HD Owners, show your stuff! |
|
Time to show what you got, ladies and gentlemen. Show case your HD setup for everyone to see. If you don't have any pictures, then you're a big fat liar (j/k). So show them off.
![]() Sorry for the lq picture. It's a 37' Olieva LCD. I also use those speakers as well. My parents also got a 56' DLP HDTV upstairs that I soon may play on sometime when they leave or something -------------------

Could you be ANY closer to that TV? Seriously, that has to hurt your eyes or something.
I dont have an HD-tv,.. yet. We're going to be getting a new 32" and 50+" HD-tv's soon. Hopefully I can also talk my dad into getting a blu-ray player and some blu-ray movies too ------------------- My latest short film, The Dispute

At the time I took the picture, my uncle was sleeping next to it on an inflatable mattress and moved it up. It's further back now/

re: HD Owners, show your stuff! |
![]() ![]() Hannspree 32" 720p LCD HDTV with a 5.1 surround sound theatre kit and yes, it only just fits in my room and yes that brown material you see in the bottom right is the bottom of my bed. My room is very small (measures around 7ft by 9ft or something stupid as that.) In other words, see the window in the first pic...there are a few more inches of width there before another wall turns the room into a box ------------------- ![]() ![]()

LOL, man if the room was 2 feet smaller it would be a prison cell. 5x9
![]() Anyway there is my 32" Panasonic Viera. It is still a bit of a wip. The cables are a bit neater than in that pic but not much. And I still need speakers to finish off the home theater experience. But after spending over 2000 on the TV, PS3, and equipment to set it all up I didn't have the money to get the quality of speaker I wanted. Plus I would like wireless speakers since there is no where to run the wires in my living room. ------------------- ![]() Education Forum|Books & Literature My Brute

lol at the Yoda
When I can get better angles I will try and get a shot of the whole room but where the TV is, is the top left corner of the room (the door is at the bottom left corner. Wardrobe is built in at the bottom right of the room and the door bangs into the wardrobe when opened up fully...hope that gives an image of how small it is width ways) length ways I can get my bed in which takes up the rest of the right side of the room giving me virtually the width of the TV size space to walk about in....oyyy luckily I'm not claustraphobic eh? ------------------- ![]() ![]()

This is the closest thing I have to a 'home theater'
![]() Thats my 22" Computer monitor, that I also have my xbox 360 hooked up to. It dispalyed in 1680x1050, but since the xbox dosnt support that resolution, I'm stuck at 1300x720. I also have the audio routed through my 5.1 surround sound computer speakers. Its pretty awesome, playing xbox at 720p, and just a few button presses away from my desk top. I can also watch TV on it (through my computer), and its where I usually watch movies from. I can move my monitor up to the edge of my desk, and take my wireless keyboard, and lay on my bed and watch a movie too if I wanted. The keyboard has play/pause, stop, ect buttons on it that work on windows media player. More pictures can be found here. ------------------- My latest short film, The Dispute

I just recently installed:
50" Pioneer HD Ready Plasma (Noted that Pioneer is top of the line as of '07) LG BH200 Blu-Ray/HD DVD Combo (Capable of playing Blu-ray disc, HD DVD, MP3& WMA, JPEG, audio CD, CD-R/RW, DVD, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD_RW) Satellite TV Surround Sound system going all throughout the house, including outside on the patio near the pool. Sirius Radio, to play through the surround sound. The quality of the system is stellar. HD to the max. Granted, this isn't my house I've done this for, but when I get a pic of the entire job, I'll post it here.
