Time to get some discussion going on here.

We already know of two new weapons, both currently unnamed(as far as we know): The Scythe, and the Ninja Claws.

We've seen videos of these new weapons as well, and they both look really sick to use.

The double swords have retuned as well, looking even more brutal.

Personally I can't wait to try out that Ninja Claw. That be really awesome if they added a bare hands/martial arts option for when you're fighting or if they made the claw somewhat like that.

I'm also excited about the Scythe although I think it looks kind of odd with Ryu carrying it about. Don't ask me why I just do. Lol

But regardless how many new weapons there will be I can almost see me preferring The Dragon Sword and the Nunchakus like I did in the previous games.

The scythe certainly does look odd on Ryu's back, but at the same time, it goes quite well with the "Vengeance" feel of the game.

I was delighted by the speed and uh.. lets say fluidness in which Ryu uses the scythe! I was terrified from the screen shots that it would be incredibly slow and unwieldly and well.. those are the reasons i disliked the warhammer so much, but it looks fantastic =D!

Personally i wish the demonstrator had used the claws against the smaller enemies, as they didnt seem made for the big demons that he fought them with at the end.

Another note on the weapons: I love the blood effect left on them that Ryu flicks off, and the fact that if you dont stand there long enough for him to flick it the blood will remain on the weapons even if he re-sheaths them. I just like that little addition because it kind of bugs me in some games when the sheathing of a weapon returns it to its uh, 'default' model. Little things like that i enjoy =).

And as for the new Ninpo, from the elemental nature and the look of it in the vid it seems like itll be some kind of Air Ninpo. For anyone who hasnt seen the vid, it looks basically like a shockwave that explodes out from Ryu, like tenken said, and slices enemies into confetti XD

That's not a shockwave, that's been described by everyone as a hurricane based technique.

Shockwave seems to mean that it could possible be an earthquake type.

Orly? Sweet, i thought you were referring to the wind blast as kind of a shockwave.

Either way, the sweetest finisher imo is the one he does on one of the last of those bigger demons (w/fighting claws) where he either slashes or kicks its head off, then takes its leg off with the blade on his feet, its arm off with the wrist blades and then jams his claws through its stomach. I cant wait to do stuff like that! XD

It would be nice if they would actually name the new abilities and weapons, giving us one name for one weapon isn't telling us much.

As far as the shockwave goes, who knows, maybe I was wrong, but that would be a terrible move on the part of the journalist who wrote that.

Those 'Ninja Claws' are attached to his hands and feet, right? I can't wait to try that. The scythe...meh, it's certainly faster than Rachel's hammer, but I'm not into that kind of weapon.

Wonder if they'll add more ninpo techniques besides the wind one.

I wonder if they'll be getting rid of any weapons, like the Dabliharo. (Please God, no)

Itigaki gave an interview nearly two weeks ago confirming that the Dabilahro was removed. He found the bigger weapons were slow.

Besides, it's better to see new weapons than old ones.

Dahilabro gone... how could they... it was my baby... i swear i shall get vengence.. No but on a serious note the dahilabro was a favorite of mine not mention it was B.A. but with the scythe of "reaver" as some call it along with the ninja claws will distract me from my pain so i shall get over it:)
