	Oh god. I remember it all. It was just a normal day, a normal, wet, groggy British day. I was just leaving my home, kissing my girlfriend and daughter goodbye, and walking to work. I was crossing the road, and then...bang. A car, a Nissan I believe, came across full pelt and smashed me. I felt numb. My life started flashing before my eyes. My birth, my birthdays, the day I met my love and my kid's birth...I thought I was dead. But then I woke up. It was London again, same street, though slightly...different. I had a quick glance, a surveillence of my surroundings - and saw a headline on a newspaper stand. 'BLAIR DECLARES EDUCATION PLANS' I looked at the date. 28th June, 2000. This can't be real, can it? 	Yes, it is the 00-01 db. It's a very good db, I encourage people to try it. You may need to use modifier to edit a few fees (Ronaldo being 15.75m is kinda unrealistic) but it's still a fantastic db. The footballing side will come shortly, I need to get some minor details out of the way first. Update coming soon.

	Alright, first the basics. My name is Sam Doyle, I'm 26 from London and I live with my girlfriend Sophie and my 5 month old daughter, Amy. I would give anything for the main women in my life (oh, and my mother and family too). I work in a steady job, it's quite boring though - I work in an office called Adrian's Log, which organizes paper and printing. Quite boring but the practical jokes side is very good fun. I don't quite understand what really happened. All I know is that Tony Blair is the Prime Minister, Mission Impossible 2 is top of the Box Office Hits and Glenn Hoddle has been missing for 6 days. 'You alright there, chuck?' I turned round. It was a man, a 6 foot, black haired man with a long coat on him. I wanted to keep this conversation as short as possible. 'Yeah, fine...' 'How are you feeling?' 'Sorry?' 'How are you feeling? The car crash. You still aching?' My mind boggled. Man, this guy knows his stuff. 'My name is Sam too. Sam Ellis-Caes Hart. It's a bit of a handful. Especially when you're drunk.' 'What happened to me?' 'I remember this one time...' 'WHAT HAPPENED!' I shouted with all my might. I wanted to see my family. I wanted to wake up. Please, Please, Please say this is a dream... Sam looked at me, and sat down on the nearby bench. 'You might want to sit down. This may take a while...'

	Thanks for the comments. I realize that Glenn Hoddle was NOT in the Tottenham job for the whole 00-01 season, but let's not let tiny little details stay in, shall we? It's sort of like 8.0.2. - Grant wasn't Chelsea manager for the whole year, but in some SOMS he is. I kicked a can of Coke as I walked down the street. God, I was depressed. I've lost 6 years of my life and the 2 things I'll ever care about. Then it hit me. If Hoddle can live my life...than I can live his! Let's see, 2000,2000....Hoddle is still in his Tottenham job (or was until he went missing). I could go back and claim it! Tottenham manager, Sam Doyle. That sounds good. No, wait... Tottenham manager, Glenn Hoddle... I began to run as fast as I could to White Hart Lane. People recognised me as they went down the street! They knew who I was (or who I was supposed to be)! I arrived at White Hart Lane gates, and the groundsman opened them. 'Sir!' the groundsman seemed to mutter. 'Glenn? Is that really you?' 'Yep! Sorry about the dissapearence, got hit by a car, big fuss. I think I've got amnesia, can you tell me where my office is?' The grounsman nodded, and led me to my office. I passed people I knew from Hotspur magazine and programme sections - Ricardo Moniz, Dr Charlotte Cowie, Daniel Levy...this was going to be goood. I was still being led by the grounsman (who's name was Jed and he had 3 daughters, 2 ex-wives and a poodle...and lived in a semi. He'd been boring me all journey...no wonder no one talks to him much), and I passed this beautiful girl. She was amazing. Blonde hair in plaits that reached the bottom of her shoulders. A smile that would melt butter. She reminded me so much of Sophie. 'Jed, who's that?' I asked, nudging in the direction to the girl. 'Huh? Oh, that's Janey. She's your secretary. Now, my neighbours are ok, but when they started the BBQ, I knew ther'd be trouble...' As Jed spoke on and on, Janey smiled at me. She was stunning. I'm a lucky man...No. Think about Sophie...think about Sophie... She smiled again, and added a quick wave. Must...resist...temptation... 'Mr Hoddle? MR HODDLE?!' I'd forgotten Jed was still there. 	_{Sunday, 2nd September 2000} I've been in this job/reality for nearly 2 and a bit months now, and have started to get a bit used to this time. I have my own house now, and have got used to the boys at Spurs. I am currently 5 games into the Premier League, and will tell you about my part in this club. I've always supported Tottenham. Ever since I was a kid, 2/3 years old. I could say 'Tottingham' before I was 13 months old. Firstly, the friendlies. The Leyton Orient game was a kick in the balls, but I think the Hassalt and Vise games were some relief. Overall, an O.K. pre-season. SIGNINGS I had a bit of a cheat to the transfer window. I knew what kids would do well over time, and how people would do in the seasons to come. My first signing was Jean II Makoun, who I think will gel well over time. He is only 16, and he cost me less than a bag of peanuts. That's right, £0. What a bit of buisness. Next, I went to a future Arsenal player. It went against my morals, but why not. I welcome Kolo Toure to the club with open arms, in hope he can partner Campbell and Kind in the defence line. A young goalkeeper is needed - as a follow up/replacement to Sullivan and Walker. I eventually plumped for Ben Foster, a player who in the alternate timeline went to Man U. He is a very young goalkeeepr who could take over Sullivan's spot. My highest fee of the summer was for winger and striker Andrey Arshavin, who cost me 6.25m. At an age of 26, he's young and cheap. Last signing was a striker, a Tottenham favourite. Who else but Teddy. Still 34, and in the Man U reserves, we have him on loan until January, where if he does well, we can loan him for longer. There were 2 more signings that will go through at the end of the season - 14 year old Micah Richards for an overall 3m spread over 2 years and striker Kevin Doyle will be joining for 250k.
