Joey is an ordinary eighteen-year-old who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, leading to a series of exciting advantures.

Tiny used to be a gym leader, before he left the comic and founded his own comic, 'Rescue Mission Y'. He has attempted to take over the comic in which he was created, but so far all his attempts have been fruitless.

Jimmy

Jimmy was an agent sent by Tiny in an attempt to destroy this comic. He recently found out that he is a robot created by Tiny. Now, his artificial emotions are making him have a change of heart, metaphorically speaking.

Frank

Frank was a stranger who trained Joey to defeat Tiny for the Creepiecrawliebadge. He is Deoxys' arch enemy and is responsible for his planet's destruction. Now, he is the leader of a small group of minor characters who want to appear on the comic more often.

Xavier Junior

Xavier Junior was the son of Xavier Senior and the former owner of Team X. He inherited Team X from his father and turned it into a criminal organisation. He was killed and is now a member of the Undead.

Xavier Senior

Xavier Senior is the father of Xavier Junior. He founded Team X, but died and became a ghost named Haunter. He was, however, resurrected by the scientists after a decade and he returned from beyond the grave. However, he was more recently killed for a second time.

Team X

This is a criminal organisation. It was once a law-abiding group, under a noble leader named Xavier. However, when Xavier died, his son, Xavier Junior, took over and began using it to commit crimes.

Professor Oak

Professor Oak is more commonly known as the Pokémon Professor. He is the assistant of, the creator of the comic. He briefly took over Shiny's position himself.

Deoxys

Deoxys is an alien. His home planet was destroyed by Frank's Pokémon, Scar, who used a universe-threatening move known as time blast. He has sworn revenge on Frank. He now resides on Earth, coming up with schemes to get his revenge.

Dragonite

Dragonite is a very powerful Pokémon, who is even capable of talking to humans. He got trapped in a video game in his struggles against Team X. He has more recently escaped from the game and now strives to have a peaceful life.

Darkrai

Darkrai is the master of the Undead, but has a dark secret. However, nobody knows what this secret is. Surely it isn't that Darkrai isn't actually a ghost Pokémon, is it? He used to be the servant of the previous master of the undead Pokémon, Giratina. However, this was millions of years ago.

The Undead Pokémon

These were once regular people and Pokémon, but they died and became ghosts. Gengar, Haunter, Duskull and Gastly are a few of this huge group of the Undead.

Mrs Jones

This is the mother of Joey Jones. She got kidnapped by Xavier Junior and Team X at the beginning of the comic, but was later released.

Alan

Alan was a character created by Shiny for another comic called 'PokéPwned', which was made by the creator of the Fugitive Trainer. After PokéPwned fell, he migrated to Rescue Mission X and started helping Mrs Jones become a Pokémon Trainer.

Old Man and Old Woman

These are two people who are trapped into a video game as part of operation X, a plan by Team X's leader, Xavier in 2000. They stay in this game for nine years, before meeting Dragonite. They apparently sacrifice their chances of escaping by giving the only power star to Dragonite. However, They have since managed to get out of the game themselves.

Shiny

Shiny is the creator and ruler of the comic. He is a corrupt leader, willing to do anything to improve ratings and to get more positive comments from his fans, even if it means putting his beloved characters in danger. However, he has still done much to earn the respect of his characters.

I can tell you now that he doesn't. I only put him there to reward the readers who know my comic well enough to recognise him. Also to satisfy my real brother who always gets to read my issues a few hours before they're posted.

I was talking about the number of threads. o: But I may have more issues than Shiny, if you count the Epic and Awesomesauce issues together...

If your Department Store issues before you made them independent count, then so do all my RMYs, my specials, my prequel, my Present a Fakemon issue and all my X Awards over three years.

But yeah, DDD2 has a record-breaking eight threads for Blarg. It got through thread six in less than a month.
