I only use Yamcha on weakling opponents. If they're good enough to shut down my Wolf Fang Fist (which is unlikely), I'll switch to my "power" characters:

Goku
Android 17
Trunks
Nappa
Piccolo

I hardly use Vegeta because that's everyone else's choice, even though he has nice moves. If I really want to get nasty, I'll get either Cell or Teen Gohan. I've NEVER been beaten with them.

Trunks is also one of my best. All the moves that require the ever-so-hard K-K->-K-K-E are hard for my friend, but are easy to me. I just never seem to be able to use Krillin's Destructo Disk...

I wouldn't say Yamcha's the worst, just close to it. Plus, his WFF can be charged to be unblockable and can be use for wake-up games (I play a lot of Tekken). It's more dangerous than it appears.

Also, why is it that Goku is never on anyone's list for strongest player? As long as I have SSJ and Kamehameha equipped, the match is mine. He's easily a better character than Vegeta on the game and the strongest.

i wanna know how you came to the conclusion that goku is better than vegeta. Vegetas galick gun does more than gokus kamehameha. You can actually pull off all of vegetas combos without them being blocked in the middle. he is faster. his rush and swing punch(where he dashes and you push square) cannot be dodged. You can pull off big bang attack without having to be behind the guy(unlike goku's spirit bomb). goku has zero advantaged over Vegeta, except maybe he is more powerful when hes super saiyan. but that doesnt last very long considering it drains a bar of energy about every 5 seconds.

by no means do i like vegeta better, but he is by far a better fighter.

At first glance, it does seem that Vegeta is the better character, but I've found Goku to be better. Goku is stronger with his SSJ at 140% while Super Vegeta's at 120%. Also that charging square attack that Vegeta does can easily be stopped by pressing R1.

Goku also has more unblockable combos than Vegeta. His >PK[K] combo and his PPP>[P] are practically unstoppable. Goku's launchers are also faster than Vegeta's, allowing him to link more powerful moves together than Vegeta can.

Also Goku's Warp Kamehameha is 840 damage points while Vegeta's Final Flash is only 600, yet they have the same button configurations.

Does anyone ever uses Goku's Ki Flash capsule? It's an absolute must have since it negates those cheap ki blasts.

I have no problem with staying SSJ with Goku; I just remember to take the fight to the air so I can tech roll after every knock down.

Okay, Vegeta does have an advantage with the Big Bang Attack against Goku's Spirit Bomb. However, if I SSJ I don't equip the Spirit Bomb anyway, since it can only be used in Kaio-Ken.

Yamcha is easily my fav. I swear his kamehameha is the strongest in the game(If you hit the person just right, it can take an entire life bar,when set twice) and I'm getting into using Andriod 17 and Hercule.

Android 17's P,P,K,K,K combo is teh KICK ASS!!! that the whole reason I wanted to get good with him, for that move. It just looks so cool...

And Hercule is good to, I just realized yesterday that all his moves are very easy to do, and extremely funny...

Also I like most of the saiyans (Basically all but Raditz and Nappa).

The one thing I dislike about Android 17 (and this is also true of 18) is that the move Power Falling Star is ultimately the exact same as Vegeta's Meteor Flash, or any other one, but 17 and 18 for some reason seem a bit slower to connect the final blow and it makes for some weird timing to use the attack. Of course if you get really good you can charge the final hit so your opponent drops his guard just in time for you to launch the move... but it still gets on my nerve sometimes.

My favorate character is Trunks hes my bud hes cool ive Mastered his moves Buring Blast and Buster Cannon are NICE
AND I HATE Stupid old Hercule no offence but he cheats
Actually its funny when i use him but he doesnt do much only reason i wanted to unlock him is because ill see scenes with (I LOVE THE MOVIES ON THAT GAME) him and Great Sayainman Pretty cool if i do say so myself

Yeah, I like using Trunks too! My favorite to use though is Teen Gohan SS2.

My favorite character on the game and show is Vegeta...Big Bang Attack is great. Brolly is my fav. from the movies.
