Okay, I'll try to lay this down. A lot of people consider me to be the Dragon Ball Series Guru. ::Cracks his knuckles:: Okay let's start...

Akira Toriyama is the all famous creator of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z. THe series technically ended at the end of DBZ. The sole base purpose for Dragon Ball GT, was to promote the video game, "Dragon Ball: Final Bout" It was never meant to do anything else except promote that specific game. Akira Toriyama had NO part what-so-ever in creating Dragon Ball GT. Dragon Ball GT was to introduce people to the new characters which were going to be in Dragon Ball: Final Bout e.i. SSJ4Gokou, *Chibi Gokou. DBGT started and it didn't get very high because it was just *Chibi Gokou, Trunks & Pan searching around the universe for the Dark Star Dragonballs" So they amped it up and actually started adding some main villains such as Bebi, Ii Shenron & Super Android 17. The game became popular and the series ended with Gokou Jr. and Vegeta Jr. at a budokai tournament.

About 2 years later Hideo Kurjami a man of 22 started to draw characters as if the series never ended. People started to get interested in his drawings so they caught on and they are what you see as today. This information is all true, you can even ask the creator himself.

Below are the CORRECT names of some of the characters, in American and Japanese. FUNimation changed the names around so they were more catchier and easy to say.

Japanese: Gokou
American: Goku

Japanese: Kuririn
American: Krillin

Japanese: Piccoro
American: Piccolo

Japanese: Bejiita
American: Vegeta

Japanese: Gojiita
American: Gogeta

Japanese: Bejiito
American: Vegeto

Japanese: Bebi
American: Baby

Japanese: Majin Buu
American: Majin Boo

Japanese: Torankusu
American: Trunks

Japanese: Seru
American: Cell

Japanese: Kakarrotto
American: Kakarot

Japanese: Saiyajin or Saiya-Jin
American: Saiyan

Say what you want but those are the correct names for both areas. Any other is wrong. Those aren't all of them. I will use the spelled to the form which people can recognize the most which is the American one. I will refer to the Japanese one also.

The ones below are some people that you might not know, so I'm taking the liberty to type them out for you.

Super Android 17
This is a combination of the original Android 17 and Artificial Anroid 17 which was made by Dr. Miru. Both of them fused to make what they call Super Anroid 17.

Bebi
Bebi is the last of the Tusufurujin (The race of intelligent people who also inhabited planet Vegeta). Bebi was their secret weapon to use against the Saiyajin. But time ran out and then all died off. He comes to Earth to destroy the remaining Saiyajins. He has the power to also posses people. As he does with Vegeta.

Hey thanx Game Masta for the information. It really explains alot. But...I don't wanna be an ass or nething but, this thread is for the oh so famous Dragonball AF. Do you have any information like that for DBAF? Some rumors say they are making it, some rumors say they aren't. Care to shed any light on the situation?

If they did make it it might be cool. They could make it really awesome if they just had any clue about the Dragonball series.

The series is not going to start mainly because Akira Toriyama hasen't ever wanted to continue from DBZ. I beleive the last thing he did was Chrono Trigger for PS1. I can't think of anything he did since then. He has no plans that he's told anybody to start making a new series.

I didn't say that. But anyhow, noone else has the right to create it. It just would be cool though.

a movie that was released at the same time the game was released. this movie is an OVA (so you'll never see it on TV). it's a weird movie with weird fights but it's fun to watch. Time: 10 days b4 the Cell Games (Gohan is a SSJ but not a SSJ2)

OK, I have the REAL scoop on Dragonball AF.
All pics you may have seen, are fake. This whole rumor started with the Uncut DBZ Petitions agains Funimation. Some people were planning on making their own flash DBZ Movies on the internet, which wasn't a bad idea. The AF stood for "After Funimation". They started drawing their own DBZ pics, and special Super Saiyan forms they created on their own. Those are the DB AF facts. Also, if you are wondering about new DB series, don't count on it. As of now, the live action DBZ movie is taking up 100% of Akira Toriyama's time, and he didn't even want to do GT when he did. He only wanted to do this because his relatives urged him to. OK?
