spark, only to be Protected again. Finally, the Spark went through. OHKO.
I did it. Miraculous.
I immediately hurried through the dialogue to save and shut off my GBA.
Dr. Shocks did end up without any damage done to him, a but surprising. The Hammer was 6/80 after three straight Solarbeams hit it. Zygi took two (or possibly three, can't remember, adrenaline did that ) but ended up with 12HP left. Craziest NPC fight I've ever been in IMO.

Had I known you had a Nuzlocke going, I'd have read from the start. Fan me, and I'll catch up starting Wednesday. Got Thursday - Tuesday off from school. Use those days to read this.

Woah, the first non-me comment in a while .
MegaBassMan I'll add you to the newly-created list as soon as I finish. Might be a while before I take on Tate & Liza, Xatu + Claydol and Solrock + Lunatone doesn't sound great for my team. So Sheba (Poochyena from the first 6 hours) will probably be trained up a fair amount to take some slack off my team.
Update 9: History: The Present's Greatest Friend...
Previously, we left off of the journey by defeating Winona and her
I walk out of the Gym after that miracle, and little do I know, some pedophile called me. Scott, that creeper guy, he's impressed with my power, and thinks I can go "all the way!" (yes, innuendo intended) I shake it off, hang up, and proceed onwards back down to Lilycove City. Oh wait, I forgot, I had HM02 Fly! Wally gets it since a damn Dustox (Wendy) can't learn it, nor can a Zubat (Zoolander), so the big ol' pelican had to be the HM slave once more (previously learning Surf following the defeat of Norman).
Wally learns Fly, and we move onward to Lilycove, and I attempt to surf across the ocean for a bit, but a crowd of Wailmer were in my way. I talked to the pirate who was orchestrating this chaos, and he is trying to teach Wailmer to jump through hoops. Good luck dude.
Now that I think about it, I heard a rumor that the dastardly Team Magma was headed towards Mt. Pyre. Guess we'll head on over.
After healing up and running through some minor grass, I finally arrive at the pier that leads to Mt. Pyre. I talk to the lady, she chuckes and says "Nobody comes out of Mt. Pyre alive and tells about it!" I call bs, bet her 100 Pokébucks, and I head on over. I face a few Tentacools on the way there, then finally land on the patch that leads to the tower portion.
There's the two paths, one that leads to the exterior of the mountain, and the tower staircase. But before I could make a decision, I was in conflict with a wild Shuppet. Frst encounter told me that I should try and catch it. I did, but Dr. Shocks didn't quite agree with the idea, so he killed it with one Spark. I raged, then went to the mountain path.
Fortunately, since the mountain path has a few patches of grass, I could maybe get vengeance. Vengeance was received when a Shuppet appeared (This falls under the multiple floors clause, it can be in the same place IF and only IF the place has multiple floors, and is the first encounter of the floor). I swapped out Doc for Gordon, let it use Absorb a couple times, then caught the small ghost. I named her "Maryonette" (I love wordplaying!) and proceeded to claim hidden items before finding the top peak of Mt. Pyre.
Aqua really didn't improve at all since I last battled them at the Weather place. Instead, my team got significantly better. Armando was my lead man for this mission, and a few Metal Claws downed the wimpy Zubats and Poochyenas standing in my way. Too bad there were only like 3 grunts, so it was almost like a waste of time. However, the old guy on the mountain gave me a Magma symbol, making me a member of those losers (for the time being). I decided to look into some past events for help.
I remember I fought some guy at the middle of Jagged Pass who was standing by a wall, a bit suspiciously, so perhaps it could be involved there? I headed back to Lavaridge (without going back to that idiot woman who I bet, damn her...), took the cable cars up (WEEEEEEE) and started walking down some ledges. When I got near the spot where I fought that loser, the ground started shaking. Instead of the wall I saw before, a nice, large cave entrance was now in its way. Sweet hiding spot bros, teach me to hide & seek please?
I walk in, first unknown poke = only capture attempt, and sadly, Graveler went down quickly thanks to Gordon. I put him at the back of the party because of it. I decided against even wanting to catch anything here afterwards because the place overall wasn't that great (Torkoal, Geodude + Graveler, that's about it) and I was on a mission to find Maxie.
Unfortunately, I realized I needed to teach somebody Strength too, and unfortunately for Dr. Shocks, it was him. Now, we can progress a little more...into more weak Magma grunts. Armando's Metal Claw did some effective damage, then I remembered Gordon was close to an evolution level. Then I realized Gordon gets his ass handed to him by Zubats, so Armando it was.
I run around the general gamut of searching for Maxie, defeating 90% of the Magma grunts in my way, then finally reaching Maxie after finding a coincidental Max Revive (which is useless in a Nuzlocke) a small trip away from him. I investigate the area by him, and he, as always, is oblivious to me, so I can do stupid things to his terrible hair and costume while he's focused on an inanimate pool of lava and a patch of red and gunmetal grey land.
Finally, after modifying his ugly overworld sprite with graffiti and littering his comrades with Armando, I talk to him, except he doesn't talk to me, he talks to the inanimate patch of land. Then he pulls out some Blue Orb that apparently, really isn't his, and the former inanimate land starts moving.
All of a sudden, this giant red and grey thing starts moving! OHMAHGAWSHIT'SAPOKEMANZ!@!@!RUNS!@!@
The giant moves right toward Maxie, then literally flies through the roof, leaving no evidence of destruction behind it (hax much?), then Maxie starts panicking. He then turns his head 90 degrees to his left, and finally spots me. Only took you like a half-hour to see I was watching you the whole time.
He gets really pissed off for me "meddling" into his affairs, then I say "Battle me noob, I'll show you who meddles in affairs!" He accepts, game on.
Mightyena vs Gordon. Shit, the wolf has Intimidate, so I withdraw it quickly, so Zygi goes out instead. The damned wolf used Swagger (as if it had any, wolves can't swag like a ferret ) But as I said, Zygi's got sick swag, used Headbutt 4 times straight, failing once (when Maxie used a Super Potion at 1/4 HP left on the Mightyena) and made the wolf flinch once. Soon enough, the wolf goes down, and decision time is up..Camerupt vs whom. I chose Wally, who somehow pulls out a brilliant OHKO of a Camerupt at Lv 39 (when Wally is Lv 31, it's brilliant), then Maxie is down to one Poké, his annoying Golbat. I send out Armando, hoping it can do some sort of effectivity against the rat with wings. I was kinda right, kinda wrong. Armando managed to make Maxie use his second Super Potion, but was in the yellow and confused a short bit later. I brought Ad-Rock out, and the bat confuses him, puts him in the yellow, then I send Zygi back out. Zygi manages to sink the devil with a couple sharp Headbutts, and I laugh at the old guy with a bad dream.
He storms off, not saying a word, then I spend like 20 minutes exiting the cave (which led me in a circle for half the time lol). I finally exit the cave, then think that if Magma is up to something suspicious, their arch-rivals at Aqua must be doing something equally suspicious. I again think to the past. There was a stupid amount of Aqua members at the Slateport City Museum earlier, there has to be *some* sort of relation there.
Wally flies the crew and I to Slateport, and I walk north of the Pokécenter to see a huge interview going down outside the Shipyard. I ask Captain Stern if he's elected president or something, but he's too arrogant and stuck-up to politely answer my question. I walk up to the front to confront him, and he talks to me like he's my best friend. All of a sudden, the PA system starts going off behind everyone.
Skip to 1:00 to 1:35 for the lols to Captain Stern, note, this is NOT me or my video, thanks to Draven for the video.
So to sum that up, Captain Stern acts like the greatest thing since sliced bread, Archie and Admin Matt are chilling at the Harbor, yell out with megaphones they are in your harborz, stealing your subz, flip into the water, and get away in the coolest way yet.
They definitely are the better of the two gangs, I'm pretty jealous of their awesomeness.
But I have to do what I have to do. I remembered it was a Pirate who was "training Wailmer to jump through hoops" from earlier in this update, so back to Lilycove I go.
Wailmer went missing? OMG, they flew in the skies?! Bye Wailmer! Anyways, the entrance to some cave is open, and I bring Wally and co. inside to take care of business.
I wipe out the first guy who's running in circles, he says he did his job, I say he sucks, and move on.
Warp panels. I do not like them, there's very few things I hate more than warp panels in Pokémon games. So I hop through these things, let Armando take a break from killing things, and let Zygi and Gordon kill Carvanha and Poochyenas with ease. I get to a room with four balls.
There is another thing I hate more than warp panels. Electrodes hidden as Pokéballs. So, because I knew there were Electrodes, Ad-Rock lead for my team while I chose both Electrodes in the first two attempts of searching (just my luck). One used Selfdestruct, so Ad-Rock lost 1/4 health, but I ran from the other. So it left two cool items, a Master Ball and a Nugget.
I teleported back with the warp panels, then killed off a bunch of loser grunts, until I reached the same Aqua Admin who was with Archie. I confronted him, told him his exit of the Slateport Harbor was the best thing in Pokémon since Gary
Matt chuckled and said that he stalled Archie enough so he can get away in the submarine, and as I was about to kick him into the water, he did the same awesome jump into a moving submarina as he did before. Very jealous man, very jealous..
I exited the lame hideout, healed at Lilycove, then sailed across the seas, killing 3 Trainers who stood in my way with their Tentacools and Wailmers. I finally reached Mossdeep, and I learned there was a Space Station in town. Sick, Space warfare bros, let's fight Team Rocket IN SPACE! I bet they would win there lmao. But anyhow, I went there first, and I saw Steven Stone was inside. I talked to him, and he seemed concerned about a folder on a table. I took a peek, and this literally was one of the top 3 funniest things in this game (Aqua stealing the sub is a bit lower than this beauty).
If you can't read it...
"To the staff of the Space Center:
How are you? We are doing fine.
We will soon visit you to take your rocket fuel.
Please don't try to stop us. We will take the fuel no matter what.
Let there be more land."
That is a brilliant threat letter, even featuring politeness! Their mothers sure taught them some manners in throwing out threats.
Anyhow, I see it, I chuckle, I get a free Sun Stone from some old guy there, I leave there, find a fisherman in a hidden house who gives me a wicked awesome Super Rod, and I start training on Wailmer and Sharpedo to train all of my team members for Liza and Tate (AKA Annoying and Annoying). So that's as far as I've gotten for the time being. I'll edit in my team's levels, moves, and time played (26 hours from what I saw last) in my first post and this post.
Sk1llsEdit: Edited the first post team and box, the current team will be edited in here as well. If info required about any members in the box, feel free to question via PM or post.
In addition, I also did not inform the readers that I traveled on the Abandoned Ship area (Route 108), defeated Trainers there, as well as captured a box member, Ragine, a Lv 10 Magikarp. I apologize for the absence of that info following Norman's battle.
Gordon (Sceptile) - Lv 36
Wally (Pelliper) - Lv 32
A-Rock (Lairon) - Lv 34
Zygi (Linoone) - Lv 34
Dr. Shocks (Manectric) - Lv 32
Armando (Anorith) - Lv 38

Outside Story note: I apologize to lurkers (and MBM) for the extreme lack of updates, I kinda lost interest for a bit, as well as definitely not feeling well for a good stretch of time, so I'll give you a small, condensed episode this time around, and since it took a while to crank only a Gym out, I'll get another episode out within the week. So without any further...
Update 10: Dual Duel
Immediately after reading the note left by the dear Magma leaders, I rushed outside to increase my bulk on my team. Thanks to the nice resident Fisherman of Mossdeep, I acquired a Super Rod, as well as a King's Rock, which I attempted to use, but it actually didn't activate during my important Gym battle. However, I trained three main Pokémon before even attempting to walk into the Gym.
One was Armando, one of the most useful additions to the team, with a dual Rock/Bug typing. I flew back to Lilycove so the tiny bug could scratch its way through Oddish, Gloom, Manectric, and Mightyena, until it finally reached the all-important Lv 40. Armando then became a man by evolving, but also became extra slow. I realized in a double battle that one Pokémon would not save my team, so with that, I began to train my second useful teammate: Gordon.
Gordon was a different character, where he would need some higher, more expansive Pokés to gain quality xp. This was easily done once I flew back to Mossdeep and started reeling in several Sharpedo and Wailmer. In addition, I withdrew Sheba (The Poochyena from centuries ago) and threw Armando in the Box for the time being. I gave the pup an EXP Share, that way, I could use the early acquisition to my advantage.
Several Sharpedo and Wailmer later...
Gordon grew a fantastic 3 levels, booting his level up to 39, and Sheba eventually became an astonishing 29 (this is, from 14), became a Mightyena, and almost would have made it into the first two, but it was not only weak, but very slow.
I further trained Dr Shocks and Zygi, Dr Shocks going up to 35, while Zygi gained a single level, while declining to learn Covet. Wally ultimately became dead weight for the time being, and The Hammer was his grounded equivalent, both gaining no levels, but just along for the ride.
In addition, I also considered leveling MaryOnette, being a monotyped Ghost, but ultimately ended up not, still thinking about eventually using it in the E4 though.
Anyways, after at least 3-5 hours of grinding numerous Pokés via Super Rod, I felt my team was set for combat. I walked in, let Sheba take down a boatload of Psychics, and nearly get its rear-end handed to it by a Meditite, but ended up beating the majority with just Sheba, with some aid from Gordon. Then there were Tate and Liza...
I did extreme research on these two (all four Pokés moveset) and wanted to prevent any casualties if possible. I came up with the solution. Xatu had no Flying moves, despite being a damn bird. It could bulk up its Spec Att and Def, but would ultimately end up being close to nonexistent in the battle. My goal was to end Claydol as quick as possible, with the use of Gordon's Leaf Blade. STAB + Super Effective hit should do plenty to a clay rock. Next would be Solrock, the primary hell-raiser of the whole team. It could bring up the sun and end life for any of my Pokés, including Armando and Gordon. Finally, there was the meat-shield, Lunatone. That crescent would not only take the attacks, but would put up the barrier to weaken my attacks, as well as render my attacks possibly useless with Hypnosis. If I got put asleep while Solrock was out, I might as well kiss the match goodbye.
I led with Gordon and Zygi, hoping for two extremely hopeful flinches (by giving Gordon King's Rock). However, I got luckier than I expected. I didn't just render Claydol useless, I OHKO'd it via Leaf Blade. As for Xatu vs Zygi's Headbutt, it was a different story, which Zygi took out 1/3 of its HP, while the bird used Calm Mind, looking prepared to sweep the team. The duo then sent out the special sweeper of the two, Solrock.
Now it was serious time, again, same commands, Gordon to use Leaf Blade on the sun-shaped rock, while Zygi would hope to bash another good Headbutt into the still bird. No flinches, and instead, Xatu was down to 1/3, still in yellow, while Solrock was near the red, then almost into the green following the Sitrus berry used...Xatu set up the sweeper with Sunny Day, but Solrock then decided to use Sunny Day. I really had no words to say about it, but I was in complete amazement that something that stupid would happen. Due to both of my Pokémon getting a free turn, Zygi downed the bird with a third uncontested Headbutt, sending it to the grave, while Gordon continued on a tear, destroying the rock with no issue. There was only one obstacle. The Moon
Lunatone was in a fight destined for it to lose. And surely, it did. A 2-1 matchup against it, the odds of survival when Gordon can land a Super Effective hit with no effort, and Zygi with a Silk Scarf with STAB Headbutt, the odds of survival are slim to none.
As I pretty much stated, Zygi used Headbutt, barely denting the moonrock, while Gordon put a heavy hit onto the moon. Instead of taking the offensive, Tate and Liza figured that they had another two or three rounds before they would go down. They didn't, instead receiving another combo of Headbutt + Leaf Blade, ending the lone obstacle from receiving my seventh badge.
The twins were pretty mad, but I just chuckled, like I did when they both used Sunny Day on the same turn xD. I got Calm Mind as well, and that is the end of the small, condensed episode.
Magma vs The Space Station...
Aqua vs The World...
Phil vs Aqua...
And the next Gym Leader vs Phil...?
Note: I will cover ALL of those topics next update this week, so I will be advancing to at least the Pokémon League soon!
Gordon: Lv 38
Zygi: Lv 35
Sheba: Lv 29
Wally: Lv 33
Armando: Lv 40
Several others are in the Box, which can be found in the first post, although I won't list the moves of them, unless I use them next update.

And as promised, here is the next update, chock full of goodies...
Update 11: Dr. Hammertime!
Following the defeat of the twins, I headed to the PokéCenter to satisfy the PP's of Zygi and Gordon. While travling, Maxie's crew was debriefing on a mission to acquire the Rocket Fuel from the Space Center. It was obvious because they sent that awesome threat letter.
I walked south, and sure enough, Team Magma begins their climb into the Space Center. I walk east, again, Magma thugs. Finally, I get there...did they just teleport hax or something? Are they playing mind games with me? *walks in* Nope!
I put Sheba at the head of the pack to beat down the opposing weakling Poochyena, Zubats, and Baltoys sent out my way. Bite, Bite, Bite, Down, Down Down, goodbye Magma suckers. I face this fourth grunt who is blocking the stairs. I chat him up, he battles me, even though he's blocking stairs...really? Sheba downs the idiot's team, and he moves over, like a good
Right as I walk up the stairs, I am trapped by 3 Magma Grunts. I thought to myself...Why didn't Gamefreak put in Triple Battles in this generation, specfically, this exact scenario?! I shrugged, killed one of the Grunt's Mightyena with Sheba, another Baltoy downed by Sheba, and finally, Zubat down by Mightyena.
Soon enough, there was one Steven Stone, cornered by one loser and a semi-loser leader in Maxie. Maxie heard me coming, started squealing like a pig in mud, and Steven took the chance and threatened me at gunpoint to fight with him. I said w/e, chose Sheba, Wally, and Armando to team up with Steven's Metang, Skarmory, and Lairon.
At one point in the double battle, three of the four Pokés out were Mightyenas, with me eventually replacing Sheba (who had 1/4 original attack following two Intimidates) with Armando, who easily dispatched the two wolves, then switching once more to eliminate the Camerupt remaining on the Magma opposition.
We finally won, Maxie was stupid enough NOT to take the fuel, then decides to try and spoil Team Aqua's (in progress) plan. Steven thanks me, gives me the Dive HM, and I teach it to my rather lackluster HM Slave...Theodore, the Tentacool.
I heal up once more, Surf away into the sunset, and find Sootopolis City before setting out to break into Archie's plan myself. After finding the worst city in the game, I went out to find Pacifidlog Town, because I knew I'd have to go there for some odd reason. On the way, my bitty May called me, saying she saw some giant green Pokémon flying through the Sky around Pacifidlog. Coincidence, eh? I call her back afterwards, and she said that she would be amazed to see one legendary Pokémon, even though there are three of them.
Well, back to Pacifidlog searching...I found it, fought a bunch of pathetic Swimmers, Triathletes, Beauties, and the such, destroy their weak Water-types with The Hammer and Dr. Shocks, and finally, get back on track with finding Team Aqua.
I flew back once more to Sootopolis, swam for 2 seconds after surfacing outside of the city, dive again, and find the awful hiding spot of Team Aqua. So much for being the better of the two Teams -_-. Anyways, I surface, walk into the cave, take down the losers with Poochyenas and Zubats, and continue onto the cavern. Next room, a giant maze of Strength boulders. Push Push says Dr. Shocks, and I make my way to one of the cave exits. I end up in an odd Surfing current area, where I manage to trap myself once, then traced my way through after the failed attempt. After that, I navigate through the easy Strength boulder pattern of 1 boulder in front of 2, in front of 1, in front of 2, and in front of 3. Easy peasy, get through it, then face toe two Aqua Grunts on the other side just for kicks and giggles (and exp), and beat them handily.
Finally, I find my way into what looks like the polar opposite of Groudon's room, except this room also has a mist in there. I pick up the Earthquake TM, surely will be useful soon enough, and head towards the back of the cave. I look for the exit, because there's nothing in the damn pool, but I accidentally look up as if I were calling something, and Archie shows up, pissed as ever. He's spewing watery turd out of his mouth because he thinks I want to summon some uberlegendary Water-type, but all I wanted was an exit. He then challenges me, says that for his dream to be complete, I must be eliminated...Or you could have told me to look away, or told me where the damn exit is at least -_-.
The Hammer takes down a strong majority of the opposition, barring Mightyena, which Armando had no trouble with after letting The Hammer absorb the Intimidate. Archie loses, as usual, but says he has the tool to wake up this absent creature. Little do I know, something rises, and awhmahgawshitsapogeymanz!
It obviously liked the Red Orb Archie brought with him, then flew off as if the damn cave had a giant opening in it. Archie gets flustered because Kyogre flies off, blames me, then all of a sudden, Maxie runs in. Dude, you HATE Water, how the hell did you manage to find this place? You'd probably die in water if you touched it. But he walks in, those two numbskulls go at it for a while, then I'm automatically taken outside after a Grunt reports extreme rain. FINALLY!
I'm outside, with Maxie and Archie going around, thinking they weren't the one to blame, then Maxie puts the blame on me once more...FFFFUUUUUUU...And finally, they leave for Sootopolis.
As I'm about to Fly to Sootopolis, Steven Stone flies in from where I'm at. Dude, how the hell did YOU know where I was? Is there a "Phil-is-Here" emblem on the damn PokéNav Map? Really now, if he was able to Fly there, I should be able to as well. Anyways, he rambles on about me being involved in this somehow, and doesn't know what's up. He says to meet him up at Sootopolis, and I finally do so after I'm not interrupted by everyone.
I Fly there because I'm lazy, and shock here...The two polar opposite Pokés are fighting! Wow, what an amazing surprise, I would have thought they would take over the world together, being total bros. But guess not, so I Surf over to the Gym, where Maxie and Archie are crying like babies. Really sad that this 10-year old boy is more of a man than two middle-aged men. But then again, I beat them, so they have plenty to cry about.
I finish taunting those clowns, then Surf to the PokéMart side of
Steven tells me to go through the cave and find a sailor named Wallace. Why don't you? You had access to the cave, you could have just waltzed in, talked to this sailor, then situation resolved! But he throws me in there to survive the intense attacks of Lv 20 Zubats and Sableyes. I run through, and finally run into this sailor looking goofball. He says he's awesome and all, and mentions a third legendary Pokémon. Hey bro, May told me like 2 hours ago that there were THREE! So he asks me where do I think the third legend is.
Choices were Mt. Pyre, Cave of Origins, and Sky Pillar...Hmm, if memory serves me correct, we are in the Cave, so let's do that. He looks at me blankly, smacks me, then asks me again. I tell him Mt. Pyre to piss him off some more, and he responds with "I don't think that old lady would lie to us..." Kidding me? You're trusting the old lady over me, the person who beat Maxie and Archie? The guy who saved Steven? Finally, I decided to stop trolling Wallace, and said the Sky Pillar.
He gets an amazing idea like he thought of the damn place (well, he kinda did), and tells me to meet him there. I exit the cave, talk to Steven, he knows nothing about the Sky Pillar, yet he has a dad who owns the damn Devon Corp, that idiot...
I fly to Pacifidlog (good idea finding it earlier, huh?) and Surf to the Sky Pillar. I get there, walk through the door, ride my bike through the first floor, where Wallace surprised me by being in my face right as I walk through the opening. He tells me to hurry, yet he walks in slow-motion, then the rain starts at the area, and Wallace stops. Dude, do you want to be the hero? C'mon, let's go slowpoke! (pun not really intended) Then, we get back to "running" and all of a sudden, the ground starts shakin', the earth was quakin', and Wallace cried like a baby, gave me the key, and flew back to Sootopolis. God, what is with these babies and Sootopolis? -_-...
So I enter, kill the free Claydols and Golbats, let Dr. Shocks get free exp, then finally get to the near-top of the Sky Pillar, where there's a tricky spot that they want you to run through with the Mach Bike. I didn't fall for it, fell through the first one, then made it to the rooftop. I walk forward, readying my Escape Rope to lasso this thing.
Then, as I walk towards it, the head-like thing raises. Yellow emerges as the bright accent against the forest green. It opens its eyes. It screams out its cry, nods its head as if I told it to save the world, then flies off. I took the cue from the thing, and flew off on Wally, back to this stupid city where everything has to happen. and then cue the 4 minute cutscene of Rayquaza being holier than everything around it. The dragon keeps screaming its cry, pushing both of those two things back to their respecive areas, and the cutscene finally ends. The weather straightens out, and I regain control to do whatever.
I Surf over to the Gym, talk to those two losers named Archie and Maxie, they are crying like the babies they were, and go off to return the stolen Orbs. I talk to Steven, who tells me to talk to Wallace about that epic crying job by him. I laugh at him, he gets pissed, throws the disc he used as a reward at me, and I get the last HM needed for Theodore the Slave Poké, Waterfall.
I head inside the Gym, following the very simplistic pattern of one-step ice floors that I literally had visually memorized, and made it to Juan in about a minute and a half. I fell through the ice just to kill the Trainers for free exp, training both Dr. Shocks and The Hammer with said Trainers. The Dr, reached 40, while The Hammer hit 38, and I healed up one last time before facing Juan.
I go back, make it through the ice floors in a minute and a half again, and proceed to begin the fight with Wallace's mentor in Pokémon and terrible fashion. I lead with The Hammer, being the Speed Racer of my team, while he leads with Luvdisc. I put the turd in the deep yellow, paralyzing the twerp, while it confused me with Sweet Kiss. Juan used a Hyper Potion, while Hammer hit itself like a dummy. Hammer paid back the stupidity with a Spark putting the nuance thing in the red, while Luvdisc was paralyzed. Hammer broke out of confusion, and finished off the stupid thing.
Whiscash, my favorite Pokémon to face. I called out Gordon, who took an Earthquake with relative ease. Next came a Leaf Blade, which OHKO'd the 4x weak mopey-dopey fish.
Next was Sealeo, which I brought Hammer back out to face. Spark, about 60% damage + paralysis. Sealeo put a nice dent into Hammer with Aurora Beam, but Hammer finished off the seal with another Spark, and then came Crawdaunt.
At this time, I would like to mention I brought an unexpected team member with me (HM Slave Theodore the Tentacool). Not to kind of break my rules, but the HM Slave really had nothing to use, so I used him as a meat shield to heal up Hammer. I let the stupid jellyfish die (readers, please make your position relevant...should I release my HM Slave now, or is this legal?), then sent out Hammer, ready to roll out another set of Sparks. Two Sparks, and down the crawfish went.
Finally, there was Kingdra. You may be wondering why the title of this update mentions Hammer AND Dr. Shocks, yet Dr. Shocks didn't participate yet. Well, this is why. Dr. Shocks is a tank in Defense and Sp. Def compared to Hammer, and the only thing Hammer has going is Speed.
So Dr. Shocks took the field against an opposing Dragon five levels higher than him. This didn't deter Doc, as the first Spark dropped, it paralyzed the Dragon. The seahorse used Double Team, acting all tough, until I decided to become trollmaster and use my favored Paraflinch method, by using Bite.
Flinch after the first Bite, and an amazing thing happened the second Bite that I would never have guessed would happen...A critical hit Bite that KO'd the seahorse before it could launch a ChestoRest turn.
Juan was amazed, pissed, and excited, and it looked like he was going to take his clothes off, but I took the Badge and TM, then ran away and called Chris Hansen. I immediately saved afterwards, and turned off the GBA in pleasure. Next Stop...Pokémon League.
If readers think I was wrong in using Theodore the HM Slave in battle, I will release him and teach someone else Waterfall if need be. Your input is valuable.

Hi there FluffySk1lls! I've been following this thing every now and then and I find it pretty entertaining to read. Your writing style is nice and it's not as long as to bore the reader. So you can add me to the notif list in case you plan on updating again.
Oh, and I don't really see how does the Tentacool thing break the rules... I mean, It's a bit cruel to use a pokémon as a meat shield, and you'll have to release him as the rules state, but other than that it's perfectly fine.
