"It is said that Lesnar will not fight for a very long time, if ever again"...Although Meltzer is probably the most reliable source out there, it's probably not as bad as is being made out - Brock's been an elite athlete his entire life and I'm sure he'll bounce back from this.

Second staph infection in the last year for Nog. Maybe they should replace the mats at his gym or something or however it is one gets a staph infection.

What this does do though is it opens the door for the lower tier HW's to step up. They may even have to create an interim title if Brock is a long term casualty. And yeah, I'd be getting the best f'n medical team too if I were Dana - Lesnar's their biggest draw

If Lesnar is out for anything over 6 more months they should really look at creating an interim title, he hasn't fought for 4/5 months as it is. Very unlucky timing on Carwin and Big Nog too, although I'm glad Big Nog and Cain is off.

Dunno what they're gonna do for a interim champ though, four man tournament with Dos Santos, Mir, Velasquez and Couture or even Rothwell? IDK. Although if they hang on a few months, maybe Carwin and Nog will be fit again.

Dana is fast to make interim belts, so I don't count on it taking long for him to make one if he knows Lesnar is gone for awhile. Bummed that Big Nog is off 108, a PPV plagued with injuries.

Save_us.AA. I'd love to see Arlvoski back in the UFC, but he hasn't done well in quite awhile. Well, Fedor is pretty good, and Brett Rogers proved he can hang and have a chance at beating some of the best in the world, so in retrospect Arlovski hasn't been doing that bad. Pretty much everyone loses a fight at some point. I wouldn't mind seeing AA in the mid-card of an event fighting average heavyweights in order to work his way back up and restore confidence in himself after the tough KO loss to Rogers.

And I hope Lesnar comes out of this alright. I haven't been a fan of his, but I don't want to see anyone's career or livelihood taken away from them by something they couldn't really control.

Anyway, this really sucks about Lesnar. God damn, here was a breath of fresh air in the division and the overall promotion, all that might potentially be taken away. I can't imagine how he'd feel if it was a worst case scenario. Won't have time to completely shut the haters up(or try to).

I like Carwin too, I hope he recovers well from that but it does suck one of their money matches is in the bin now. Guess Dana really has to go to work now.

Dana White is trying to get Brock Lesnar into the world famous May Clinic and tells TMZ that Lesnar has some sort of intestinal disorder that will require "major surgery." White described Lesnar as "very, very sick" and that he had collapsed in Canada a week ago after going there to rest up after being diagnosed with mono.

White also added the following: "There's a possibility Lesnar will never fight again."

Hopefully that surgery goes well, even if he can't fight anymore. Would be better if he lived a long and healthy life than have it cut short due to internal problems.

WCCO-TV, which is the CBS affiliate in Minneapolis, adds that Brock Lesnar is suffering from diverticulitis. Diverticulitis is a disease which is usually found in the large intestine. It forms large pouches on the outside of the colon, which then becomes inflamed. Treatment for diverticulitis usually involves no solid food, only being fed through an IV and an aggressive antibiotic treatment. Also, in severe cases, surgery can be required to remove the infected area of the colon. Surgery is usually avoided, unless it is a severe case, which Lesnar's appears to be.

Dana White once again said that he does not know if Lesnar would fight again.
