Gex: Obvious first question is obvious - A/S/L?
Charlie: I'm a 29 year old male from sunny Glasgow.

Gex: So how did you stumble across Neoseeker, and what made/makes you want to stay?
Charlie: I was looking for tips on GTA3 around December 92 and found Neoseeker. I used to just browse the forum and finally joined in January 93.
I loved that forum, El Rey was the mod at the time.

Gex: I take it you own a PS2 then, what other systems/games you have?
Charlie: I do own a PS2 but my daughter uses that as I have a PS3. I also have a PS1 that I use now and again to play my older games like 'Resident Evil'
My main games for the PS3 atm are Oblivion (my all time fav game) and FIFA10. I tend to be pretty selective in the games I buy. Oh and I also bought Final Fantasy VII from the ps store last week. I also like those puzzle games you get for the PC, the ones where you have to find things on the screen, got a few of them, very addictice they are.

Gex: Good man, Playstation ftw. So what do you do outside gaming and the internet? You mentioned you had a daughter, any other kids/family?
Charlie: Well workwise I am a Building Contractor building mainly new houses. I am a Joiner to trade but now all I do is price contracts & supply Joiners for any contract I secure.
I work from the house and on average work a two day week so it's a dream job and one that I'm very good at.
Things have been very tough this last year though as house sales have dropped significantly but recently things have improved and my order book is looking quite healthy.
Normally I would have between 15 to 30 men working for me but it dropped down to 3 a while back but is now at 18 so hopefully things are improving.
Football is my main passion, I live and breathe it. I support the most successful club team in world football 'Rangers'
Family wise I am married to Anne and we have three daughters, Natasha is ten next week and we have identical twins called Rachel & Heather who are three and they were born on my birthday.

Gex: What do you do outside work and gaming for hobbies?
Charlie: Well mainly football is my passion. I also play the banjo very well & I'm currently teaching myself bass guitar. I have my own snooker table so I love a good few games of snooker with my mates whilst having a good bevvy and I also like a game of poker.

Gex: Future hopes/aspirations?
Charlie: That my daughters don't grow up and marry some upper class dickheads.
That I get to dance to YMCA at my daughters weddings.

Gex: What kind of music do you like?
Charlie: I like most types but my fav artists are: The Clash; Elvis Costello; John Lennon; Johnny Cash & Glasvegas.

Gex: Favorite movie/TV show/song/any other favorites worth mentioning?
Charlie:
Movie: Once Upon A Time In America.
TV Show: Mock The Week.
Song: First Time Ever I Saw Your Face by Johnny Cash.
Colour: Blue.
Game: Oblivion.
Football Player: Denis Law.
Girls: Blue Eyed Blondes.
Food: Mince & Tatties.
Drink: Stella Artois.
Country: Scotland.
Crisps: Cheese & Onion.
Juice: Irn Bru.
Holiday Destination: Oban.
Car: Mercedes.

Gex: Anything else you want to tell us about you?
Charlie: I was in a fight once against two guys and I came off slightly worse and was in a coma for a week or two, result was my piturity(sp) gland got damaged by one of their size 12's and I no longer have any sense of smell or taste.
I got £21k compensation so that was a result in my book.
I once won a tin of biscuits in a raffle at a supermarket, my late mum was so happy for me, strange but thats one of the fond memories I have of her.

Gex: Shoutouts?
Charlie: Mainly to sweenEy who mods the FIFA10 forum. Best person I've ever met on Neoseeker, have known him for years now and he is a good mate.

No mention for the man who insisted you buy Oblivion? Come on Chuck, a little credit here.

Nice interview, funnily enough though, I knew pretty much all of it before.

Seemed a bit too short to me. But still has enough info to be a interview, nice.

I'd say Charlie did all he could while GexTheLizard came across as disinterested. There was no response to anything, nothing. More interesting questions would have come from a questionnaire on deodorant usage. I'd have liked to give Charlie a proper interview, but it's unlikely now. I think my interviewing days are over.

Eh, I'm up for being interviewed I suppose. You wanna do the honors Steel?

Guys, I am totally okay with allowing interviews now, but you should think about it a sec. The PPD of this forum is like 22. Are you sure you want to post interviews when the forum is so slow? Maybe we should wait to see it pick up when new GTA games are announced. Again, if you folks want, go ahead and do it, but it seems like it might be a bit of a waste, to be honest.

Edit: Another possibility is that anyone who gets interviewed in this time period would be eligible to be "re-interviewed" then the forum picks up. This way you wouldn't be wasting your turn.
