Easier money (because there is no easy in this game)

A fun little trick me and my dad happened upon for making very good money very quickly in this game is to buy and download the heavy damage weapons pack from the Play Station store.

Once you have it, bring the Contact Gun with you for the rest of the game.

The reason for this is the highly valuable ammo drops you'll find. Typical Contact Energy can be sold for about 4K a shot. Spend a few nodes to increas the ammo clip size of the line gun and you can carry more that you find.

Using this simple trick we were able to gather enough money over the course of the game in Impossibility mode (that is very much beatable) to purchase enough nodes that combined with the ones normally found we were able to upgrade and max out the Rig, kenesis modual, temporal modual, Plasma Cutter and Contact Gun.

Might not sound like a lot, but I'm sure you guys remember how much of your money went towards essentials (like med packs) on your first play through on Impossibility mode.

The Heavy Damage Weapons Pack (if you dont know already) is around $3 on the Playstation Store.

Before finding this trick out, despite having beat the game on easy, normal, and hard, me and my dad were spending every credit we found on health packs in Impossibility Mode, we never had enough money to actually upgrade beyond RIG 2.0 and normally had about 5k credits at the end of every mission.

That is unless you spam the stasis energy cheat.

It's pointless to carry around the Contact Beam for selling the ammo, when you can do the same thing with the Line Gun (Line Racks sell for 1000 credits per drop, just like Contact Energy) and have a much better weapon for actually killing enemies.

Seriously, except against enemies with big weak spots like Brutes, bosses, etc., the Contact Beam is terrible.
