Forum Rules
|
Hi everyone. I'm reminding you all that you should follow the Site Wide Rules while you're on Neoseeker. It will only take five minutes or less to read through it, so please take the time to do so.
These won't be enforced like we're evil dictators who will ban you for twenty days for the smallest mistake but they will be enforced reasonably. So you can't continue to be a nuisance and get away with it. Me and Avalith (my co-mod) will treat you with respect if you offer others the same courtesy. It's a fair deal so it's up to you guys if you want to take it.
I think there are some rules that are more relevant to this forum than others, so I've put a few of them below this post and expanded on them a bit. If you won't read the full Site Wide Rules, then at least take the time to read these:
- Off-Topic Posting: It's fine to chat about the game and you're not forced to stick exactly to everything in the first post and thread title. However, that doesn't mean it's alright to turn a thread into a personal discussion between two or three of you or to post what is (to be brutally honest) pointless rubbish that nobody else will really care about. You can always use PM to talk to other members or get their MSN/Yahoo/AIM (etc.) info and add them on there.
- Flaming: This basically means don't be nasty or attack someone. People come here to kick back and relax, not to get hassled by other people. It ruins any decent atmosphere that the forum might have. Also, it will scare off any new visitors. So no insulting, profane or vulgar remarks.
- Bypassing: Moderators can tell if you are using another account to cause trouble or are pretending to be a guest. If you do try such a trick purely to get up to mischief, we have no problems with telling everyone who you really are. If you do it so you can try and escape a ban on your main account, you'll be in much deeper serious trouble.
- Double Posting: If you post additional identical replies/posts by mistake, please delete the duplicate replies by clicking the del link at the bottom of each. Where you need to add more information on to your original reply, click edit at the bottom of your post and add more to it, instead of clicking Reply and creating two replies. It clogs up the thread and it's annoying to scroll past the same person for half a page!
Thank you.
