Hi, has anybody already reached Caltha ? I won all the regional championships and then went to Caltha ..... was ruinously defeated in the first battle .... then the game automatically proceeded and my party headed back to Nordagh ... and after another cut-scene I had to fight a brutal giant (forgot the name) plus two ogres. No choice to select gladiators ... you have to play with Urlan, Ursula, Valens and Ejii (?). Had definitely no chance at all, that giant just needed two strikes to kill Ursula ....... and then the game is OVER !!!!
Very frustrating .... has someone a good hint of how to deal with this situation ? Anybody who made it ??
On another topic: I realized that some of my opponents wear Executor Swords (I mean they just need one strike and I come to death). I'd like to equip my party with those swords as well .......where can I find them ???

[color=red][/color]I was able to win the High Tournament in Caltha without any problems...and the same thing happened to me! Two hits and the game was over! I never even stood a chance! Very very frustrating. Other than that I've really enjoyed the game. Hope someone can help me out!

The Caltha tournament is a 5 battle series... if you win them all.. or if you lose any or back out of any.. the result is the same.. you end up at the difficult battle that you two are talking about.

This battle is tough...try to use Eiji's stun on the big guy... make sure to use affinity attacks... but don't worry.. as long as your main character doesn't die.. even if your other people drop.. they will still be alive after the fight is over.. So if you're using Ursula.. then throw the other characters into the fight.. and have her hang back so she won't get hit.

As for the exectioner's swords.. yah they suck.. you can get one by recruiting a heavy with one.. taking it from himi and expelling him. Other people have seen them for sale in Belfort.. but I've never been able to buy one there.

I bought a couple in belfort, but like the death's head or dark affinity 3, it just makes things too easy so they're no fun...

For that fight in Orin's room, use Eiji to Spark Galverg.. he'll be out of it for a while.. the 2 ogres got a total of 1 swing at me before they were dead, and the Death effect didn't kick in.. i just had Urlan break defense, Ursula kept using Energy Blast ( didnt want her up close ), Valans Combo'ed once, and then affinity 4'ed, and eiji just kept running away from the other one.. she can run circles around him so she kept him busy while the rest of the party took care of business

Don't bother trying to spark the ogres, they're immune...
Oh, and if you try it several times, sometimes only 1 ogre will have an executionner sword, which makes things a lot easier. I'm not sure if they're immune to petrify though, so morphing Urlan and swiping might be a possibility
