What race will you choose?

I'm sticking with humans. I've never been a fan of monster races.

At the same time as not making humans mediocre, I hope they aren't overpowered, but instead every species should be pretty balanced with each having their own strengths or weaknesses that can exploited in battles.

My favorite class in Guild Wars 1 was the Elementalist, however my favorite race is the Charr. I have read their description of what happened to them during the 250years between GW1 and GW2, and I'm sorely disappointed that the class I adore the most, is apart of the most least liked legion. It will be hard for me to get into a character I enjoy (I role-played in GW1 and plan on to in GW2) when being apart of the Flame Legion (now mocked and humiliated with the name the Gold Legion). Nor do I want to be apart of a legion that requires on deceiving others into false beliefs to gain power.

I still like the Charr as a race, but as the legion system goes for GW2, not really my cup of tea.

My main would be a Ranger but I'm not sure what to choose. Definitely not Charr as I don't really like them, especially for my main guy and probably not Asura because I don't really see them as Rangers. So it is most likely between Human, Norn, and Sylvari; I have no idea which one I will choose.

I think I will be an Asura. I have always thought that they are little balls of energy ready to unleash it at any given moment.

I think I'll go with the Norn and humans.

To me, the Norn have a certain charm in battle that fits them. It will be exciting being able to control my own Norn Warrior.

As for the human, I have a tendency to like those that have a form similar to my own, no racism implied.

I'll probably be a human since i suspect we'll have to watch scenes where our characters talk I would rather have a decent voice actor than someone attempting to sound like another race >_>
