How can I do this? I am in the Forest of Death still and I am at a point where kabuto taught me how to break rocks then I need to walk across the river I belive how do I do it?

Find the 'rocks' in the water, and walk on them. Not that hard.

It's easy. A preschooler could do it...

Beat the Preliminary Chunin Exams and When Jiraya Crushes Ebisu He'll teach you how to walk on rocks. At the forest of death at the place you tried walk on water Neji and Sasuke's Cursed mark vest and pants are there with one of Jiraya's ripped pages.

You also dont need to walk over tat path get out of there go to the right exit.

You aren't at that part yet, so what you have to do is finish exiting ihe forest of death, beat the chunin exams part 2, then go to the hospital, you will now have access to the riverbedof training, then you go through a cutscene, then talk to Jiraiya, and get all 4 ripped pages then go back to Jiraiya and he will teach you how to walk on water.
