It runs soooo s..l...o...w...l...y....

I just beat the game for the first time and loved it - yet my gaming experience was somewhat hindered by very slow and jumpy movement. Is there any way of remedying this? To be fair I have a pretty ancient laptop (Acer TravelMate 4150) but I haven't had problems with other games running slowly before. Anything apart from using a different computer I can do to help it run smoother, i.e. turning down certain graphics controls or something????

Age of Empires 2, Rollercoaster Tycoon 2.... old stuff. Nothing like Call of Duty or anything like that.

That machine's specs, listed here, confirm this. Your GPU is an on-board Intel controller, and an outdated one at that. In the gaming world, any on-board card is bad news, especially one from Intel, and especially especially an outdated one.

So, in order to reasonably play any games from the last 5 years or so, you'll have to totally upgrade. That's the unfortunate long and short of it.

No just log into your steam account on his laptop, where you just have to redownload the game.

thats is why im not a pc gamer, u need special things for ur computer (if its old) and if ur super lucky, those special things might work
