"Wow this lady is a clean freak..." I thought to my self. "So, are you a patron?" I asked looking all cute and innocent so she would feel bad for knocking me down.
"Yes, I am the Grass patron. Obviously you are the bug type." She answered, obviously sorry for what she did.
"Well, the other patrons went to the Celestic cave if that's what your looking for." I told her, she seemed to be very stuck up. Kinda of a snob but, she was nice enough.
She smiled softly, "Thank you for telling me, I'll be going now." She started to walk away.
"W- WAIT!" I yelled running to catch up with her, "I was on my way there anyway, c-can I come with you?"

OOC: Didn't want to bring it too far along, it's not my best writing... But I'm tired, so oh well. It should probably take a long time to get there since the fight has to be done by then.

"Nnng." I moaned realizeing how numb i felt."You okay lucario?" I asked. The poor pokemon passed out i realized. "Ow!" I yelled trying to get up. "Anyone?"I weakly called. Silence. "Hmph no one here realy likes me that much so i guess thats why." I remarked. "Yow!" I exclaimed. "Stupid freaking darts!" I yelled. "Hey whos she?" I whispered. Looks like she took a beating in there. I thought. "Hello?" I said weakly. "Can you help me out here please?" I asked.
"Lu-car." Muttered lucario.

I am really questioning why he's there. I mean, I clearly stated I came alone as a Hunter to a Pro-Patron town, and he's just MAGICALLY gotten into the room I'm being held in. >>

The friendly acquaintance sat at the tiny campground with Jozef. Finally, after a few minutes of silence, Brogan opened up. "So, what brings you here to Sinnoh?"

Jozef calmly collected himself, and replied "Family troubles..." At that, Brogan began a slight chuckle.

Jozef was surprised he chuckled, and at that, grew angered in voice. "Something funny?" Jozef darted at the guest. The boy seemed puzzled, replying "No, nothing."

The two continued their small talk. "Funny, Poison and Steel working together, seems a bit weird," joked Brogan. Jozef agreed. "Yeah, it's weird, but we'd do best to stick together, don't you think?" Brogan gave Jozef a puzzling look. Jozef then added, "Plus, you seem friendly enough." Brogan grew a slight grin, and remarked, "Oh, do I?"

It was then agreed on that the duo would visit the Jubilife City Pokemon Center. "So, why not go back to Canalave, you beat Byron?" Jozef argued. "Don't want to talk about it, let's just go," replied a stern Brogan. Jozef obliged, took down his campsite in a speedy fashion, and the two continued through Route 218.

Halfway across the route, Brogan asked the inevitable question Jozef was expecting. "Hey Walker, you mentioned family troubles before...What did you mean by that?" Jozef stopped the trip temporarily, while leaning against a nearby tree. "Long story short, I was destined to become the predecessor to my father in the Gym he ran. My sister used some dirty tactics to ascend to the Gym Leader role, so I left. How about you, what's up with this Canalave issue?" Brogan listened intently, but still refused to answer. "You'll find out soon enough..." he said. "For now, let's just get to Jubilife."

After another half-hour of walking, the duo finally reached the outskirts of Jubilife, while the dusk began to set in. "What's the plan, Mr. Ninja? Gonna sneak through the shadows to the Center?" Brogan joked. Jozef wasn't amused with the comment, but calmly replied, "Nope, we set up camp again. Can't take that risk again." Brogan gave Jozef a stern look "What do you mean "again"? You've already seen Hunters?"

Jozef retorted, "Yes, some ordinary-looking guy charged at me in Canalave. Some shadow guy helped me afterwards. Guy didn't tell me his name, but he some accent."

Jozef began setting up his campsite, and pulled out the spare sleeping bag for his newfound Patron brethren. "Here, you'll appreciate the bag. Beats sleeping on the cold ground. Be up before dawn to heal your team."

This time the fight was very different. For some reason I didn't go into rage mode. That means I also felt all the darts... Those things hurt soooo bad. But I didn't want to be seen to be as weak as Lulu, so I fought on.
I whistled really loudly, calling all of the insects around me to the enemy. They only seemed to target one of them, he fell to the ground itching and swatting to get them away. Wow, Lulu's really getting beat up...Wait... I know!
A strange purple powder rose up around me, the hunters seemed to be mesmerized by it. Rage powder, it drags all opponents towrad you. I wanted to give Lulu a chance to attack.
"Lulu, now's your chance! Attack them while you can't get hurt!" Lulu seemed scared for me at first, but then she nodded and and started attacking, throwing a bunch of razor leaves towrad them. The darts were very painful, I could barely see. But I stood up anyway, whistling again to the insects, they left the hunter on the ground twitching. Then they came to me and formed a shield around my body. I ran at the nearest hunter, my hands turned into big spikes, and I jabbed at him again and again. The attack didn't do much damage but in the long run, it hurt. The hunter finally fell to the ground, just as my bug shield faded away. Only a few hunters left.

OOC: I'm sorry if I'm godmodding a little bit, with the few moves I have to work with It's really hard to type up the battles. I didn't bring up much of Lulu's part of the battle because I didn't know how to make her battle 'elegantly'. I'm really not trying to godmod but I'm not very good at the whole battling thingy.

"Wait, what?" I asked, turning to look at Shin'ichi-- whom I hadn't even known was there. I'd actually been thinking about how I would manage to get my Snowpoint Gym Badge, because Candice sounded like a pretty mean lady. "Oh, well, actually I was going to Hearthome. I want my badge from Fantina first, plus I was hoping to see Amity Park. I hear that some pretty famous people visit there sometimes."

"Alright, to each their own. Well, why don't we all just go together?" Shin'ichi asked me. I had to admit, this guy was persistant.

"Look, Shin'ichi, I don't want to be rude, but all of my attempts at being polite have failed miserably. I want to travel alone. I want to get my Gym Badges alone. I understand your whole 'Patrons should stick together' philosophy, but that doesn't mean I agree with it! I just want to do this alone. Say what you want, you won't be changing my mind! Go do whatever it is that you want to do here in Sinnoh, and let me get my Gym Badges! By. My. Self!"

"I... I didn't realize how badly you wanted me to leave you alone... You could have just said so..."

"I did say so. I've said so about five times!" I said. "But you just won't get it through your head that I don't want to travel with you. You have to stick by my side and protect the helpless little girl, don't you? Well here's a newsflash, this little girl is more than capable of saving herself. Were you the one taking down that crazed killer in the ruins? No, you went down after one hit. If that isn't proof that I don't need someone to protect me, then I don't know what is!" With that, I stormed past Shin'ichi and down the path to Solaceon Town, and eventually Hearthome.

Alright, I admit, I could have been a little nicer about that. But come on, he wouldn't leave me alone. Sometimes you just have to rip the band aid off, get it over with.
