I have a very suitable system for thes game but I am more prone to using the Xbox controller. Should I sacrifice control for graphics and get the PC version. Or should I get the Xbox version and suffer from poor framerate and low graphic quality?

I would recommend the XBox version because the PC version does not have mouse support in the main menus and the biomod screens.

What r u talking about? yes it duz.........Get PC its way better cuz patches come out to fix any bugs..xbox has Sh1tty controls and just all out sucks like all of there games...no mouse on main menu and bio mod menu?? have u even played the game?

yep am at the Tarsus laboratory level - the mouse fails to work even in the demo version.

If you've played many or a few first person shooters on the PC and not felt uncomfortable with the controls (eventually, you get to the stage where EVERY FPS game becomes "comfortable" as the fundamental controls are the same) then I'd suggest getting the game for the PC. If not, get it for Xbox.

UM PC - XBOX LMFAO...

Nothing agains the XBOX, but it certainly cannot run this game! But there again, neither can most PC's!

ATI cards are favoured for Deus Ex 2, due to the quality of the ATI shader engine.

You're gonna need a fat card to run this game at 1024x768 with bloom on etc... Ideally a 9800Pro. Harsh but true!

Not too harsh, considering I have the 9800 Pro (thank god I finally got a job, or I never could have afforded it).

Just thought i'd say that I chose the PC version, mostly because I have a PC that can run it. You know what? IT RUNS FINE!

Ive played this game twice through on the Xbox and it can handle it... the graphics just arent as great, I would say Xbox all the way if you are more comfortable with the controls. Everyone on this thread discriminates against xbox because they think it sux.... but so many of the threads begin with "help me my computer cant run this". You will definitely run into less problems using the xbox as long as u dont mind sacking graphics. My friend plays on the PC and i will admit it looks nicer.

Personally I prefer most FPS type games on the PC, I'm just used to the mouse+keyboard style controls. However, I can't play Halo on the PC, only the Xbox...

Get whichever you prefer - what feels most comfortable to you.

I would reccomend the x-box version myself, but it's pretty much your own opinion.

And of course maybe thats because I got the x-box version, and never even knew there was a pc version.

WTF are some of you people on? I mean, honestly, better control with a XBOX controller? Over a mouse/keyboard combo? I think perhaps not. If you're used to it, sure, the illusion is that you have more control because of practice. But once you get used to mouse/keyboard you'll never be able to go back to a controller.

Can't use mouse in config/menu screens? WHAT!? Get a grip, of course you can. I know the PC version is almost a direct port of the scaled down XBOX version, but even Warren Spector surely isn't that dumb to not allow mouse on PC.

Trust me, mouse works fine. Check your config. BTW if you have a reasonably decent PC, PC version all the way baby!

I prefer the PC version over the X-Box version. Even though it is blatantly obvious that the PC version was just a port you can still use different resolutions (too bad I can use 1280x720) and download high res textures.

no offense master of vg but i find it weird when moderators dont tell people to stop flaming. i prefer the Xbox i never thought it had bad graphics actualy, and i find the controlls way better than a pcs because the pcs controlls r spread apart wich is annoying, i find it weird how people can controle there char and remember w=up rather than the easy way up=up but with a xbox controler u dont have to find the keys cuz they r rite there and there closer together so its easyer. but thats all M.O.
