ancient pier

hey can anyone please tell me were the ancient pier is please there is a wierd boat thing i have to make and i don't know were it is?? x

The first ancient pier on Shipwreck Island is at Pier Beach. That is where you build the raft. You build a canoe at East Beach on the second island. On the third island I have found ancient piers but can't use them.

On the third island the Ancient Pier is for crafting a Catamaran, a seaworthy boat.

I've built a canoe on the 2nd island but it won't let me go in it. My sim has all the requirements that its asking for but every time i try and get in the boat it says you do not have enough energy! no matter how much my sim sleeps, it won't let me go in the canoe. help!

Two things to do.

First make sure that you have the best bed that you can make and that your Sim sleeps in the bed.

Second make sure to make an energy meal, this is food that has a positive number greater than zero, and eat the meal just before trying to use the canoe. It will help if you have a stove and prepare a meal with that, since you can have more than one food item in the meal then.

If you still can't use the canoe after doing the above, work on your body skill by climbing some trees etc.

What, mechanical? Build things. In order to get mechanical skill, just build big structures like houses, shacks, tools and sand buddies.

What is the skill that you are talking about that requires 2 points? I can't help you if I don't know the skill.

In case any of you are not getting something, here's my contribution:
You need to get all the resources you need along with skills and energy (pretty easy) to build the Raft at the Ancient Pier on Pier Beach, which you can then use with full energy to travel to and from Airplane Island (West Beach). When you reach East Beach all the way on the other side of Airplane Island, there is another set of Ancient Piers. It will be difficult, but get all the resources and skills to build and complete the canoe. Then you need to craft the best bed you can (these include Provisional Bed, Sturdy Bed, Bungalow Bed I think), and sleep on it right next to the pier. Than as soon as you wake up go and put the bed into your inventory and get on the canoe. Don't do ANYTHING in between or your energy will deplete. The canoe will then take you to South Volcano Beach of Volcano Island. When you reach whichever beach it is (possible North Volcano Beach, can't remember) with the final set of Ancient Piers, you're gonna need to do some work. It'll take days to get all the resources and skills you need to craft the Catamaran, the "sea-worthy boat" to sail you off the island and complete that goal (don't worry, the game's not over when you do this, you just complete a goal and briefly get to visit your old home via still shots) and you'll need to probably sleep on the Bungalow Bed (the best bed there is) to be able to get onto this. After you've sailed off, you can come back to the island and try to figure out the other way off the island. Good luck!
