kind of sucks that i cant play this boss as Aqua (Final Story Save)

We got to fight the Vanitas Sentiment man, why would you ever want to fight Sora?

Wow, I don't even recall that battle in KHII

I remember beating Sephy, that was it.

But yeah, just beat Vanitas's Lingering Spirit in Critical. Way harder than any previous Kingdom Hearts bosses.

Onwards to MF!

The whole reason Nomura had Vanitas Lingering Spirit in this game was because the fans liked the secret boss from KH II: FM+. Did any of you know that any time you use a cure spell while fighting lingering spirit, it heals HIM to full health as well?! Which means you HAVE to do it with potions, if yo can. I did it with nothing. Just take him down fast, no messing around.

And BTW, that battle wouldn't have happened in BbS, as it was Terra's Lingering spirit 10 years later. You played as the lingering spirit when you beat the final boss of Terra's story. He had the same motions when he sat and everything. His spirit stayed, much like Vanitas's emotions stayed and haunted the land.

I got so frustrated. I couldn't figure out why my tornados weren't working on him. I tried the mines and it still didn't work. The curing of yourself makes him cure himself immediately as well. Though if you use potions, it doesn't happen. thats what I meant. You're best chance is just to kill him fast. I had to hit him once, and then I immediately casted Tornado, and surprisingly I watched the health start to lower and lower. My heart leaped. I couldn't believe it finally worked.

But where could it have appeared? Why would Terra's spirit ever attack any of his very close friends? He didn't know Sora, maybe he felt the connection of Ventus, Vanitas, Roxas, and Xehanort coming from him. I don't even think he'd be in the third one either. It just wouldn't fit. II is the only spot.
