IGN is reporting a sequel to Bully is in development. I'm stoked, I loved the first title and I can't wait to see what kind of improvements they make in the next game. Not sure if this should go here, but I figure Rockstar fans have a right to know what the company is up to.

A Sequel to Bully?

Wow, Will it be Jimmy Hopkins again?
Or going GTA style, and just use a different person, school, and town/city?

No details yet. I'd like to see an ability to create a character in the next game. Playing as Jimmy was cool, but you could only customize him so much. I think it would be interesting to allow a character of either sex to play as.

Wow this sounds pretty damned AWESOME! I never played the original Bully, but I was thinking of picking up the Scholarship Edition either for the PC or the 360, and the sequel sounds great.

The 360 version is pretty sweet, but I've played the PS2, 360 and Wii versions and I prefer the Wii port. The controls are tight and intuitive.

Yeah I think I am definitely going to pick this one up. lol I just watched the video review. Oddly enough, I bought this game brand new on the PS2, but lent it to someone unopened, and have absolutely no clue who I lent it to, so if I want to play it I have to buy it again.

It's a little bit more narrative-driven than the PS2 GTAs, which I know is not your cup of tea, Chiro, but it's a pretty funny look at parochial prep-school life and the pacing is fantastic. Just as you get the mechanics of the game and the school-based system down, the town opens up and you pass classes, so you can stay out all day doing whatever the hell you want (including egging some annoying adults...LOL).

I loved the first one, but didn't enjoy the fact that the game froze every two hours. I hope that is fixed in the next one (if there is one).

Must have been a bad copy if you're talking abouth the PS2 version as the game never once froze on me.



Bully was a BRILLIANT game imo so I will definitely get Bully 2.The crap thing though will be that for I will have Canis Canem Edit and Bully 2.

I never played the first one, I just section moderated it while Moderator Requests summarily denied all the applicants for the forum. =D

I can't pick this one up given my lack of next-gen, although this does spur on the urge to go back and possibly pick up the first Bully...
