I'm creating this thread because I like to review, and would also like to improve, as I'm consdering taking this as a career one day. Also, I haven't reviewed in years.

One last thing to discuss gameplay-wise is the difficulty, or lack thereof.

Both of the reviews..well, review edits are pretty good, and I agree, some stuff on Resident Evil 4 needed to be explored more.

Interesting to see a Mega Man 9 review put the graphics last. The impression I got from it was of a pretty annoying game so the score surprised me a bit but nevertheless you went into a lot of detail and provded opinions well enough.

holy shit, I haven't updated this thing in like forever haha (sheesh, so much so, I was still known as Crazyhand at the time)

I'm only posting because I'm trying out different, more... "gimmicky" styles. for instance, my Soul Calibur V review - I did it in a sort of "diary" style, partially to have more fun with it than just constant swearing and yelling, but mostly because I just couldn't get much out of it if I did it the usual way. I just want your opinions - does it work, or not?

I do get the feeling it starts off a bit slow though, like there's more introductory "fluff" than I would expect from a review before you start using the format to address the game itself.

although sound only seems to get a passing mention at the summary part.

I cut out a majority of the intro and added more to the sound in the summary section - can't really think of a way to include it in the main review without it sounding forced.

haha well he's gunna have to try cuz constant negativity is kinda gay. not to mention it gets pretty old - don't want to have us an Asian AVGN. maybe more of an Asian Razorfist.
