How do you think this game compares to the other Kingdom Hearts games?

I personally think this game is better in ways, yet worse in ways. I like the commands, but I dislike everything else about the battle system. I wish they would've kept the battle system from KH2. It was a lot more simple, and easier to use. I prefer the D-links over summons. However, I wish there was still forms and limit breaks. I loved those. I also miss pressing for all of the actioins in a boss battle. There's also my personal preference, I would've liked to see more Final Fantasy characters incorporated into this game. They probably could've fit Jecht into there, given that Zack was here. I've always loved seeing my favorite FF characters in the KH games.

However, I do prefer this game over the old ones in ways, too. I like how we can play as three different characters whenever we want. I disliked always having to play as Sora. I also like melding commands, adding abilities, leveling up commands, etc. I think it's a lot easier than button combinations used in previous KH games. I really like the addition of "Critical" mode. After beating Sephiroth at Lv. 37 on Proud mode in KH2, I felt like I needed a new challenge. I've always felt that Proud mode was too easy. I like Critical mode, because you can no longer get away with button mashing. You have to time your hits, dodge and counter at the right times, and it's a lot more fun actually needing skill for this game.

All in all, I really like everything about this game more than previous games, other than the battle system. I'd probably give the game an 8.5/10. I still prefer KH2 over all the other games.
