Jugdral is the best continent. At least they had legendary weapons worthy of their names in there. Jugdral was also the continent for my favorite games of the series. I want remakes of FE4 and 5.

Elibe comes second, Tellius after it. I won't even speak of Magvel.

Yeah, but it was supposed to "revolutionise" Fire Emblem, which it did a good job of, it was just done sloppily.

Yeah, I heard that they made FE7 first, but they wanted to make the first GBA release easier...And easier to FOLLOW for that matter.

I really do doubt it's true though now that you mention it, My theory is that they wanted to expand on a story that had so much potential like this one did.

Personally, I like Elibe best. It just... Seemed like the best? Magvel comes next, because it was a pretty good map, just the game on it was a little bit odd. Tellius I'm not a big fan of, because of the completely impassable center, and all the space that you can't really ever do anything in...

I have to agree with Ranger on that point. There was a lot of impassible places and wasted space. Elibe is the best map, I think. Especially since there is so many cities and tribes, whereas in Tellius, there are only Begnion, Daein and Crimea.

How so? I think they hit the nail on the head with Elibe: it's background was well-explained, and tied in directly with the formation of the various countries; each area you visited (especially places like the Western Isles in FE6) had a very distinct feel to them, and the people from those areas also had noticable cultures (the traditional Sacae garb or Ilian Peg Knights, for example); you even explored minor areas that did not stand out on the map, like the Dread Isle and the hidden Mamkute village); every country functioned differently, it wasn't like Magvel, where there was Monarchy, Monarchy, Monarchy, Theology, Monarchy. You had Elibe's marquess system, the Monarchy of Bern, the tribes of Sacae, the Warrior Clans of the Western Isles, etc. All in all, it was the best-made out of the games released outside Japan.

The only thing I think they could've done better is have Eliwood & Co. explore more of the continent; it really was just Elibe and Bern.

In FE6, though, Etruia played a big part, and Ilia had the chance to, depending on the path you took.
