The online portion is completely separate from the campaign, is it not? That's the confusion I'm sort of having and also why I have yet to buy it. I was looking forward to playing the campaign storymode with a bunch of friends, but then I heard you can't. The co-op is something completely different where you compete to see who can make the most money among other stats. This true?

I hope not, why do developers always do shit like this? Just let us play the actual game with a buddy or two for *bleep*s sake.

yes that is true, the multiplayer modes are different than the story modes. You can work as a team to stop ghosts from "stealing" artifacts and work together to stop ghosts in a survival type mode. They are all things like that. I was very upset because I wanted to play the campaign with my girlfriend. We were both so upset when we found out this it would not be possible.

Yeah, found that out after I bought it, but since I figured it was that way, not such a big disappointment as it could have been. Still sucks, but honestly, campaign is just a blast anyways I'm kind of glad you can't play with a friend. Haven't tested out Live yet on it, which I plan to do as soon as I beat the story.

I agree the story mode is tons of fun. I haven't had this much fun playing a game in a long time. Just something about this game and the gameplay is just amazing. The graphics are very well done with vibrant colors and the audio is top notch sounding to me too. Overall I think this is a great game and everyone should try it.

not to mention they took the multiplayer function out of the PC version...wacked!
