Well I don't know if anyone really checks this forum much at all, but I guess that's expected considering it's a new game and all... But anyway, I'm just postin this to see if anyone else here on Neo has any interest in the game. So feel free to post anything about Pirates in here; i.e. Your experience with it so far, favorite aspects, etc.

I've only been playing for about, I don't know, 4 days I guess? On and off, haven't been on the computer too much... But I've greatly enjoyed the game, it's fun to play, and not too skill intensive I guess. So far, I'm a basic free player, Level 6 Notoriety... Probably my favorite aspect is sailing and sinking ships, either by myself in my crappy sloop, lol, or with my friends in their better ships.

If I could change anything about the game, I'd allow more ships to basic players. I mean, I know, it's free, but I still think it would be good for "free" players to have atleast one of each type. The sloop itself has good speed, but I think the best way to approach it would be to allow all the "light" ships (light sloop, light galleon, light frigate) to the basic members. I'm a longtime member in another MMORPG Runescape, so I know that its important to benefit members for their support. However, they could release more powerful ships for members, and decrease the effectiveness of the light series and make it available to basic members. That would greatly improve my gameplay, atleast

Disney is just trying to get you to pay them. I tried doing a side quest (bat killing). I killed 1 bat, and this pop-up came and told me all the benefits of becoming a member. After that, it came up again, everytime i killed something, or won a ahnd in poker. It got very annoying, so i became a member and it stopped.

i just started. my guy is named Swordskull, no first name. level 4.

but it seems to be really glitchy so its hard to play sometimes. and the chatting is weird cause it sensors several words that dont need to be (i typed the word "polishing" and it made it red!) wtf?!
