	Log in to remove this sponsored message The War Welcome! Greetings, fellow role-players. Welcome to my role-play, The War, previously used by me in the older days of my life here at PokéFiction. The War is basically about the aftermath of a war happening recently in the PokéWorld, and it's up to you to survive and form a faction to help each other, and not be killed. There will be side-quests for your teams, and you can ally up with other groups. And of course, there will be the occasional battle between both groups. So you ready to take on the world of fighting, sorrow, and survival? ^^ Rules All Site-Wide Rules apply to this role-play, just as any other role-play. Not doing this can result in reporting, and you leaving this role-play. If it gets serious, then I will PM both moderators about it, and it's then up to them. No shorter than 5 lines. This is a strict rule, and will not go lightly. Not doing this will get you a strike, and then next strike, you're out. It is not hard to write 5 lines, especially with a plot like this. No Script Writing. It is a poor form of writing, and does not bring out any inspiration in your writing. If you fail to follow this rule, you'll be forced to leave this role-play. It is strictly prohibited. PM a person before making plot changing posts. Things like finishing the battle, or where the person will go next. You can do this any time soon, but the sooner you can do it, I'll allow a small award for finishing it, such as evolving and meeting a NPC. They won't be updated too much, otherwise you'll be getting too many awards. ;o; Battle off the Sceptile - Team Anonymous An outraged Sceptile has been found North of where you are right now. Slay and kill it. Explore the Misguiding Ruins - Team Hope A strange ruin has appeared overnight, and needs exploring. You cannot rest until you look at every nook and cranny. Do remember that there will be Pokémon in the Ruins. Find a Partner - Team Heros Many new Pokémon have been seen around the fields. Go meet a new Pokémon to become friends. Battles Frequently in the role-play, battles will occur, and it's hard to find a winner in a war when both people want to win, which has given me a creative idea. If you would like a battle with another group, then you must PM the other group, asking them if they would like to have a battle. Then the group must chose one writer, and they write a role-play entry on how they won the battle, via PM. From there I will judge the quality of the writing, and then declare the winner by the best piece of writing. This does not include 1 vs 1 battles, training practice, etc. That can be decided by you, or with your opponent. Groups Groups are - put simple - a group of Pokémon joining forces to defeat other groups. Groups always have a name, whether it would be symbolising their type, size, belief, etc. Groups cannot be no bigger than 7 Pokémon in it. Here I'll list all the groups, the group number and who's in it; Team Hope (2/7) Vast White Reshiram beccyorange Team Aegis (3/7) Zoroark Mewtwo45 Skyassassin Team Heros (1/7) Mawlie Team Anonymous (1/7) WarMachineBO No Team (1) SleepingNinetails Allies Allies are helpful groups that help other groups. PM the group you want to be with, and two members - one from each group - PM me, and I'll put it up here. This feature is helpful for battles, and joining groups that already have 7 members. 	As I looked across the empty fields, I couldn't help but feel a sense of grief and sorrow. I don't like to see things exactly as they happened; I liked to remember them in an... artistic way. And truthfully, the lie of it all is much more honest because I invented it. It's not that I'm... dishonest. It's just that I loathe reality. I glanced to my side to see my partner, Kasuke, standing next to me, looking out in the distance the same I am. I looked back out there. The world seemed brighter with Kasuke beside me. I tear rolled down my face. "Let's go, Mawlie," Kasuke whispered towards me. I nodded, as we walked back to the small hut that both Kasuke and I call home. I walked inside and sat my down on the dirty ground as Kasuke prepared a plate full of berries. As The War continued to rage on, the stock of food has gone down tremendously, and many Pokémon fight just to gain food. Luckily Kasuke has me, and I have Kasuke. We go together, and never leave each other. Kasuke put down a plate of berries in front of me. I sighed, as I picked up the unwashed berry and grimaced. I felt almost greedy doing this, as most Pokémon do not get this opportunity to eat at all. I placed the berry in my mouth as I chewed on it. I forced myself to swallow it, and picked up the next one. Kasuke was slowly eating as well. Even though we don't regularly eat, it's hard to digest something that isn't as nice as other foods. We kept on eating until the plate became cleared, and I got up. "We need to get some fresh air, Kasuke," I told my partner. He only nodded, and slowly got up. He walked to the hut while I picked up the plates and went to the door with him. We walked for about 10 minutes until we reached the end of the forest. We both entered and carefully stroll through the darkness. I felt misguided... travelling endlessly. We reached a small pool of water which I graciously climbed into, followed by Kasuke. Even though Kasuke had no idea, this was where I met my father. Not for the first time, however. For the first 6 years of my life, my parents have supported me and helped me get through life. The War soon came through, and my parents strangely left, without a note. I had no idea where they went, so i searched for them. Day in, day out, I tried to find my only hope; my saviour. They were the ones that I wanted so badly. I just wanted a friend to help me through the times that were tough. It was then I met Grovyle, however that is a different story to tell. After going looking for more food with Grovyle, I saw someone. It was exactly how I looked, however more muscular, a larger version to me. I ran towards it, but the figure quickly disappeared. Unfortunately Kasuke didn't notice it either, only mumbling it was my imagination, but I felt it was so much more. I had a connection with my father... And I felt that connection again. It's not that feeling you get when you think you saw something that you have loved and cherished, and then lost forever. It was feeling when you know you saw something that you loved and cherished, and then lost forever. I'm a slave and I was forced to write this by Miles. It's just a short thing I typed up since I want to write something else that I haven't for ages, so that's more on my mind. Zoroark, you can do what you want with that post, i was more leaning towards the battle, but whatever you choose I'm happy with. ^^ And to everyone; take this time to introduce yourself. Give yourself a history and personality, and don't be too boring. If you chose to take the 'parents got killed', please add something into it to make it more creative. Seeing them in a dream perhaps? Also appearance you can add, but I don't really see the point in adding an appearance when you already have a set appearance, but anything like a scar, a mark, or something else is totally fine by me. Try and be creative, and have fun with writing. ^^ I would look through the rules one more time; just to make sure that you don't get into trouble. I don't go nice. ;D I am really wanting to see 5 lines, please. -------------------

	"Sigh." The noise escaped before I could stop it. It wasn't too loud, of course; not much that escaped my mouth was all that audible. It was a heavy sigh, and a regretful one. I unbuckled my belt and tossed it to the side. Strange glances is what I would get if this were a friendlier time; now, most of the Pokémon I encounter don't get a proper chance to respond. It was a crudely fashioned thing, just a piece of leather that fit around my waist. Off of it hung various pouches of berries, and supplies, as well as some Miracle Seeds and a sharp object that Mawlie called a Stingstabber. Of course, that's not what it was REALLY called. According to the mentor I had inherited it from, it was called a 'dagger.' It didn't matter what it was called, in the end. The shrapnel did its job and served as my weapon. I glanced in Mawlie's direction. She was looking at me with that half-amused crooked smile of hers, almost curiously. Nodding back in acknowledgement, I sank into the depths of the pool. Upon reemerging my head, she looked at me. "You sighed before. What was that about?" "Oh, I'm just remembering the beginning of this Arceus-forsaken war." I stared into her eyes before sinking back into the depths, no longer in the mood for this horrid conversation. Bubbling back up, Mawlie surprised me by not bringing it up again. Even more surprising was what she did do; directly after emerging from the pool once more, she jumped on my head and wrapped her small arms around it. I smiled very lightly, knowing she couldn't see it. "Let's head back." There ya go, Newt. 	Remember the good times? With your family and friends? Together all the time laughing and smiling? Those times ended long ago. The war broke out and everyone started to die again and again. I knew the days of sorrow would end one day. That day was not today. I got up from my comfortable grass. The area was an amazing sight full of other pokemon. Everywhere I looked there were new things to be discovered. The grimy area passed and I saw the imagination leave my head and realty took over. Death. The only way to describe it. I looked around hoping to find a type of food. Nothing. My teammates left me long ago and I knew they wouldn't return. I walked over the the once beautiful cliff side. The water was polluted and death reeked. Then another feeling came over me. Love. Zoroark, the most amazing person I have ever met, left without a good bye. It got her killed because of that. The damned Team Aegis! I walked into the grimy mist and disappeared. Only the remains of a lost love was left... - Good? 	Saw some people that weren't posting so decided to give you guys your first quests. ^^ Do not take 1 post to finish the quest; these are to take a few posts to complete. You won't be getting quests regularly as these are more of a filler, so if you don't take your time, you'll have a lot of time that you can't chew. 	Holding my one prized possession over my shoulder, I trudged along the bumpy ground. The small indents and raises in the ground was just like my life, a roller coaster. I grew up in a small village as an orphan. I never met my parents, but I did not expect to meet them now after all these years. The village was to an extent peaceful. I never fit in with the other children because of the skull on my head; they though I was a monster. This resulted in me living a secluded life. As time went on people in the village starting hearing of news, news that would change my life. An army was fast approaching, and they were coming to kill. I remember the sounds of when they first arrived. Clash, clash, crunch, crunch. This was the end of my village. "CHARGE!" someone from the army shouted. The clouds grew grey and it started to rain; as if the gods started crying for us. Everyone in the village was slaughtered in almost five minutes. I could hear the daggers impaling chests, and thump bodies falling. I may have never enjoyed the time at the village, but I wanted to save my life. I ran into Forest of Rage. The forest was forbidden to enter because of the myths that embodied the forest. It was said to be a place of no return, but that did not matter then. I ran in the forest, the rain mixed with blood splashing into my face. I soon crossed the line between the small village of my childhood and The Forest of Rage. As soon as my foot pressed against the soft land of the forest, I passed out. I woke up with two heads in front of my face. I recognized one of them as a Mawhile. I knew that because there was a Mawhile that lived in the village. Something was different about this one, though. This one seemed more battle-hardened. The other face was unfamiliar. It was a green head and red running from the bottom of its jaw to its belly. It has leaves on its hands, feet, and head. All seemed sharp enough to cut through metal with ease. It had a fierce look to it, but a caring aura. These two became the only friends in my life. I knew them as Mawhile and Kasuke. I shook my head, waking up from my daydream. I sniffed around; I did not smell my friends. I silently cursed under my breath. Panic would not help. The trees seemed as tall as ever, endless even. I continued walking, weaving along the trees. Splat! My foot landed in mud, mud meant was was nearby from a lake that recently overflowed. I silently dashed forward, being cautious not to trip. The trees started to become less and less, as if the world was starting to open up. I spotted a lake in the distance with two figures appearing to be relaxed inside. I crept near the outskirts of the lake and I could see Mawhile and Kasuke. They did not notice me, which did not surprise me, because I can tread very quietly no matter the speed I am going. It seems they were relaxed and not in any danger; so I sat behind a tree facing away from the lake. As I slid down the tree with my back I could feel the bark scratching at my body. I landed gently on the ground and started to inspect my prized possesion, my bone. It was a good weapon to have and never failed me, never broke, never wore down. Other than Mawhile and Kasuke it was my only thing that I felt safe with. I just sat patiently, letting Mawhile and Kasuke have their moment. I will catch up to them when they start to leave, I said to myself. Since I joined at kind of a odd time I just gave my history and did not make any major changes to the plot, other than me being here, of course Kubrick you're up, do what is good with you and Nick (don't think he's online) story wise, I don't really mind. ------------------- [5:19:03 PM] Julia: yes last night [5:19:05 PM] Julia: very rough
