Can please have option to tell Queen what's her name to eff off, and just let them kill her?

Kind of tired of each human plot being centered around someone trying to kill her.

Still would like to be the one to off the queen next...

Last night, as a levl 40 Guardian, I was running around Harathi Hinterlands (lvl 35–45 area) trying to 100% and I came across a resplendent chest being guarded by two 43 Elite and a Champion centaurs. A few other people were there as well and I got a party invite. The centaurs were on a somewhat small dock on a small lake which was inside of a mine. The lake was filled with about 15 Barracuda so jumping in and swimming away when your health was low was not a viable option. There were a couple of rocks in the lack which provided some safety and allowed you to attack from a distance but you were still open to attacks from the centaur.

We all died a couple times but someone was always alive to wait and lose aggro and then go around ress'ing everyone else. the 5 of us were having a tough time still so after regrouping again, I sent everyone a Cherry Tart (18% MF, +40 Power) and changed my skills to reflect projectiles and be more defensive. We had two groups on different rocks and one by one we'd go to the chest and loot it while the centaurs were distracted and then head back to the rock to take up the fight again. After a while we kill the Elites and the Champion and the others who hadn't gotten the chest take their loot.

During all of this, an event was going on outside so we decided to stay partied and do the event; it was Seraph Assault on Centaur Camps. So. Much. Loot. I ended up getting a yellow Pirate Coat; couldn't wear it so sold it on the Trade Post for 10s.

Overall, a really fun time. I'm really amazed at how friendly and helpful people can be in GW2. I can't think of any other MMO I've played where this was the case.

I have to agree that most of the game promotes teamwork, though with some clever movement you can do certain group things alone. It's nice when people actually care about ressing other people though etc. If you ask a question you will get a decent answer 99% of the time. WoW was a bit like this in it's early days and I personally fear that the community will slowly fall into that tradition, hopefully not to the same extend (due to the teamwork promoting). For now I like how things are going, the players themselves are often what makes or breaks a game.

Haha Abyss, got the exact same problem. I cant figure out what i'm gonna do when Borderlands 2 comes out.... Good thing Diablo 3 was a let down and didn't catch my interest

I agree with the whole Diablo III thing, Rey, GW2 and BL2 are definitely going to be the ones that get all the face time, so would have been terrible to have yet another pinned on there. Looks like Lorx has it all planned out, though, heheh. So I partook in a conversation on GW2 the other day about a chicken, but I'm not sure how legitimate this is, I heard that if you attack chickens, they get all crazy and get a buff that's reminescent of Legend of Zelda, getting invincible and all berserky...

I believe I've killed many chickens, without ever receiving chickeny death.

I wonders if it's just a really random freak encounter or something? Or maybe the guy who was claiming it was just telling lies, as I've never seen it yet either.

Flame Phoenix I really didn't get anything too impressive, except for a very nice Ascolonian Hat (looks like some kind of pirate/musketeer hat.) Other than that, more or less of the usual.
