Well we have some breaking news from one of them right now... Georgie: Yes Ed, and the club we are talking about is Hyde United. Now you're probably not aware of this, but there has been some drama at Hyde over the last week. Ed: Yes, Their manager was sacked just 6 days ago for reasons which the club did not specify. These private goings on seem to have enraged the fans. Georgie: Yes but I think the fans need to pay attention now because a press conference has been called at extremely short notice, and for the first time ever, Hyde United are going to have their club broadcast on Sky Sports! Ed: Yep, and were going to go live to the press conference now. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The Press Conference Chairman: I'm sorry that we have had to call this conference at such short notice. However, I am pleased to announce that we have found a replacement manager to take the club forward. I would like to make clear that the club felt it important to find a replacement quickly to allow the new manager to build his own squad for the forthcoming season. Details of the previous manager's sacking will not be released at the current time. Perhaps at a later date. Moving on, I will now leave you with the new manager of Hyde United. If you're watching this on Sky Sports News, you're thinking that you don't even know who Hyde United are, never mind me. Well, don't knock your television off yet. You see, I have no managerial experience. But I have plenty of experience in football. I may be only 25 years old, but I had the potential to be world class. I was signed for Tottenham aged 18, and was 1 week off making my debut in the prem. In a training session on that week, I suffered a horror tackle. My leg was broken in 7 places. The damage was so bad that my career was instantly over. The last few years, I have been in rehab. Realising that i will never kick a ball again pains me. But, this chance. It allows me to still have a major effect on the game of football. Yes, I may be on crutches, but i'm still going to change the beautiful game. Me and Hyde United are going to the top. It is rumoured that Tigers' manager Matt Hill has been given around £5,000 to spend in the transfer market. Hill has previously said that he can see great potential in the squad with a few additions. Unfortunately, it looks like the wage budget could be his downfall. It has been said that the wage bill is close to the limits at Hyde recently, and that players will have to be sacrificed for new players to come in. So you can expect plenty of wheeling and dealing in the transfer market in the very near future.  Tigers Get creditable Draw off Stanley  Matt Hill's reign got off to an impressive start, with a well-earned 3-3 draw against a team 2 leagues above Hyde in Acrington Stanley. Hyde United officially annouced a link with Manchester City this morning. It involves young Manchester City players coming on loan to Hyde for first team experience.We talked to Matt Hill briefly about the link. Hill brings in Pope on Loan Matt Hill's first official signing has been announced as 21 year old striker Tom Pope from Crewe Alexandra for an initial 3 months. I think a mixture of Size 1 & Size 2 would look better.
Also, instead of just updating us with 1 transfer, its better to do all of your transfers, and then tell us about em | |
