I asked her to make a rope once when I wanted to build the shelf. After that, I wanted her to make rope for the raft but she keeps on saying that she doesn't feel like it.
Does she do this? I mean, do you have to wait a few days before madame feels like making rope or is this yet another glitch?

Also, I didn't see the option to have her make more ropes than once like in LIB2.

To have her make multiple ropes you choose a different number of materials. It defaults to 1 but use the directional arrows to change it up to as many vines as you have available in the vine pile.

I haven't encountered claire saying that she doesn't feel like it. But it sounds like maybe you made too many requests at once or something. I guess she'll have to cool down before you can do anything. Try gifting her a rubbish lunchbox to make her happier.

I may have scuppered my game by asking one of the boys to smoke fish...he's done nothing but sit there for days and the fish has gone off! And if I ask him to do something else I think the second request goes behind the fish one, because he still just sits..

What I've done is, I've asked her all different questions. What was new, about making the beds, furniture and then went back to the rope question and that worked and I suddenly saw how you can add more so I've done 6 in one go, just in case she doesn't feel like it again! LOL!

This game does have difficulties though, now you are having trouble with the guy just sitting there. It's odd as with the first 2 LIB's, I didn't have any problems at all. Maybe they made this game a little too quickly.

Unfortunately I've always had glitches come up in these games. In the first one I got fed up with Serious Survival mode, as it would regularly freeze whenever I got near my tamed goat. I forget what the problem was in LIB2 - maybe there wasn't one, I can't remember. Then on this one, I got as far as having the fourth character but none of my people would let me ask them about medicine so I couldn't revive her. I had to restart after 40 someodd game days.

I am having that problem with Claire right now! She won't make me rope, and I have tried everything! I am getting really upset...

Try and wait a day and then ask her all different kind of questions and then as last question if she wants to make rope.
It's madning I know as you want to progress in the game and are stuck.

Edit to add that last night Claire refused to make rope yet again. This is madning as you can't continue with what you want to do. Grrrrrr.

For those playing as Claire (as I am now,) Sam is really quick at making rope.

And it turns out the fish takes about 5 days, I always lose track but it's more than three. And if you check the rack while he's working on it, the fish does look spoiled, but it comes out OK in the end.
