The mysterious figure's identity? *possible spoilers*

Gunna go ahead and say that it's a new character for Kingdom Hearts 3, one we've NEVER seen before.

Doesn't make sense for it to be Xehanort since:

Xehanort was still amnesiac at the time.

Not to mention Xehanort doesn't hold those sort of powers. For the same reason, it can't be Xenmas.

Yeah, new character, not worth guessing over since it'll be someone we don't know.

Why would a KH3 Version of Xehanort appear in BBS which is set several years before the first KH began?

Fight Terra in the end of KH2 Final mix? That was after BBS, and he was Xehanort.

Fairly certain his lingering spirit is in BBS Final Mix, in his Keyblade Knight armor. Unconfirmed, but if you look at the video it's fairly obvious.



1:50. Considering it takes place in Land of Departure, seems fairly fitting to be Eraquas' Lingering spirit. Also it boils back down to, "he doesn't hold that sort of power."

Again, character which hasn't been introduced, much like how Xenmas was cloaked and fought in KH Final Mix and we had no idea who he was, and how Terra Remnant was fought in KH2 Final Mix and again, we had no clue who he was. Follows a trend imo.
