I just checked out your Orange Box review because I'm actually interested in buying it soon. Pretty good read and your layout is really impressive. Really makes the read that bit easier. I'm sure I'll get to some of your other reviews at some stage too.

Just checked it out Mnmfan. Despite not enjoying the idea of the game, I was intrigued to continue my read. It's very well-written and deserves more views than it probably gets (it's a shame about how little reviews are noticed these days on here). Every sentence flows so well, and I love how you compare it to quite a few other past games, making the reader relate to the game you've experienced. The opening and closing paragraphs are extremely strong too - always important. Keep up the good work.

Gameplay

You don't need to header each paragraph. Anyway, you talk about the mechanics in a really roundabout way. "you move like this. actually you can also do this. in fact you can do this, too. A couple chapters later you can start doing this." it's all very instruction manual like stuff. you can write a much more concise paragraph by just explaining the key workings of the game and how they work for or against the experience. try to cut down when you feel you're getting wordy.

and the puzzles, you only mention that there are puzzles, but i have no idea what they actually involve! you really just need to get information across quicker, because here you wrote so much that you forgot to cover some important features.

in general though i like the way you write. this made me chuckle:
