Opinions On Other Members In the GTA Community II - Page 5

Ok this is getting ridiculous. The majority of you guys have spoiled this thread and turned it into an excuse to argue with each other. Do you really think that by adding

It makes flaming acceptable? Well, here's a news flash, it doesn't. I can't even count the number of times some of you have been politely asked and then further warned about flaming. I'm not going to mention individuals here because you all know who you are.

I am getting seriously pissed off when I come into the forum and and see the same people bitching to each other. It's always about the same stuff too. If it's not about racism, it's about grammar or typos. It's getting *bleep*ing childish guys.

I hate banning people and those who know me, know I don't do it that often. But if this keeps up in this or any other thread, Chiro and myself are going to start handing out bans. This obviously includes out and out flaming but it also includes snide comments about each other that are hidden behind an on-topic comment.

I am closing this thread for a while to let you think about what I have said. It will be re-opened at our discretion but if this continues to happen, it will be closed and may never come back. Now I think this can be a fun thread and it would be a shame to lose it. But that is up to you guys.

Every single one of the regulars in this forum is capable of having sensible, mature discussions. It is so disappointing to see this happening again and again. Please take this as a final warning and stop it.

Balabadoo- Nice guy. Likes posting pictures. I don't mind them. They're funny. He's funny.
Chiro- Good mod. Knows when the line has been drawn and bans anyone stepping over it. Same goes with Steel.
Hazzy- He's okay. Nice guy.
BD, Sereph, Jack, Greg, Paulie- All like fighting. They should be more like John Lennon and just... stop... fighting. (Does that go under flaming?)
PSWII- Barely know him/her.

Me- I'm a good debater.

Hazzy - Got off kind of easy in that one. Apparantly wasn't even involved in the events that culminated in getting Balabadoo banned.

ChiroVette - Has odd ways of banning people. Harsh in some cases. I think I was as bad as Balabadoo and would like to be banned for as long as he is.

It certainly doesn't.

As for the "we all like fighting." however, I feel that the 4 of us, Sereph, Jack, myself, and Paulie just want the forum to be a more enjoyable place. It's not like any of us come on here for the sake of arguing. You've not said anything bad about any of us, well at least about me, thus I have no problem with you, so there's need to for you to think you flamed us. The truth can be harmful, all you've said has been the truth.

As for the John Lennon remark, as much as I love his music, it should've ended there. I'd rather not have a son who pretty much hates me

No need to be a martyr. You only spoke the words that needed to be said. You once had this whole forum hating you, don't forget. You've strayed from Balabadoo and you've turned out to be a good guy, no need to punish yourself for something you didn't do.

I'm sorry about the detracting of this thread but I feel I would like to say one thing.

As nice as it would be, that's where we too become breakers of the rules. It's a mods job to step in and take action, not ours. Sure, we can get hotheaded, but that "Report" button is there for a reason. It is our job, as the regulars here, to report negative posts to the moderation, not take matters into our own hands. That is something many of us, including myself, need to get used too.

By the way, thank you for your comment Pauliepoos, and please don't think I'm trying to bring you or your opinions down in anyway.

It should be noted that the one person who received a ban due to this whole facade comes from an ethnic minority.
