I've started writing user reviews again, hopefully this time of a better quality than my previous lot of reviews which ended over a year ago (I wrote a couple of decent ones toward the end, but apart from that they weren't really that great). My most recent review is for Digimon World 4. I decided to go for a new approach given that I haven't experimented with screenshots in reviews before, making it a fairly "magazine-style" review. Any critiques would be appreciated.

Thanks. I was a bit concerned about the length of the presentation section myself. I had to keep it brief because there isn't that much to say about the presentation which I could say in an original way (I'd used all the good words for describing things elsewhere) so I decided to give a general overview and pick up on the difference in quality between player and enemy models to give it a little bit of depth. If I'd maybe restructured other parts of the review I think I could have done it.

Quality > quantity

Even though I friggin hate Sonic The Hedgehog (360/PS3) so much, I have to say, the review is pretty good and, if I haven't already played it and hated it, I'd rent it to see how good it is. Good effort, you went into a decent amount of detail without tiring the reader out.

The way you've put it makes it seem more interesting than what I'd originally thought. At first I thought battles basically run on autopilot, but if the movelist increases as Digimon grow then it doesn't seem too far off the Pokémon setup.

It's a great review. You got right to the point and covered seemingly everything I can really think of.

Very good structure is displayed in your most recent one you mentioned here, I'm happy with how you've managed to put a fair amount of information into a condensed review. Great job, man!

Brilliant Sonic review there. You provided a lot of detail about the game without boring the reader. Maybe put in something about the overall difficulty and lifespan of the title, but otherwise you've done an excellent job on it.

For your Enter the Dragonfly review, it was also great. Nice job sliding the reference to the Metal Gear series in there. I already have A Hero's Tail, so it appears as though I followed your suggestion before you even told us about it.

I still don't really get why they gave him guns. ._.

Anyway, great review there. You gave me a lot of details about how the game plays and some of the presentation aspects. I feel that your graphics description is a little sparse as I really didn't get more than they are reasonable and the framerate suffers a little. More stuff like draw distance, character designs, animation etc would be brilliant.
