Offensive Names / Chat Use

Anet's doing a Q&A thread on reddit for people who have been banned for being inappropriate. I doubt that actually applies to any of the fine people here, but I did find it absolutely hilarious to read.

They quote what was said in chat to get people banned, and the thread is of course full of bad names, so you know, don't click the link if you don't want to read that. Link

They're working hard to keep the community in line, and I'm really digging it. People are nice, no big idiots getting away with murder, it makes for a great environment.

To be honest, good or bad, I've barely encountered any talking outside of WTB etc. I get ignored all the time lol.

LloydToS I like doing the same thing, honestly. There's always people on /map who seem to need help with something or another, or when I have a question or need help, I just post it there, and get a response in a matter of seconds. People who answer my questions are always respectful, and give a straight answer as opposed to some crazy response that makes no sense, and when I help someone else with a problem, they always seem to generally appreciate the assistance, and always give thanks for it. It really makes you feel good when others are so willing to help out and are so respectful.

so far so good. I haven't met any disrespectful interactions. I think a large number of people playing this game are more mature, or have a sense of fun.

The fact is they are already banned that is why we no longer see them in our environment.
Whatever the matter is, it is good to know that everyone is acting accordingly.
